ROSIE POV

THREE YEARS LATER

I wiped my tears as I watched my eldest son standing with his head high as he addressed the people. I mean his people now.

Yes right now I am no longer the Luna and Evans is no longer the alpha of evergreen park. The new alpha and Luna are Landon and Mira.

Landon successfully graduated from alpha academy as the best student. He didn't want to be the alpha when he got back because at that time Mira had given birth to my first grand child, Jaden. So he wanted to take care of her and also spend alot of time with his

son.

When he told us, Evans and I understood what he was saying so we let him be. In everything, family first.

I looked with tears in my eyes as I watched my little babies now being rulers of the pack.

Landon and Mira were both the alpha and Luna. Calvin and Layla were Beta and Beta female although Layla still had her alpha blood. Then Luca became the gamma with Grey his mate.

Just in three years, their lives has changed and they look so different than they looked before. They were no longer the little babies which I carried the day I brought them into the world.

Just thinking about how I carried them as they were young till this moment made me emotional. I couldn't stop the tears from dropping.

"Gwanneee whyyy are you cweying? Are you hutttt?" (Granny why are you crying? Are you hurt?)

I looked down at the blue eyes of my grandson Jaden. He looked so much like Landon although he had his mum's eyes and blonde hair. He was a very adorable kid and he is so gentle just like his daddy. I couldn't help but smile although tears were falling from my

eyes.

"Am not hurt baby. I am fine don't worry." I said to him as I played with his hair.

"Bot you are cweying. You are nut phine." (But you are cweying. You are not fine)

He said looking at me with his adorable eyes as he pouted.

"Am fine my baby. I just have something inside my eyes." I lied still smiling.

"Oh nooooo. Gwanneee we need to get it out wright now. Let me blow it awey." (Oh no. Granny we need to get it out right now. Let me blow it away.) He said before holding my cheeks and drawing his head closer to mine. He began to blow my eyes. I couldn't help it. I began to laugh at his cuteness.

"Thank you Jaden baby. Granny is fine now. Nothing is in her eyes. You helped granny you are a hero." I said as I tickled him.

He began to laugh as he moved on my laps. His laugh was so cute. Infact everything about him was so cute.

"I see you both are having so much fun. Well Rosie please can you help me out? Please carry Aiden for some moments I will be back now to take him." Maria said interrupting Jaden and I moment.

I couldn't say no to her because she was finally giving me my second grandchild. Although I have been carrying baby Aiden for hours, I can't help but miss him and want to carry him again.

Baby Aiden is just eight months old. He looks like both Layla and Calvin, his parents. But unlike his mother, he is a peaceful baby just like his father when he was born.

Maria and I always take turns in carrying him because we are both his grandmothers and we love his adorable face. We sometimes argue who would carry him next.

Luca and Grey have talked to us that they have applied for adoption so they are waiting for when they will be called if a baby was available for them. I hope they get a baby soon because I won't mind to have three grand kids at once. I don't mind taking care of them all.

I sat down taking care of my two grandchildren as the party was going on. Their parents were busy greeting the people and interacting with them. Not like am complaining or anything. I'm fine and a happy woman.

"Gwanpaaaa" (Grandpa) Jaden shouted and quickly jumped down from his chair as he ran to my mate who was walking to us.

I watched as Evans knelt down and hugged him before picking him up.

"How are you doing my little peanut?" he asked with a bright smile on his face. Evans loved both Jaden and Aiden. Whenever he is free, he will always create a time to play with Jaden. That's why Mira always brings him over to our house.

"Fhine gwanpa. Do you noo that Gwanneee was cweying beecause her eyes were paining her?" (Fine grandpa. Do you know that granny was crying because her eyes were paining her?) Jaden said to his grandpa.

He can't just keep a secret. This little guy.

"Really she was crying? But what happened do her eyes?" Evans ask him but his eyes went to me. He was worried.

"She had sumtin in it. But I blow it awey." (She had something in it. But I blow it away.) Jaden answered with a proud look on his face.

"Wow you blew it away. That's my boy. You did a good job in helping your granny. I'm proud of you." Evans said as he kissed his forehead as Jaden giggled.

"Gwanpa can I pwease go to Auntie Chlowe?" (Grandpa can I please go to Auntie Chole?)

He asked with an innocent look on his face.

Evans nodded and allowed him. He ran with his short legs and headed to where Chole and her mate were sitting down.

"Why were you crying earlier baby?"

I turned to look at my mate who was now sitting so close to me. I didn't even know when he moved closer to me because my attention was on Jaden.

"Don't mind Jaden. I was only feeling emotional to see our children being leaders so I couldn't stop the tears from falling. Jaden just happened to see my tears falling. It wasn't anything serious." I explained.

"I see. When he said you were crying I thought something bad had happened." he said smiling.

"Am fine don't worry besides everything is fine. Right now we will both be at peace and we will rest from the pack work and all since we have retired." I said smiling at him.

"I am also at peace with myself right now. I have been waiting for this day to come for a very long time. I'm just glad that finally it has arrived and everything is done. At least am very sure that Landon and Mira will do a great job as alpha and Luna. They won't do anything to put the pack in a mess." he said.

"So what are we going to do now?" I asked him.

"What are we going to do how?" he asked looking confused.

"I mean what will we be doing now that we are so free." I said.

"Well we can always go on vacations just like my parents did or we will just you know stay at home all day, enjoying each others company." he replied.

"But won't you get tired of seeing me all the time?" I asked him.

"You know I can't do without you. I can never get tired of seeing you. Yes I know that years have come and gone. We have gone through a lot of stages in our lives. We fell apart but we still picked each other up and grew to be stronger. We had each other as a supporter and a helper. We endured all our hardships together. Infact I tried to imagine what life without you will be like but the more I think, the more I don't wish to live without you. Rosie I know I have said it before but I will still say it again. You my mate are my redemption. Without you I am nothing. And I promise that the day you close your eyes and leave this world, I will also close my eyes and join you too." he said looking at me with a serious look.

I smiled at him. At this age he still knows the right words to use to move my heart and make me fall in love with him over and over again.

"I love you so much Evans." I smiled.

"And I love you so much my beautiful mate." he said smiling too.

We didn't say anything to each other. We only looked at each other with a smile on our faces. Our smile was enough at this moment. But our moment was interrupted by Layla. "Mummy can I take little peanut inside? It's getting cold and I don't want him to fall sick." she said.

I nodded and passed the sleeping baby to her.

I watched as she walked inside with her child. Ever since she gave birth, Layla changed completely. Right now she acts so mature and she doesn't talk too much. Motherhood fits her so well.

"I think it's time we go inside because it's getting chilly and I'm so tired and getting sleepy already. I want to sleep with you beside me." Evans said as he traced my hand with his finger making me smile.

I have heard that when couples grows older the bond and love they had for each other reduces and no more s****l spark between them. But it's not the case with Evans and I. Our bond and love for each other is getting stronger and stronger and it is also increasing daily. We are very much s****l active but it's not always that we do it like before. But we are still happy.

We still play like kids and argue alot but at the end we solve our problems before we sleep. We are still normal couples although we are older.

"Alright let's go insi......"

I started but Mira and Landon caught my attention making me not to complete my statement.

"Good evening everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your time? Thank you for accepting us as your leaders. We promise to keep our promise to do our best to lead you all well. Well actually we have come with good news. My mate will announce it." Landon said. Now I wanted what the news is because it seems very important.

Mira stood in the front with a bright smile on her face.

"We are expecting another child." she said.

I was the first to stand up and shout for joy. I am going to have another grandchild again.
