ROSIE POV

"But under one condition. He is to accept you as his mate and you Rosie must come live here." those words kept ringing in my head repeatedly as everywhere was silent.

Evans hasn't said a word surprisingly. I was expecting him to flare up but he was silent. Was it a good thing or bad thing. I hope his not ready to accept his parents orders. We can't stand each other so there is no way I will stay here. He should speak up right now. "Evans did you hear what I just said?" Alpha Bryan asked.

Evans was silent for a while before he let out a sigh.

"Yes dad I heard you."

“So? Do you accept my condition or not?" alpha Bryan asked.

I was waiting for him to say no when his response shocked me.

"Yes I accept your condition dad." he said.

I turned to look at him. I searched his face to see if he was actually joking or something but nothing. He actually meant what he was saying.

I'm so doomed. This is not what I want. But I couldn't open my mouth to speak a word. I mean I can't question the alpha's decisions.

"Then that's final. Rosie you can go home and start packing your things. From now hence forth this is your home." alpha Bryan said smiling at me.

"I'm sorry sir is it necessary for me to come stay here. I mean I'm okay where I am." I said softly so it won't sound like I was being rude.

"We know you are okay where you are but Rosie you are the Luna of this pack. You were chosen by the moon goddess so you are meant to stay here." Luna Isabella said smiling. She wasn't frowning anymore. It seems like she loved the idea of me staying over more. "Sorry to say but I'm sorry Luna I'm no Luna. I can't be a Luna." I said to her.

"Nonsense. Rosie I have noticed you closely ever since I has assumptions of you being his mate. I know you will do an excellent work as the Luna of evergreen pack. I watched how you took care of the children in the orphanage. You did a great job with them. Rosie you can't avoid this." she said.

I let out a sigh. There was no way I can escape this.

"Sorry but I will love to request a favour from you." I said to them.

"Alright let's hear your request." alpha Bryan said.

"Can I please not pack today. I want to spend the night in my house." I begged.

"But..." Luna Isabella started.

"Bella don't worry I got this. Rosie you can stay there for night. It's already dark so you can just sleep over then tomorrow you are to come here." he said.

I nodded. I knew it was final and there was no way I could ask for more days.

Evans and I were finally dismissed.

Luna Isabella ordered Evans to take me home since it was very late. She still wasn't in talking terms with him and it was so obvious.

We both left the office and walked out of the house. Evans went to get his car while I stood at the front door with my mind clouded with so many thoughts.

A horn brought me back from my thoughts and I looked up to see Evans was waiting for me already.

I opened the door and entered. The ride to my house was a quiet one. No one made a noise. I need Evans to say something but he wasn't saying anything.

When he stopped the car in front of my house, I decided I will do the talking instead.

"Why did you accept the offer your father gave? I thought you didn't want me." I asked him.

He raked his hand on his hair as he shut his eyes for a minute before opening them.

"Do you think I'm ready to kiss my alpha title goodbye all because of you?" he asked me in a cold voice.

Yup the arrogant jerk that I know is finally back. Oh I missed him. I rolled my eyes. Yes I was being sarcastic right now.

"I thought as much. But don't act like it's my fault. I just don't understand why I'm to come stay with you. You should have stopped your father when he said that." I said to him.

"Like I had a choice. Look Omega I don't care about what you think right now. Just do what my father said. I can't lose my alpha title and also think of Axel too. Your wolf said I should think of him and that's exactly what I'm doing so just stick to it." he said leaving no room for argument.

I let out a sigh. I have no other choice then. I came down from his car. I didn't even bother to bid him farewell not like he cared for one or something. I walked straight into my house.

Immediately I entered and shut the door, I let the homely scent welcome me. That was when it hit me. I fell to the floor and released my tears. I can't believe I was going to leave this house. I was so used to staying here as it had nothing but happy memories. I don't want to leave everything behind. It's too early to do that.

I cried till I could cry no more. I picked myself up and walked slowly to my bedroom. I fell on the bed without changing my clothes. I wrapped myself with my blanket and continued my cry from where I stopped.

