Chapter 52

ROSIE

POV

I sat down and looked around my house. It sure felt so lonely without Maria around. I miss her already. But it's for the best.

I sat down on my couch and ate popcorn as I watched movie. I didn't have any thing to do so I just sat there watching my romantic movie.

I don't know how long I spent there but before I could go to my room, I ended up sleeping in my sitting room.

It was a call that woke me up. I lazily opened my eyes and picked my phone. I picked it without checking the caller.

"Hello" I said yawning.

"Hello Rosie. I'm sorry did I wake you up from sleep?"

My eyes opened immediately when I heard the soft voice of the Luna. I quickly sat up.

"No I'm awake already Luna. Good eveni.... I mean good morning." I greeted.

I heard her laugh at the background.

"If you are sleeping, I can talk to you later." she said.

"No don't worry Luna I'm awake." I said quickly.

"Alright then if you say so. Well I called you because I need you to do something for me if you don't mind."

"Alright then but what could that be?" I asked her.

"I need you to go with me somewhere. That's if you are free." she said.

I thought about it. No school today and my shift at Mr Drew is in the afternoon so my morning was free.

"I'm free this morning." i said to her.

"Great then I will be expecting you in my house. Thank you Rosie." she said before hanging up.

I lazily stood up from the couch and walked to my room. I quickly took my bath and dressed into a long pink simple gown. Well I need to dress presentable since I was going out with the Luna. I have to be of my good behavior.

I wore a white sandals and packed my hair into a high pony tail. I looked at the mirror and saw I didn't look so bad. Infact I looked different and beautiful unlike how I use to look. At least I know this is presentable enough.

I walked out of my house and locked my door before I walked to the alpha's house.

When I arrived, I knocked the door. Someone who was an Omega opened the door and with a smile on her face ushered me inside the house.

She lead me to the sitting room and excused herself as she was going to let the Luna know I had arrived.

I sat down alone in the sitting room feeling weird. My heart couldn't stop beating. This was Evans home and the possibility of seeing him was high. I didn't want to see him because I didn't know how to look at him ever since what happened to him and Sun. I waited for some minutes. My palms were already wet because of how I have been rubbing it unconsciously.

"Oh my apologies Rosie for making you wait." the voice of Luna Isabella startled me. I turned to see her looking so beautiful and young as ever. She never disappoints to keep her young looks even though she had given birth to a grown up. "It's fine Luna." I said smiling.

"I hope you don't mind. I made cupcakes last night and wanted to give it to the children in the orphanage. I decided to bring you alone so we can bond because it's been long we had sometime together." she said smiling. That's really thoughtful of her.

"Thank you Luna for the invitation." I said to her.

"No problem. Before we go please can you do something for me. I need you to go upstairs, enter the second room on the left wing and ask for my car keys please." she said.

Before I could protest, she had already left the sitting room. I let out a sigh. There was no way I could disobey her. But I don't get why she wanted me to go upstairs. I thought it's not everyone who is allowed to climb the stairs. Well I'm lucky she trusts me enough to allow me go upstairs.

But I just hope I don't come in contact with that arrogant jerk. I can't face him right now.

I left the sitting room and walked slowly to where the staircase was. I stood for a while and took a deep breath before I raised my leg and climbed on stair. I continued to climb and climb till I reached the wings floor. I turned to the left wing and began to walk to the second room.

I couldn't help but admire the hallway. It was so beautiful and clean. I smiled as I breathe in the sweet fragrance.

I reached the front door of the second room. I knocked the door slowly and waited for some time but I heard nothing. No response. Nothing.

I decided to enter and check for the keys myself. Maybe it was on the dressing table. If I didn't see it, I will just go and tell the Luna I didn't see anything.

I slowly opened the door and entered the room. The room design was cool. The bed sheets was black and the curtains too was black. The walls were painted ash in color.

I couldn't help myself as I stood and admired the room. The room was so beautiful and comfy.

