Chapter 76

ROSIE POV

I opened my eyes and sat up slowly groaning. Sleeping on the floor is nothing but pure t*****e. I can't wait to sleep on the bed later in the night as it will be my turn.

I raised my head and looked up to see Evans still sleeping. He looked like he was really enjoying his sleep unlike me. He looked so peaceful with his lips parted.

Just looking at him made me remember what happened last night. I was taken by surprise when he mentioned that he was at peace when he was with me. I was expecting him to correct his statement and tell me it slipped from his tongue but he didn't say a word. He just kept quiet and closed his eyes leaving me to battle with my thoughts.

We returned back home last night although very late. Alpha Bryan insisted that we leave the neighboring pack immediately. I don't want to assume much but I can't help but notice that something actually happened in the meeting because he looked so angry just like Evans. I noticed Luna Isabella trying to calm him down when he came out.

The ride home was so quiet and none of us said a word to each other. When we got to the house everyone went to their rooms to sleep as we all had a very stressful day.

I kept staring at Evans and couldn't take my eyes off him like I was in a spell. He looked so different in a good way this morning or maybe it's just me.

"Rosie stop it will you. Remember it's Evans. Get your head straight." my sub consciousness was a darling to remind me.

I shaked my head and stood up from the blankets. I neatly folded them and placed them on the wardrobe. I took some clothes and quickly took my bath and dressed up in the bathroom before Evans woke up. He must be tired from driving since he was still sleeping. But unfortunately for him, he can't sleep in because he has school to attend.

I began to think whether I should wake him up or let him be. I decided to let him be but as I was walking to the door, I stopped.

It's better I wake him up now because Luna Isabella might order me to go with him to school and I can't be late because of him.

I walked back to the bed and called out his name first.

"Evans... Evans wake up." I said but he didn't move or even open his eyes. This won't do. I have to use my plan B. Sorry Evans. I bend and moved my head close to his ears.

"EVAAAANNNNNNSSSSSSS......" I shouted on top of my voice.

He jumped up and looked everywhere ready to attack. He looked quite funny but I couldn't laugh at him or I might be in trouble and trust I don't have time for that.

"Sorry for shouting but I was trying to wake you up earlier and you weren't opening your eyes so I had no other choice but to scream. You need to wake up now or we will be late for school." I said to him before leaving the room.

I went to the kitchen and as usual the first person I saw was no other than Luna Isabella cooking. I wonder if she ever gets tired of staying in the kitchen all day.

"Morning Luna Isabella." I greeted her as I walked to the fridge to get some water.

"Morning dear. Hope you slept well?" she asked me.

"I did. Hope you were also able to rest from yesterday journey?" I asked her.

"Yes I did. Infact I'm so refreshed right now. I can see your ready for school. Alright go to the dinning room and your breakfast will join you shortly." she said smiling. "Alright thank you Luna."

I left the kitchen and went to the dinning room. I sat down and waited for my food. It didn't take long before I was served a plate of egg, toast, bacon and a cup of tea.

I silently ate my food. Before I was done eating, Evans entered the dinning room all dressed and ready. An Omega quickly rushed with his plate of food which was much that mine.

We both ate and when we were done, we all bid Luna Isabella farewell before we left.

I was sad when Evans drove his car out of the garage instead of his power bike. I love riding on his bike. But I covered my sadness and entered the car.

When he parked the car, I quickly dropped and left him as I rushed to my classroom. It wasn't like I was avoiding him or something I just didn't want to be close to him as the air around us felt so awkward.

I entered the classroom and was happy when I saw Maria sitting there as she was playing with her phone. I walked to her and dropped my bag on her desk as sat on my desk.

"Hello you." I said to her smiling.

"Rosie how are you doing? Hope you are fine?" she asked again. She was still bothered about the rogue issue.

"Maria how many times have you asked me that and I answered you that I'm fine. Don't worry about me. Hope you enjoyed your weekend with Smith?" I asked her.

"Fine I won't ask anymore. My weekend was fine although Smith didn't allow me leave the house yesterday. He also didn't go anywhere. He wanted to stay close to me and make sure I was safe." she answered. "Well that's nice at least he was there to calm you down from being anxious and all." I said to her smiling.

"Hello girls."

We both turned to see it was Drew.

"Hey Drew. Hope you arrived home early yesterday?" I asked him.

"Yes I did thanks for asking." he said smiling.

"Where was he last night?" Maria asked looking confused.

"Oh he was in the neighboring pack. Luna Isabella sent him to deliver food which she cooked." I answered her.

"Ohh I see." was her reply.

The teacher entered the class and the first two lessons went slowly. The next lesson we would have before lunch period was cancelled as the teacher for the subject was temporary absent.

So we had free time to just talk before the bell rings for lunch break.

I was talking to Maria when Drew joined us. Drew was telling us some jokes making us to laugh so hard. He was a funny guy.

We were still talking when Juliet walked up to us with her minions behind her. I thought she has learnt her lesson and has stopped disturbing me. She is a really stubborn person I can tell.

"Hey you Rosie. I'm talking to you." she called out for me but I ignored her like I wasn't the one she was calling.

She let out a scoff.

"You dare to ignore me. Haha I don't blame you. It's because you think Evans is behind you that's why you think you can act anyhow. Well let me warn you, soon he will dump you when he gets to know you are nothing to him. Mark my words." she said said before walking away taking her minions with her.

I rolled my eyes and turned to look at Drew and Maria.

"That girl has gone nuts if she thinks your mate would leave you." Drew said.

He had no idea of Evans and I beginning.

"Well Rosie I think it's high time you step up your game to prove to Juliet and others who are doubting you that you have the power." Maria said looking so determined.

"See why I love this girl. She sure knows the right advice to give. You need to do something so people will stop looking down on us." Sun said. "Something like what?" I asked her.

"First of all, we have to work on how you carry yourself in public. People won't respect someone who is timid and dresses anyhow." Sun said.

Hmmm mother Sun is back. I'm in for in.

"But there is nothing wrong with my dressing." I said to her.

"For you but as the future Luna, you should learn to dress well. I mean look at Luna Isabella for example, she dress so beautifully that she is respected because of how elegant she appears. Also take me as an example, anytime I'm in control and I dress up, heads turn to look at me because I look so confident and elegant also. So we definitely need to work on that. Take this advice from an expert and trust me you will see results yourself." she said.

I felt someone shake my shoulder. I quickly cut the connection I had with sun and focused on my friends.

"Sorry I was talking to my wolf." I said to them.

"Is everything alright with her?" Maria asked.

"Yes don't mind her. She was just giving me some advice on how I should change my dressing style and all so I can gain respect from people." I said rolling my eyes.

"Well I must say I agree with your wolf. She sure is so brilliant." Drew said.

"No offence but Rosie I agree with him and Sun too. I think it's high time you change the clothes you wear and wear something different. That way Evans won't leave you and Juliet won't be able to take down on you." Maria said looking so serious.

As much as I don't like the idea of changing the way I dress, I think they are right. I need to have a new look. I'm no longer an Omega but I'm going to be a Luna that's if my relationship with Evans works. I won't change my style completely maybe just change a little. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

"Alright then, I will change my clothes but not all. I love my big clothes and intend to stick with them for life." I said to them.

"If that's what you want, it's fine. So does that's mean you are going for shopping after school?" Maria asked looking at me.

"Yes of course. I just hope Angel will join us after school because she knows more about fashion." I said.

"Trust me, she will never say no to this offer." she said smiling.

I just hope these girls won't stress my life later because I'm not in for any stress.
