POV

"Am so scared to check darling. Ever since the results came out I can't bring myself to check. What if it comes out..... I can't think right now. I'm literally shaking right now."

"Sweetheart calm down. I will be coming home soon so we would check it together. Just calm down and try to remove your mind from it. I'm sure that whatever the results says, we can handle whatever it is. Whether positive or negative, I will always have you back and support you all the way so please don't stress yourself too much thinking about it. Okay baby?" he asked me from the other line. Yes we were actually talking on the phone.

"I can't call Mum and Dad because I'm scared of their reaction when they replace out the results. I want to first confirm the results before telling them. Gosh Calvin I want to cry. I'm really scared." I said.

No matter how hard I try, I just can't get it off my head.

"Count one to hundred while I rush to you. I'm sure it will help you relax and not think about it till I come." he said.

"It's childish. Are you sure it will work?" I asked.

"Just trust me baby and try it. I won't disconnect the call. I want to hear you count." he said.

"Alright I will do it. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 ..............." I started counting.

"65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 7........."

"BABY I'M HERE." I was interrupted by Calvin's voice. I jumped from the bed in full speed and raced to the living room jumping on him.

"I'm now. Don't worry we will see the results. I'm sure you did well because you worked really hard. So don't worry sweetheart just relax. Where is the letter so I can open it?" he asked.

I got down from him and quickly took out the letter from my back pocket.

"Here." I handled it to him. He collected it and took a deep breath before opening the letter. I looked at his face trying to see his reaction but he didn't show any. He finished reading the letter and folded it back. "What does it say?" I asked him.

He let out a sigh before he guided me to sit on the couch. I still didn't understand his actions. It was so weird. And he wasn't saying anything. He left me in the living room and went to the room.

"Does that mean I have failed? I didn't pass my exams. But I did very well. I read so hard I answered most of the questions correctly so why did I fail. I need to read the letter myself and see what it says." I said to myself. I was about opening the letter when I heard a loud POP.

I was startled and jumped. I raised my head to see Calvin holding a champagne which was pouring out of the bottle. I was surprised.

"What's going on?" I asked him looking so confused.

"I promised myself that I was going to open this champagne when you passed your exams so ta-da. Congratulations baby you did so well I'm proud of you." he said smiling.

I looked at him for some minutes before what he said clicked in my head.

"WAIT I PASSED? LIKE I PASSED MY EXAMS?" I asked him.

I quickly picked up the letter again and opened it this time. I read the contents and saw that I actually passed my exams. I let the paper fall from my hand and began to shout jumping. "Darling I did it. I did it. I REALLY DID IT." I shouted on top of my voice.

"Yes you did it." he said smiling.

"I need to call my Mum and Dad. I need to tell them the amazing news. They need to hear this. Where the hell is my phone when I need it?" I asked as I searched everywhere for my phone but couldn't replace it. "Calm down and look for it carefully. You can check the room maybe you left it there." he said.

I ran to the room and he was right. I left the phone right on my bed. I picked it fast and quickly dialed my dad's number. After two rings, he picked up.

"Hello my princess. How are you doing?" he asked me.

"Daddy guess what?" I asked him sounding so excited.

"Hmmm.... let me guess. Calvin took you out for shopping." he answered.

"No dad."

"Okay then. Did he promise to cook for you for some days or weeks or even month?" he asked.

"No he didn't Dad." I answered.

"Alright then he agreed that you can come spend sometime with us." he guessed again.

"Wrong daddy." I said.

"I honestly can't think of anything right now since everything I could think of is all wrong. So tell me what is it." he said giving up already.

"Okay Dad I will tell you. I passed my exams. I will be going to medical school." I said jumping.

"Woah really princess? I knew my daughter could do it. I mean I gave birth to brilliant kids. I'm so happy for you my princess. I will send you some gifts later or why don't you come over so we can celebrate?" he asked.

"I would love to come over and celebrate with you all but the thing is Dad I want to celebrate this special news with Calvin alone. He has done a lot for me when I started studying for this exams so he needs special treatment from me." I said to him. "Alright I understand you princess but know that we will still celebrate this good news with you tomorrow then. I will tell your mother to prepare tomorrow's event." Dad said.

"What event is going on tomorrow honey? I don't remember us having an event tomorrow so what are you talking about?" I heard mum ask Dad in the background.

"My Baby thank goodness you are here. I am on a phone call with our princess and guess what she just told me?" I heard him ask my mom.

"Her mate said she can come spend some few days with us, is that it? Because I know that's the only thing that can get you this excited." Mum said.

"I thought it was that also but I was wrong. She just told me she passed her exams. Our girl will study medicine. Aren't you happy for her?" he asked Mum.

"Of course am so proud of her. Layla baby congratulations. Am happy and proud of you my child." mum said making me to smile.

"Thanks Mum." I replied her.

"So what event are you talking about honey?" I heard her asking Dad.

"I was telling her that we would celebrate the great news tomorrow since she wants to celebrate today with only her mate. So tomorrow is when we will celebrate her. You should start planning on how the party is going to be." Dad said to mum. "Am glad she made that decision by herself. It shows she's maturing. It's fine then. I will prepare tomorrow." Mum said.

"Congratulations once again my princess. We will be expecting you tomorrow okay." Dad said.

"Sure Dad. Thank you. Love you both. Bye."

I ended the call and dropped my phone on the bed and went back to the living.

Calvin had already poured the wine into two glasses and he was waiting for me.

"Awwnn sweetheart. Thank you so much for this." I said to him.

"You are welcome. I guess your parents were happy to hear the news right?" he asked smiling.

"Yes they were so happy that they are going to prepare a celebration party just for me." I answered him.

"That is cool. So when are we living?" he asked.

"We aren't going anywhere." I replied.

"What? But why? Is everything alright?" he asked looking worried.

"Yes everything is fine. I just declined to go home today to celebrate till tomorrow. I told my Dad that I wanted to stay with you and celebrate with you alone today." I said to him.

"But you can go today then tomorrow we spend enough time together alone." he said.

"I know that but I want to spend time with you today. That's all. I love it when we are together and besides we did make love last night because you were tried with work. You slept off on me for that matter. So I decided today we will make love before you fall asleep." I said to him.

"You are so horny. I don't seem to understand how high your sex drive is. Don't worry my love, I will satisfy you today. Tell me how do you want me to go." he asked with a smirk on his face.

He cleared his throat.
