EVANS

POV

I was bored through out the day. I missed hanging out with my friends but now that they all have mates, they have decided to abandon me like I wasn't their friend before those girls came into their life's. At least they should also give me some attention here. I decided to go and meet them to have a word with them. They have to treat me differently right now.

I went to Nate house since I knew that Smith will definitely be there. When I arrived, I was about to knock the door when it opened and Angel ran outside almost knocking me off.

"Sorry" she shouted not even bothering to stop and see if I was okay or not. What a weirdo.

Since the door was opened, there was no need to knock again so I decided to usher myself in.

I saw Nate and Smith in the sitting room. Smith looked like he was in a good mood unlike before when we were in school. I wonder what changed his mind so fast like this. "Hey you both." I said so they could notice presence.

They both jumped and turned to me with confusion on their face. They sure weren't expecting me I guess.

"Evans what are you doing here? How did you get in?" Nate asked looking at me.

"Chill man will you. I didn't break into your house. Your hype of a mate let me in by opening the door and almost knocking me down as she ran off." I said to him.

"I hope she didn't fall and injure herself. I have warned severally against running." Nate said looking worried.

Wait a minute. So he was only worried about his mate. What about me that she almost knocked down?

"Are you being serious right now? I just said your mate almost knocked me down and all you could think of is if she was hurt or something." I said to him as I sat down on a couch next to me. "Well you are a man. You can take any injury but I can't allow my mate get hurt." he said to me.

Wow I feel betrayed.

"You both are truly amazing. So you could easily forget about me only because you have a mate. Just wow. This is betrayal if you are not aware." I said to them. Smith laughed at me.

"When you replace your mate you will understand." he said to me.

Such nerve.

"Says the guy who's mate hasn't accepted him." I chuckled as I crossed my legs.

Smith laughed again. I wasn't expecting him to laugh. I mean I want him to frown or shut me up but he laughed. Am I missing something?

"Well news flash Evans, my beautiful mate has now accepted me so you are the only one who is without a mate." he said to me.

Say what now. Why do I have to be embarrassed this way? I thought.

"How did that happen? I thought she never wanted you?" I asked him nothing understanding what's happening.

"Well she was waiting for her wolf to respond so she will be sure if we are mates or not and thankfully, I didn't have to wait for long." Smith said.

"Woah I'm not happy for you. But congratulations all the same." I said to him.

Smith laughed at me.

"Sorry bro don't worry your mate will come soon so cheer up okay?" he said.

I rolled my eyes.

I also wished I had another mate coming. I will be forever grateful if the moon goddess gives me a second chance mate. But I know that's never going to happen. Ever.

"But where is your mate rushing to like that?" I asked Nate.

"She's going to Rosie's house to congratulate Maria."

Just hearing that Omega name made my blood to boil.

"Why will you both allow your mates to be friends with an Omega. I mean it doesn't make any sense." I said to them.

"Evans when will you ever learn to accept that Rosie is not a bad person. She is actually a very nice person when you get to know her. I wonder why you hate her so much." Smith said looking so serious. "She is an Omega." I stated.

"But she's also a part of your pack. So you should treat her well." Nate said.

"I will only when I replace myself a mate and become the alpha. That's the only time I will treat her well." I said.

"Wait? What do you mean by when you replace yourself a mate? Evans you don't replace yourself a mate you dummy. The moon goddess pairs you with someone. She doesn't allow you too pick." Smith said laughing at me.

He didn't know that I knew what I was saying. I'm thinking of picking a mate for myself since I can't end up with that Omega. And I'm thinking of making Juliet my mate. She's strong and I think she's going to make a great Luna. But there was no way I'm going to tell my friends about this. I rather keep it to myself till I'm ready to act on it.

"Whatever you say." I said to him.

"But serious you both should start giving me some of your time. I can't be lonely while you both have fun with your mates." I added changing topic.

"Alright don't worry. We will be there for you." Smith said.

"Well now that it's just us, what do you say we play a little video game?" Nate asked.

