Chapter 264

MIRA POV

Life here at home is so nice but sadly it has to end because Landon has to go back to school. I was feeling so sad to leave Mum, Dad, Luca, Layla, Calvin and Grey.

This break I bounded so well with both Calvin and Grey. We all became very close friends like I was with Luca. I am really going to miss them all. All the hangouts, games night and all I will miss it.

I was feeling so sad yesterday but the moment I talked to Tina who called me last night I was happy to return back to Landon's school. I can't wait to see her and how big her baby bump has grown. We talked at length about how we were both doing. Now I'm feeling so excited to see her because I missed her so much. I also missed Parker too.

"Mira dear are you ready to leave? Landon is waiting for you downstairs already." Mum said as she entered the room.

I was sitting on the bed doing nothing when she walked in.

"Oh Mum I'm ready. Sorry I was so lost and didn't remember that he was already downstairs." I said standing up.

"I see you are already missing us already. You don't have to say it my dear it's written all over your face." she said smiling.

"You are right Mum. I really don't want to leave. I am already missing everyone." I said sadly.

"Don't worry after this session that's the end. You won't have to leave again. So just manage it for some moments. Besides you should be happy you are with Landon and not that you are here and his there." she said.

"I can't even imagine being away from him for that long. I will really miss you so much Mum." I said as I hugged her.

"I will miss you more than Landon. Don't tell him I said that." she whispered into my ear.

I laughed at her and nodded before I let her go. She does knows how to lighten up the mood.

"Alright we need to go now. We can't keep them waiting." she said as she held my hand and dragged me out of the room.

We went downstairs and there Landon was talking to Calvin and Luca.

"Good Mira is here. You both should start going before it gets dark." Dad said.

"Excuse me but why does it seems like you are sending the kids away fast?" Mum asked glaring at him with her hands on her waist.

He looked at her and gave her a sheepishly smile.

"Baby I didn't mean it that way. I was only looking out for them because you know their journey is a long one and they need to get there on time. They have already stayed here for long and they might get there late if they don't leave right now." Dad said gently. "Whatever you say." Mum said rolling her eyes.

"Mum, Dad we get going right now because we know you both won't end what you are doing right now so bye. Take care of yourself." Landon said.

He was right. When Mum and Dad starts, they won't end till Mum especially finally gives up and forgives Dad.

"Before you go come and hug your mother." Mum said sounding so sad as she opened your arms wide.

Landon smiled as he hugged her. They stayed like that for some seconds before she let him go.

"Alright you can go. Please when you both are coming back, come back with a baby bump okay because I need grandchildren." she said smiling.

My face went white as all my blood disappeared. I looked at Landon to see his reaction but he was smiling at her.

"Mum don't you worry. We will grant you your wish." he said with a smirk on his face.

I looked down and walked out of the house in embarrassment. I was so shy that they were talking about that and Landon wasn't bothered about it. As I walked out of the house, I could hear them laughing loudly making my cheeks to turn so red because I was very sure they were laughing at me.

I entered the car and waited for Landon to join me. It was a good that he didn't waste time inside. He joined me and started the car. I looked outside and noticed no one came outside.

"They all decided to stay inside so it won't be emotional." Landon said like he knew what I was thinking about.

"Oh...." I said because I had nothing to say except for that.

Landon began to drive while I went through social media with my phone.

"Buttercup why did you run when Mum talked about kids? Don't you want to have any right now?" he asked making me lift my head from my phone to look at him.

"I just couldn't help but feel shy when I heard mum talk about the whole pregnancy thing."

I explained.

"But do you want us to have a baby now?" he asked.

"Can I say something first before answering your question?" I asked him.

"Sure you can." he replied.

"It sounds so weird that you are the one talking about kids right now. Although we have talked about it before but we never talked about when we want to have one." I said smiling.

"Well I just don't think I can wait any longer. I badly want to see you swell with our pup growing inside you and I want to have a beautiful daughter or handsome son. I won't lie but am so jealous that Parker is going to be a dad in few months time. He won't stop reminding us about it whenever we are chatting in our group chat. And now Justin's mate is also pregnant." he said.

My eyes went wide when I heard the news.

"You mean Diana is pregnant? Wow who would have thought that Justin was good at what he is doing?" I thought.

"Buttercup what do you mean? I am also good in what I do. Infact am so sure that Justin hasn't fucked his mate like I have. So what are you saying? Don't forget we have been having sex without protection so who knows you might be pregnant right now." he said as he looked at the road.

I bite my lips knowing maybe he was right.

I think what he said just clicked on him because he stopped the car suddenly. If not that I has fasten my seat belt, I would have hit my head hard.

I looked at him to see if he was alright. His eyes were wide opened as he was already looking at me.

"Buttercup?"

"What is it?" I asked.

"Could it be true? That you are pregnant right now?" he asked.

"How should I know? I haven't seen any symptoms or felt anything strange with my body." I said.

He pulled me to him and began to sniff my neck.

"No you are wrong. Something is strange with your body and that is your scent. It is different. That's a sign. You know what, we are going to get pregnancy test on our way home. When we get home we will replace out if you are or if you are not." he said before he continued driving. But this time he was speeding so fast.

"Can you calm down sweetie. We can't have an accident now please." I warned him.

"Am sorry. Just that I can't wait to see the results." he said.

"What if it comes out to be negative? What would you do about that?" I asked him.

"Well if it comes out to be negative then it's still fine. We can still work hard on getting a child. Besides am still happy being with you and enjoying all you all to myself." he said smiling at me before looking back at the road.

I smiled at him. He wasn't hiding it that he wants a child. He has never hid it that he wanted one. I also want to have a child also. So if the moon goddess makes me pregnant right now, I will be really happy. But I don't know how it's going happen because he is still schooling. I just don't want things to be too stressful for him.

"What is on your mind? You don't look happy. Or don't you want to have a baby?" I heard him asked making me snap out of my thoughts.

"I want a baby just like you but I was just thinking, if we have one now, when you are in school and we are far from home things will be hard on you especially. Because you have to take care of me and then you have to concentrate with your studies. What if my pregnancy comes with so many annoying mood swings? It will so hard for you." I told him.

He smiled and held my hand with one hand and the other was on the steering.

"I am sure everything will be fine. Don't worry about anything. Just let me be worried about everything and not you. Just calm down okay buttercup? We are in this together. Let's just see what the results says." he said.

I smiled and nodded my head.

We stopped when we saw a chemist. Landon was the one who got down from the car and bought the pregnancy test. According to him I should overstress myself in going to buy it. I am not yet sure if am pregnant but his already treating me as someone who is pregnant. My dramatic mate.

He got back with a dozen pregnancy test. When I looked at him, he only smiled and he continued driving.

We got home safely. He didn't even allow me to carry anything, he just rushed to open the door for me to enter.

"Quick buttercup follow the instructions and do as they say okay. I will join you soon." he said as he went back outside to get out things.

I let out a sigh and took a cup from the kitchen. Since I was with Tina when she did her test, I already knew the basics.

I went to the bathroom and pee in the cup. I dropped the twelve pregnancy tests in them and set a timer for when to check.

After Landon was done bringing in our stuff, he sat down to wait with me.

When the timer went off I stood up and took out all the tests. I looked at them together and saw it was the same results.

"What does it say buttercup because I don't understand a thing." Landon asked looking at me.

With tears already filled in my eyes I announced the results.

"We are having a baby Landon."
