Chapter 33

ROSIE

POV

I went outside and locked my door before heading to the forest. I went to the back of a tree and hid there as I removed my clothes and hanged them on the tree. Didn't want to walk naked back home. I let Sun take control as I shifted into my wolf. The fur color of my wolf is brown with some touch of white likes on my paws and ears. I was an average size wolf.

After shifting completely, I took a deep breath taking in all the forest scent before blowing it out. Time to run.

I took off running round. Enjoying the way the wind was hitting me gently. Running is always a time to relax. I don't think about anything as I'm am running. The only thing I focus on is my environment.

I ran and ran till I couldn't run anymore. I went to a stream that I found nearby and drank the water to quench my thirst.

I laid in front of the stream as I closed my eyes to enjoy the stillness of the environment. I didn't know when I was taking away by sleep.

I woke up to the voice of someone in my mind. When I opened my eyes, I was surprised to see the place I was. Then it clicked to me why I was there.

I heard the voice again so I decided to listen to it.

"Hello Rosie." I found out it was Mr Drew's voice I was hearing.

"Hello Mr Drew."

"I know I'm not supposed to call you since you are on leave but please I really need your help. Today is a customer filled day and things are not easy to handle and we need an extra hand. That is if you don't mind." he said.

"Oh I don't mind at all. I will come over to your place." I said to him. There was no way I will say no to him after everything he has done for me.

"Ohhh thank you so much Rosie. I have to go now and attend to some customers." he said before I felt him leave my mind.

I stood up and dusted my fur before running back to the tree where I hid my clothes. I quickly shifted to my himself form and wore my clothes back before rushing back home to change my dress and wear some trousers and also pick up my bag.

It took me twenty minutes to be able to finish up and make it to Mr Drew's restaurant. He was right. Today was a day filled with so many customers. The tables were all filled with people. I wonder what's happening today?

"Hello everyone." I said to them immediately I reached the counter.

"Thank goodness you are here Rosie. Quickly go and drop you bag and join us serve this people." Steph said to me as he rushed with a tray on his hand to serve someone I guess.

I looked at Mr Drew who was very busy to notice that I had arrived already. I quickly went to change to uniform before rushing out, grabbing a pen and book to get the customers order. After writing them down, I took them to Mr Drew who now notices me. I gave him a smile as he turned mine. We didn't have time to talk so we rushed back to continue our work.

I was serving customers and also taking their orders too. Work wasn't easy at all but the good thing is I was given tips and the money I got was a large amount.

I worked till it was evening. By that time the lecturers reduced. I'm very sure that Mr Drew got so much money because he sold a lot of food to the customers. It was finally 8. It means time to close.

"Rosie I can't thank you enough for coming here to help out. I'm truly grateful." Mr Drew said.

"Its fine. You can call me anytime whenever I'm on leave. Besides I'm will soon be back so don't you worry." I said to him smiling.

"You better come back fast. Without you work is so tiring." Steph said.

I laughed at him.

"You are so lazy do you know that?" I teased him.

"I'm not lazy come on Rosie don't say that. You yourself know very well the number of customers we get to deal with everyday. It's not an easy task at all." he said.

"But it's not like you are working for free, you actually paid for it so calm down will you. And you better go home and rest. You don't look so good." I said to him smiling.

I went inside the changing room to remove my uniform as I was getting ready to head home.

When I went out, Mr Drew called me. I walked to him and to my greatest surprise he dropped a flask on the table.

"Take this and eat something at home. Also take this for helping out today." he said placing an envelope too beside the flask. I looked at him and then at the flask and the envelope.

"Mr Drew thank you so much but you don't have to do this. I can accept the food but I can't accept the envelope. I got enough tips today so it's fine." I said to him.

"I know you got a lot of tips but I just want to give you this also to praise your hard work. Please accept it Rosie. I'm not going to collect it back from you." he said firmly not giving rooms for argument. I had no other choice but to collect them. "Thank you so much Mr Drew. I'm truly grateful for the money and the food." I thanked him with a sincere heart.

"Its fine Rosie. Now hurry up and go home. You need to rest from today's stress." he said to me.

I smiled at him before bidding him and Steph good bye then I left the restaurant.

I was so happy that I couldn't stop smiling on my way home. I began to think what I was going to use the money for. If I would add the tips I got with the money that Mr Drew gave me, it's going to be quite a lot. I decided not to spend it. Instead I will save it to solve any problem in the future.

I finally arrived my home. I knew Maria was back because I could see the lights were on when I was sure I switched them off in the morning.

I opened the door and entered only to see something horrifying. I quickly closed my eyes and turned around.

"Seriously you guys can you not scare my innocent self with such act." I said to the two horny dogs who were making out on my couch. Oh my poor innocent couch.

I could hear Maria and Smith laughing at me.

"Rosie can you stop being dramatic. We were only making out and not you know having sex so what's the need of making noise." I heard Maria say.

I quickly turned to see if she was actually the one talking or maybe it was Angel because I know that Maria is more reserved and shy unlike Angel. And to my greatest surprise, it wasn't Angel who was standing in front of me but Maria. "Smith what have you done to my best friend because this is not the shy Maria I know." I asked turning to the person I was asking my question to.

"Rosie I also have no idea also. I'm surprised as you are because she so outspoken and bold. I saw that today at my parents place. Also she and my mother teamed together is not something you want to experience." he answered. "Hello can you both stop talking like I'm not standing right in front of you all." Maria said putting her hands on her waist.

"Anywhere Rosie where are you coming from by this time of the night?" she asked me.

"Well I'm just coming from Mr Drew's restaurant. He had so many customers and needed my help so I went there to help out. I came with some food anyways." I said raising the flask up. "Food yeyyy." Smith said smirking.

"Smith you can go home now, thanks for staying behind to watch over me when I was alone but Rosie is back now so you are free to go. I will be fine on my own now." Maria said. "But what about the food? Can't I stay behind and join us you both?" he asked with a pout on his face.

I couldn't say anything as I watched the two love birds entertain me.

"No you can't join us. The food is only met for those living under this roof and your just a visitor so thanking you for visiting you can go now." Maria said.

"Sweetheart are you serious right now?" Smith asked her holding his chest pretending like he was in pain.

"I love you too sweetheart. Thank you for today. You can go now. Sleep well okay." she said to him.

"It's fine. I'm leaving sweetheart." Smith said as he turned to leave.

"Are you going to leave without kissing me?"Maria said.

My eyes went wide when Smith quickly turned like he was waiting for the opportunity. He rushed to her and pulled her for a kiss.

"Urggh you both keep it PG please. I can't be watching this." I groaned.

Smith pulled away smiling.

"Whatever Rosie. Goodnight you girls." he said before leaving.

Maria turned to look at me. My eyebrows were already up.

"Tell me the truth Maria have you and Smith had s*x?" I asked her.

"Not yet Rosie. Don't worry we won't have sex on your couch if that's what's your thinking of." she said smiling.

"Better don't even try it because my house is pure." I said to her.

"Alright fine, I have heard you ma'am. Now can we go to the dinning and eat already. The aroma coming from that flask is so mouthwatering." she said.

"But I thought your just coming from smith's house?" I asked her not understanding why she was so hungry already.

"Well we came back since. And because you weren't at home, Smith stayed behind so I won't be alone. And it was since I had anything in my stomach. Now let's go." she said as she grabbed the flask from my hands as she ran to the kitchen. I smiled at her. It was good to have her around than to come back to an empty house.

I walked to the kitchen so that she won't cheat me by dishing more food and leaving little for me.