"BRING IT ON" Smith and I shouted.

We began to play our games with Nate being the leader when his phone rang. He picked it and spoke to the person on the other line. He suddenly stood up before hanging up. "Whats wrong Nate?" Smith asked him.

"Someone called to inform me that Angel was seen in a club drunk. I'm so going to punish her for that." Nate said as he began to look for his car keys.

"But I thought she went to see Maria except that means they are today." Smith said standing up.

They began to walk to the door leaving me inside.

"Are you coming or I lock you inside my house?" Nate said.

I quickly jumped from the couch.

"I'm coming." I said as I followed them behind.

When we went outside, I was surprised to see it was already dark. I guess we played video games for a very long time.

I entered Nate's car before he drove to the address where the club was located. As Smith followed us behind driving his own car.

When we reached, we all came down from the car and entered without being stopped by the bouncer. Well perks for having authority.

We entered to see the place was so crowded and dark. You could hardly see anyone.

Nate began to use his nose to sniff for his mate scent. I wonder how he was able to replace her when the place stink of alcohol and sweat.

He lead us to the bar and behold the three girls where there talking.

"Are you sure you want to only thank him for rescuing her?" we heard Maria asked as she laughed.

"Actually you got me. I wanted to see how handsome he is that's all." Angel said.

Nate let out a low growl which Smith and I heard. He looked so displeased.

"I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE BASTARD TO MAKE HIS FACE UGLY." he said loudly making the three girls turn. I noticed the Omega looked at me before looking away. "Nate baby your here." Angel said before she stood up and walked to Nate. I don't think Nate was in the mood for that because my man didn't smile at all.

"Yes I'm here. I can't believe you really got your self drunk." he still answered her although he was angry.

"Oh no don't scold me. I only drank to celebrate with Maria for accepting Smith as her. Smith congratulations you sure are a man." Angel said before sending a wink to Smith. I couldn't help but wonder what she meant by that. I turned to see that even Smith had a confused look on his face.

Before we knew it Maria and the Omega both started laughing. I honestly don't get what was funny to them.

"Maria and Rosie don't tell me you both are also drunk too?" Nate asked.

Can't he see clearly that they are also drunk too. I mean why will they be acting like that if they are not drunk.

"Nate stop acting like our daddy and stop scolding us already. Give us some space. Besides this is only our first time." Maria said to him.

That girl sure has mouth. She is no way close to shy or reserved.

"Noo Maria his not your daddy his my daddy. Right daddy?" Angel said.

Yup she is wasted. Nate should better take her home immediately. I feel embarrassed for him.

"That's it. I'm taking you home this instant." Nate said as he dragged his mate. Angel continued calling him daughter until they left. Poor Nate.

Smith held his mate's hand and began to walk with her. I noticed the Omega hurried to walk with them too. Guess someone doesn't want to stay with me. How nice. I feel the same way too.

We went outside and when I was close to her, my nose picked something. Since we were now outside, I could easily pick scents well.

That Omega had a male scent on her. I became so angry. How dare she? Who the f**k was she with?

My wolf stood up and began pacing in my mind causing me to have a headache.

I needed to have a word with her. I quickly stood in front of her before she could make it to Smith's car.

"We need to talk." I said to her.

"Well I don't want to talk to you." she said to me. Wow she must have really drank so much to be able to take to me like that.

"You must hear me out then." I said to her.

The next thing she did made me feel amused. She rolled her eyes at me.

"Make it fast." she said giving me orders.

I wanted to caution her but I decided against it. I went straight to the point.

"Don't hang around with men because my wolf doesn't like it and his causing me a headache because of his jealousy. For me you can whore around I don't care but for my wolf don't do it." "You are an idiot if you think I will listen to you." she said before walking away from me.

She fucking walked away from me. So unbelievable and disrespectful.

"Omega come back here. Don't you dare walk out of me. I said come here this minute." I said angrily but she ignored me and walked away.

I'm so going to revenge for her disrespecting me.
