Chapter 34

The day I dread the more has come once again. Nope it's not because it's Monday, it's the day my parents died. Today is their 8th remembrance day. Today is one of my worst days in the year. I mostly wanted to be alone and just say indoor without seeing anyone. But I couldn't stay in my house. Why?

Because I have to go to school.

I slowly woke up and went to have my bath. After I was done bathing, I went to pick outfit to wear. Today wasn't a colourful day for me so I decided to go with a dark color that is a black hoodie and a black jean with a black boot.

I brushed my hair and packed it to a messy ponytail and didn't bother to apply any make up not even a lip gloss or mascara.

I picked my bag and left my room as I walked to the sitting room. I saw Maria already sitting down pressing her phone as she was waiting for me. Yup Smith bought her a phone.

She looked up at me and smiled.

"Good morning Rosie."

"Morning." I said dryly. I couldn't return her smile and couldn't wish her a proper good morning because to me the morning wasn't good at all.

I walked to the fridge and opened it. I took a bottle of water and an apple. This is going to be my breakfast and maybe lunch also.

"Hey Rosie are you okay? You look a little down. Is everything okay?" Maria asked as she stood behind me. She followed me to the kitchen.

"I'm fine. If your ready, let's head to school." I said. I didn't feel like telling her anything and I would be grateful if she doesn't bother me about whatever is bothering me. "I'm ready." she said.

We walked to school together. Maria was the only one talking. I was quiet through out the journey.

We arrived the school gates. We walked inside as we headed to the school building.

Before leaving the road, a loud honk startled us making us jump to the other side of the road as a car drove pass us in full speed. I stood with a frown on my face as I watched the car park in front of the school building. My frown deepen when I saw the arrogant jerk step down from the car.

I shouldn't be surprised. He almost killed me with his bike remember.

"Can't you drive properly?" I heard myself ask in anger.

He stopped walking and turned to look at me with surprise on his face. He turned behind and looked around before pointing at himself.

"Omega are you talking to me?" he asked looking confused.

"Of course yes I'm talking to you. You are the one who drives like a mad jerk so yes I'm talking to you." I said to him boldly not in the mood to be scared of him. To hell with him. I'm so pissed off that he spoiled my already ruined morning.

"Did you just call me a mad jerk?" he asked.

"Yes I did. That's what you get for driving carelessly. This is not the first time you almost wanted to hit me. If you don't really know how to drive then abstain from driving and hire someone to be your driver." I said before walking off leaving Maria who later noticed I was going before she ran to meet me.

She didn't say a word to me and I was happy that she didn't because I wasn't in the mood to tell her anything.

I went to my classroom and sat on my seat. I blocked my eyes with my earpieces as I blocked the noise. I closed my eyes as I was lost in my thoughts.

I felt a tap on my laps. I opened my eyes to see that it was Maria who touched me to inform me that the teacher was in class.

Throughout the lesson, I didn't pay attention to what the teacher said. I didn't write any note as I just sat down looking forward but my mind wasn't on what was in front of me.

It was now time for lunch. I sat down on my seat as Maria stood up.

"Hey Rosie let's go grab lunch." she said.

"You go ahead I'm not hungry." I said to her.

"But you only had an apple and drank a bottle of water. You can't say your not hungry." she said looking at me with worry on her face.

"I'm not hungry. Just go ahead and let me be alone." I said to her.

She stood for a while just looking at me before she let out a sigh.

"Alright fine. But I will come back with some snacks for you. And I'm not taking no for an answer." she said before walking away.

I let out a little smile. She just reminded me of my grandmother. She knew that days like this I don't like eating so she will insist to bring some snacks or a light food which she will force me to eat.

I miss her too. I wonder what would have happened to me 8 years ago if she didn't take me in and show me love. I might be very miserable.

I kept sitting down listening to the music coming from my earpiece. I looked around to see I was the only one who was still in the classroom.

But it wasn't long before Maria came back and she actually brought guests with her. Oh great.

"Hey Rosie." Angel said smiling before she sat in front of me.

They all held snacks on their hands and they all dropped it on the desk.

"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be eating at the cafeteria right now?" I asked them.

"Well we decided to skip cafeteria today and have some snacks with you if you don't mind." Smith said.

I wanted to tell them I mind. I just wanted to be alone. But I couldn't. I mean they all skipped lunch just to stay with me. In some kind of way, I felt touched that I had someone who actually cared about me. "But will you all be okay just eating snacks?" I asked them.

"Don't worry about us. We will be definitely replace. Now let's eat before the lunch break will be over." Angel said as she opened a cookies bag.

I had no other choice but to join them to eat with them. Angel, Maria and Smith were the only ones talking. Nate only answered some questions once in a while. Meanwhile I on the other hand was so quiet. But I actually felt okay just watching them joke around. I found myself smiling sometimes. After we finished all the snacks they brought, we sat down together waiting for the bell to ring.

"Hey Rosie. Let me share a little piece of advice to you. No matter what the problem is, No matter how big or little it is, No matter how easy or difficult it is, don't forget to eat. Food will help you to think well on how to solve whatever problem it is your facing. Remember whatever the problem is, it's only temporary. It's just for a few minutes or hours or maybe days after that everything will come back to normal." Nate said to me.

I smiled at him. He truly behaves like an elder brother to me.

"Alright thank you for your advice and for coming here." I said to them.

"Your welcome. Don't worry you can tell us what the problem is whenever you are ready. We won't rush you okay?" Angel said.

I looked to them as I smiled. Angel, Nate and Smith stood up and left to their classes leaving me and Maria alone.

From no where, Juliet banged my desk with her hands.

"You bitch. Why would you speak to my boyfriend like that?" she shouted.

For a second I was surprised and then confused to what sge meant by that. I mean I didn't know she has a boyfriend.

"What boyfriend are you talking about sorry? I didn't know you had one in the first place. And what do you mean by I talked to him? I don't even know him." I asked her.

"Of course you know him. Your only denying it because you are jealous of me." she said flipping her hair.

I let out a little laugh.

"Jealous? Of who? You? I can never be jealous of you so speak who the heck is your freaking boyfriend or you leave my sight." I said to her coldly.

I just wanted to be alone and she bothering me with her unnecessary drama is so annoying. I don't care if I'm an Omega and I'm talking to her rudely, she should know when to give me space and when to disturb me.

"Alright since you claim you don't know who my boyfriend is, I will tell you. It's Evans. He told me how you talked rudely at him this morning. You should learn to know your place bitch. Don't forget your nothing but an Omega." Juliet said. I rolled my eyes.

Really now. So they are dating? Nice one Evans. Out of all the women out there, you decide to go for Juliet. He sure does not have any taste in women.

"Thanks for the reminder now can you get out of my face." I said before putting back my earpiece and shutting my eyes.

I heard her let out a growl as I felt her coming close to me. I quickly opened my eyes and avoided her claws from injuring my face.

She was about to hit me when Maria stayed in front of me to shield me.

"Juliet don't try to bring so much attention to your self and get punished. Just stop this right now and go cool yourself down somewhere." I heard Maria tell her.

"I don't care. Get away from my face you rogue and let me deal with that disrespectful brat." Juliet said.

I saw red when I heard what she called Maria. She can call me different names but not my friends.

I pulled Maria from my front as I jumped on her and began to punch her face.

I shouldn't be doing this but I was really angry.

I kept punching her ugly face and the sound of her scream were music to my eyes.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE."