I can't imagine how tomorrow is going to be. I just wish the day will go slowly. I will be very grateful. I didn't want to see the next day.

I kept thinking of meaningless ways to escape my misery but as I said earlier all of the ideas I came up with was all useless. I had no other choice at all. I was at the dead end.

I kept on thinking on how to get out of these when I finally shut my eyes to sleep.

I woke up to someone banging my door very loud like the person wanted to break down my door.

I stood up from my bed and walked slowly to the sitting room. I lazily opened the door with my right hand as I was rubbing my eyes with my left hand.

The moment I opened my door, I was pushed aside. I opened my eyes wide to see who just entered and was surprised to see a fuming Angel pacing inside my house. I closed the door and went to her. "Angel what's wrong? Is everything alright?" I asked her.

"No Rosie nothing is alright. Why didn't you tell us?" she asked.

She got me confused there. Tell them about what exactly. What was she talking about. I thought. I had no idea what she meant.

I was about to ask her what she meant when I heard a knock on my door but this time it was softer than that of Angel.

I wonder why I'm having unexpected visitors this early morning. I wonder who it is this time.

I opened the door and saw Maria. She quickly entered the house and closed the door.

"Rosie are you alright? I came immediately I heard what happened." she said looking so worried.

Okay what is going on? What are they talking about?

"Can you girls explain to me why you are acting this way this early morning?" I asked them.

"Rosie we know everything. We heard what happened." Maria said.

"What did you hear? You both are confusing me."

"That Evans is your mate." Angel said.

I kept quiet as I looked at them in shock. How is it that the news travelled so fast?

"How did you replace out?" I asked them.

"I heard it from Nate. He told me this morning that he and Evans had a few drinks and he told them you are his mate. How is it that we never noticed it even for a second? I mean he has been nothing but mean to you which is quite confusing when you both are mate. And the fact that you hid it from us really hurts Rosie. I thought we were friends." Angel said looking at me with a sad look on her face.

"Angel you need to calm down alright. You girls need to sit down to hear this. I'm guessing you didn't hear the whole story." I said to them.

They both sat down and I sat too.

"Okay where do I start from? Alright yes it's true Evans is my mate but the reason why I didn't tell you girls was because I was under a command not to tell anyone." I said to them.

"Wait a minute? Why will he command you not to tell anyone? I'm confused." Angel asked.

"Because he rejected me the moment he found out we were mates."

Maria let out a gasp as Angel let out a growl.

"That freaking bastard. I'm going to deal with him myself. How dare he reject you? Why will he do such a thing? I'm going to rip him apart. Alpha or not I don't give a damn. He is an idiot for causing you so much pain." Angel said and from her voice I knew she was very angry.

I couldn't help but feel cared that she might shift or maybe do something bad.

I quickly mind link Nate to come over because only him could calm her down.

"Angel you need to calm down. I'm fine okay. I'm still alive and standing strong." I said trying to calm her down a bit before Nate comes.

The next thing she did confused the shit out of me. She burst into tears.

"You are so strong indeed Rosie. I can't imagine what you went through. You have been through a lot. I can't help myself but feel bad for you." she said as she was crying.

I didn't understand why she was so emotional. I turned to Maria for help only to see her wiping her tears also.

"You girls should please stop crying. Seriously I'm fine." I said to them but my words didn't stop them.

Finally I heard the door open. I didn't lock it earlier. Nate and Smith entered together. They both rushed to their mates and hugged her. I watched in silence as they spoke softly into their ears and slowly Maria and Angel calmed down.

"So Rosie, what are you going to do now?" Maria asked me.

"Well I'm going to pack my stuffs and go to the alpha's house." I answered.

"Huh? Why will you go there?" she asked.

"I'm going to be living there from now onward." I said looking down.

"What? Says who?" Angel said glaring.

"My dad." a different voice answered

I turned to see who just answered. I was surprised to see him here. Why was he here in the first place?

Before I could say a word, Angel rushed to him.