Although something didn't feel right. The scent.

Yes the scent didn't feel right. It felt so familiar.

Wait a minute. Don't tell me. Am I in Evans room?

Shit I need to get out of here fast.

I turned to leave when a door opened making me halt from moving. I slowly turned with my heart beating so fast.

I felt like crumbling into the ground when my eyes met the dark eyes that I didn't want to see.

Yup I was looking at Evans.

I wanted to look elsewhere but unfortunately for me as I looked down, my eyes met his bare chest that was wet. And his lower part was covered with a towel. That was when it hit me. He just finished bathing.

My eyes opened wide then I quickly used my hand to cover my eyes.

"I'mmmm sorrryyyy. IIIII didn't mean to.... erm... invade your privacy. I'm sorry" I stammered.

I turned to leave when like a flash, he was right in front of me.

"Not so fast Omega. Where do you think your going to? I want to know what your doing here in my room." he said looking at me with a look that I can't place.

"Well ah Luna Isabella I mean your mother sent me to get her car keys here." I said quickly. I didn't want to stammer and look like a fool in front of him.

"Hmm is that so? Are you sure your not here to see me? Because last I remember,my mother's car keys are not kept her in my room." he said raising an eye brow up.

Wait what? Did the Luna deceive me? No I don't think so. She won't do that. Right?

"I'm not here to see you. If you can excuse me please I need to leave now." I said as I tired to walk pass him but he blocked my path.

I let out a sigh and raised my head to look at him but due to how close he was, my eyes met with his chest.

I must say his chest looks wow. He sure was built and.... Rosie put yourself together. You shouldn't be thinking about that right now.

I cleared my throat and raised my head high to look at his face.

"Can you please excuse me. I have somewhere to be right now." I said to him.

He didn't say anything and he didn't move an inch. He kept on looking at my face. I was confused what was wrong with him. I was about to talk to him when he whispered so low but I heard him so well because of how close we were. "Your eyes are so beautiful."

I was surprised when I heard him say that.

It was like something brought him back to reality. He shaked his head and frowned.

"This should be the last time you will step into my bedroom you hear me Omega. Now get out." he said coldly.

Yup the arrogant jerk is back.

I rolled my eyes at him. No way will I allow him talk down on me.

"Well Incase you have forgotten, I wanted to leave since but you blocked my path. So don't talk like I want to be here. I don't want to be next to you." I said to him with a frown on my face too.

His expression changed to surprise before he quickly covered it up.

"I see you now have guts to talk to me the way you like. Is that it?" he asked.

"Well I don't care what you do to me but I will never let you talk down on me or bully me again." I said to him.

"I see you no longer have respect for me again." he looked amused.

"I only give respect to those who deserve it and trust me you don't deserve it." I said coldly.

I can't respect someone who caused me nothing but pain.

"Now excuse me I need to leave here. Seeing you is enough to ruin my mood. But I can't let my day end bad because of you because you are not worth it at all." I said to him before I pushed him. I was surprised that I was able to push him from my front. I quickly rushed out of his room and shut the door.

I rushed to the sitting room like I was chased. When I sat down on the couch, I held my beating my heart. That was a close call. I thought.

The Luna entered the sitting room.

"Hey Rosie are you okay?" she asked me.

"You look like you ran for miles. What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing Luna. Actually it seems you directly me to the wrong room." I said to her.

"Wrong room? Are you sure you went to the second room on the right wing?" she asked.

Wait did she just say right wing? I can swear I heard her say left wing earlier. Or did I get deceived by my eyes?

"I'm sorry Luna. I entered the wrong room." I apologized.

She smiled.

"No problem. I will go get the keys quickly." she said and left.

I couldn't help but be bothered. Did she really say left wing or right wing? I know I heard left wing? So why is she changing it now?

I can't seems to wrap my head around anything. I wonder what she was thinking.
