Chapter 64

ROSIE

POV

Ever since Evans left since in the afternoon, he hasn't returned yet. Don't get me wrong, I am not missing him or worried about him it's just that it was really getting late. Or maybe he was going to sleep outside and not return back home tonight. I stood up and changed into a big top and shorts. That way I can sleep better.

I used one of Evans blanket because I saw two on his bed and I'm sure there is no way he is actually going to use the two at once.

I spread it on the floor and laid down. I rolled looking for a way to be comfortable but it wasn't walking at all. It felt so uncomfortable as hell. I'm sure that I was really going to wake up with a back ache if I really sleep on the floor. I tried to sleep but I just couldn't sleep.

I couldn't take this anymore. I stood up and picked the blanket from the floor. I laid on Evans bed and covered myself with blanket. Now this feels so nice having a bed under you.

I don't care if he comes and see me on his bed. Who knows maybe he wasn't coming back this night so can do whatever I feel like. But if I'm caught simple I will only apologize. At least I have rested for a while.

I smiled as I was enveloped with his scent which was on his bedsheets. I shouldn't be smiling but it actually relaxed me. Before I knew it I fell into a deep slumber.

I opened my eyes and found myself inside a moving car. I looked around and saw myself sitting at the back seat. I wasn't alone in the back seat. There was a young girl sitting beside me. She was playing with her teddy bear and didn't even notice my presence. I looked up and saw two people sitting in the front seat. The driver was the man while the person beside him was a woman. I remember vividly what was going on right now.

My body began to shake like I had a seizure. My heart kept beating fast. I knew what was going to happen next. But I didn't want to be here. I didn't want to watch it replay right in front of my eyes. No please I need to get out of here first.

I tried to open the door but it was refusing to open. I tried and tried as tears began to fall from my face. I can't be here, I need someone to help me. I need to get out of here immediately.

I opened my mouth to scream for help but no sound came out from my mouth. I couldn't stop myself from crying. My heart was aching me badly.

I looked to the front and saw where the car was heading too. The more it kept moving, the more I wanted to get out of this car.

I looked in front and saw a bright light coming right next to the car.

'That's it. It's going to happen again and no one is going to safe me. I'm all alone. I have no one.' I thought as my tears kept.

I closed my eyes waiting for the impact when I felt my body shaking. I was confused and opened my eyes to see why my body was shaking when my eyes came in contact with a dark eyes looking at me with anger.

"Finally you are awake. Now can you give a better explanation on what the fuck are you doing on my bed? 1 thought I made it clear for you not too come close to my bed. You should...."

I didn't let him finish as I jumped on him hugging him so tightly. I knew he was angry but I couldn't help but be thankful to him. He just saved me from seeing my parents accident happen right in front of my eyes once again. He might not know what he had done to me but I know better that he just saved my mental state of mind from falling into depression again.

"Erm Rosie can you remove your hands from me? I think the hug is enough." I heard him say.

Two things surprised me.

One, he didn't raise his voice when he said that. Two he called my name. He didn't call me Omega as he used to but he called my name.

I couldn't do anything as I slowly pulled away from him. I kept looking at him right in the eyes trying to understand what just happened right now. Why was he sounding differently?

"Can you stop looking at me and answer my question?""He asked me again.

"Well the ground was uncomfortable and I needed to sleep badly. Besides I thought you weren't coming over again that's why I decided to use your bed." I finally answered.

"I see. But next time don't you ever touch me again." he said as he turned to leave.

"Wait are you going out again? Are you not going to sleep in this room?" I asked him.

"Why will I sleep on the bed you just slept on? I will only sleep there when the bedsheets is changed." he said before leaving.

I don't understand him this night. Even his last statement didn't sound offensive like before. He didn't sound cold at all. Or was he sick or something? Or is he acting or pretending?

"No Rosie he isn't sick or acting." Sun said yawning.

"Are you sure because it's very unusual of him to act this way." I said to her.

"As surprising as it seems, Axel told me that he actually left the room because he wanted you to sleep on the bed and his actually sleeping in the next room."

"Huh?? Your lying right. The Evans I know will never do such a thing to me. He doesn't care about me." I said to her.

"I know that too. But my head is still trying to replace answers to what his problem is actually. Axel told me they were still in the gym when they felt your fear. I was surprised when he said that before he could take control, Evans began to run to you himself. He was also surprised too."

I was confused and shocked at the same time when I heard this. It sounded so unreal to my ears.

"I can't say he has changed or something but he looked a bit worried. At least let's be grateful to him for waking you up before you saw the main scene." Sun said softly.

I let out sigh."You are right. He actually came right when I needed him. But I won't fall for that. I don't know what tricks he has on his sleeves. I need to be very careful around him." I said.

"Forget about him Rosie. Tell me, do you need company right now or you will go back to sleep?"

I smiled at my wolf. She was being careful with me because she knew me better.

"Sun go back to sleep. Your voice sounds tired. Don't mind me I'm fine so go and rest."

"How will I be able to sleep after what just happened? I can't sleep when I know you won't sleep." she said.

"Don't worry about me. It's 4 already, I can go downstairs and look for something to do to ease my mind." I tried to convince her.

"Alright then if you say so. But I will watch you first until I'm sure your doing well before I go to sleep." she said. I rolled my eyes and smiled.

What did I tell you, she loves to act like a mom and she treats my like a little pup. But I don't think I can go through anything without her.

I stood up from the warmth of the bed. I looked for a track trouser to wear because I can't walk around the alpha's house in shorts. No way.

I left the room and tiptoe silently downstairs so no one will hear me. I was about to go the living room when I noticed the lights in the kitchen where on. Seems like someone was inside.

I was curious to know who it was. Maybe it was thief who knows?

I walked slowly to the door and peeped inside. I was surprised to see the Luna inside moving round the kitchen. I decided to let her be but clumsy me hit the door before I turned fully. I quickly shut my eyes in fear. "Who is there?" I heard her ask from inside.

Well I'm bursted already so I should just enter and say hi.

I opened the door and smiled.

"Good morning Luna. I'm really sorry if I disturbed you. Believe me I was snooping around. I just wanted to stay in the living room when I saw the lights on and thought to check maybe it was a thief. I'm sorry." I kept ranting. What's wrong with me? I thought I agreed to just say hi only to her.

She laughed at me.

"Rosie you don't have to explain anything. Come inside."

I slowly walked inside.

"So I'm guessing your not used to sleeping in a place that is not your home right?" she asked.

"Yes something like that."

"Don't worry. I'm sure you will adapt well soon. Anyway since you can't sleep, why don't you join me to make cookies that's if you want to." she said.

My face light up immediately.

"I love to make cookies."

It's better making cookies than just sitting down thinking. Besides baking is fun.

"Alright then let's get to work." she said smiling.

Together we prepared the ingredients and created beautiful shapes before putting them in the oven to bake. Now all we have to do is wait.

We sat down together just looking at the oven. I have to say, baking with the Luna is so much fun.

"So Rosie how are you feeling? I want you to be sincere with me." she asked me.

"I'm fine Luna." I answered her.

"Are you sure you're fine now? When you entered, I knew so well that you weren't so fine. You had something bothering you."

I smiled at her.

"I was down then but making cookies made me so happy. I'm really fine now Luna."

"Alright then. But if you need anything whatever it is, let me know my dear. Now just see me as your second mum okay?"

I smiled at her kindness. She sure was a good person. I want to be just like her.

"So you have finally accepted to be the Luna right?" Sun loud voice and words startled me.

I'm in trouble. There is no way I can take back my words now because Sun won't let me. What have I done to myself.
