Chapter 77

ROSIE POV

Immediately the bell rang, I rushed to tell Evans to go home without me. He looked confused for a while but when he saw Maria and Angel behind me, he understood. Angel took Nate's car and made him go back home with either Evans or Smith his choice. We entered the car and Angel began to drive us to the shopping mall. The ride there was so fun. Angel played music on a very loud volume. We couldn't stop jumping and singing in the car. It was like we were going on a girls outing.

When we arrived the shopping mall, we quickly went to the section where female clothes where sold. That was when the real stress started. I was made to try so many clothes. Angel and Maria made sure I tried on all the clothes that they picked for me. I won't lie so clothes were so beautiful and I liked them while some are just well I reserve my comment.

We spend the whole afternoon and evening shopping. It was dark already when we were finally done and have paid for the clothes. I was able to buy some cute tops that weren't big like my regular also they were colourful unlike my normal dark colors. I got some jeans that were not so baggy. Then I bought some beautiful gowns that I have never dreamt of wearing myself. Thanks to my friends who selected the best of me. I don't think I would select such clothes if I was alone. Truth be told was I actually loved the clothes but I just hope I will feel comfortable wearing them.

We fulled Smith's truck with so many shopping bags. I was satisfied that I bought the clothes with my savings. Since I wasn't buying food stuffs and all, I had enough to pay for my shopping.

We went to look for what to eat before heading home as we were all hungry. We found a restaurant and entered. We ordered burgers for ourselves and some juice. As we were enjoying our burgers we were talking and having fun. I missed having them around. "You girls am really grateful you were here to help me. Really I wonder what I would have done without you both." I said to them.

"Oh what are you saying Rosie. Trust me it's fine. Remember what are friends for. Besides I had fun and I'm sure Maria did too." Angel said smiling.

"Of course I had fun. I'm happy we got to do this. It will make up for our incomplete sleepover." Maria said.

"Speaking of sleepover, I was going to make an announcement on that day but I couldn't so maybe I can just say it here." Angel said.

"What announcement is that?" I asked her looking at her.

Angel sat up well and cleared her throat.

"Well I have decided to work in the hospital."

"Wait a minute. Why all of a sudden?" Maria asked her.

"I also can't remember why but that's what I want to do. I went to the hospital for check-up and I just fell in love with the environment. I talked to Nate about it so he said if that's what I want it's fine. He also made inquiry for me and they agreed that I can come and start internship training." she said.

"So you will stop coming to school? What about your certificate?" I asked her.

"Well it wouldn't be so important. After my internship training, I will get a certificate that would be more important than a college degree." she answered.

"Well I'm glad at least you have found what you want to be in the future. I'm happy for you Angel." Maria said holding her hand.

"Awwn thank you Maria."

"But when will you be leaving?" I asked her.

"By next week." she replied.

"So we only have this week together?" I pouted.

"Rosie why are you sounding like she will be leaving the pack when she's only going to be leaving school only. We can see her everyday right Angel?" Maria asked.

"Well it will be different. We won't be seeing her during lunch break or when the bells rings after classes. Also we might not be able to see her everyday because her job is not going to be easy. She will be more busy than us and her little free time should be spent with Nate." I stated. "Oh you are right. Now I feel sad." Maria said.

"Hahaha you girls stop it already. Don't worry in my free time, I will definitely hang out with you both." Angel said.

"You better." I said to her smiling.

"Angel now has what she wants to do in the future. Now it's just you and I Rosie." Maria said looking at me.

"Well I have dreamt of opening a little cafe shop for myself but I don't think I can do that now with my present situation." I said to them.

"Yeah opening a cafe shop will be too much especially when you become a Luna." Angel said.

"Well I have thought about that already. But just incase I don't become the Luna, I will definitely open my own cafe."

"And what is stopping you from being the Luna?" she asked me looking confused.

"Remember it's only when Evans has agreed to accept me before I become the Luna. For now I'm just living in his house because of his parents orders." I explained to them.

"Don't worry I'm sure Evans will definitely accept you." Angel said.

"I believe so too Rosie. Don't lose hope he will come around someday." Maria added.

"But I have a question to ask you Rosie. Do you feel anything for him?" Angel asked.

I thought about it. Do I really feel anything for him? I only know that no matter how much I try to hate him, I just can't.

"Well I can't say for now. Maybe time will tell what I feel for him." I answered her question.

"Well then that is fine. I'm very sure you both will work things out. You will make a great Luna and mate. It will be his lost if he doesn't accept you." Angel said smiling at me.

I laughed.

"Well thank you for your sweet compliment."

Angel's phone began to ring. From the smile that appeared on her face, I didn't have to guess who was calling her as it was obvious it was her mate. She picked the call and talked to him for some minutes before hanging up. "Alright if we are done let's go home now because my mate is waiting for me." she said grinning.

"Alright fine let's be going." I said to her.

We paid and left. On our way back, Maria phone rang. Smith was called her to ask her when she was coming back. She informed him that she was already on her way back.

They all had mates who cared for them and there was me. I didn't receive any calls or even a text. How unfortunate. But well I shouldn't be expecting anything from my so called mate.

Since I was the one with the stuffs, I was dropped first. When they packed the car, I was surprised to see Evans standing outside.

Was he waiting for someone? Or was he just admiring the night view? I thought confused.

I dropped from the car and went to the car truck. Maria and Angel also dropped from the car as they all wanted to help me out.

I heard them greeting Evans.

I placed the bags on the floor and closed the truck. Maria and Angel wanted to help me take them inside but I stopped them and sent them home because their mates were waiting for them. They wanted to still help out but I insisted. I thanked them again for helping out before I watched them leave.

I turned and was surprised to see Evans already carrying the shopping bags leaving just two.

"Hey what are you doing? That's mine." I said to him.

"I know they are yours Rosie. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong by helping you carry them inside." he said as he left me and walked inside.

What's wrong to him? Why is he acting so weird? I just couldn't understand what exactly was his problem.

I carried the remaining two light shopping bags and entered the house. I smiled when I saw Luna Isabella coming down from the stairs.

"You are finally back." she said as she walked to me.

"Yes I'm back. Sorry for taking so much time. I went shopping with my friends." I said to her.

"Oh it's fine you don't have to explain. Evans already informed us about your whereabouts. He has been waiting for you outside since." she said.

I didn't want to believe her last sentence but I was curious to know.

"You mean he was outside waiting for me?" I asked her.

"Yes my dear. I even told him several times to come inside but he refused and said he was going to wait for you. To some point he was worried. You know the rogues attack and all, he just wasn't at peace that you were not at home." she explained. I felt warm inside me. So he actually cared. Although he didn't call me, he still showed he cared by waiting up for me. I'm not supposed to enjoy this but I honestly can't help myself but smile.

"Go freshen up and come down for dinner." she said before walking to the kitchen.

I went upstairs with a smile on my face that has refused to go away. I entered his room and saw my shopping bags on the bed. He was sitting close to them.

"Erm thank you for helping me with the bags." I said to him feeling shy of a sudden.

"Its fine. I see you went for shopping, you should have asked me for money." he said.

"Well I had some savings so I decided to use them for myself." I said to him.

"Alright but if you need any money or anything you can ask my mum or me." he said to me.

"Will try to remember that." I said to him.

"Freshen up and come down for dinner. I will be in the dinning room." he said before he stood up and left the room.

After he left I just realized.

This was actually the first time we had a real conversation without arguing or being forced.

What does this mean?

Is he acting or being real with me now?
