EVANS

POV

I think something bad is happening to me. Like I don't get why I kissed her. I think I'm loosing my mind or something because if I was in my right mind, I would never do such a thing. I need to go see a doctor and I will do that immediately I return home. "Will shut up. You are acting like you didn't enjoy when we all know very well that you did." Axel said teasing me.

"For f**k sake please not now Axel." I said to him. I really wasn't ready for him right now. I just need to clear my head from Rosie.

She is causing alot of harm to me these days. And yet she doesn't listen to me. I really don't like her talking to that guy. It irritates me when I see him smiling and looking at her with a puppy face. I just hope she doesn't fall for his fake innocent looks because even I can see clearly that it's all fake.

Wait a minute, I thought I said I was going to clear my head from thinking about Rosie but her am I thinking about her again. Urgh I hate this.

I decided to just join the meeting that was going up upstairs at least it would help alot in taking my mind off Rosie.

I went upstairs and sneaked into the room where my dad and other alphas were seated. I looked around and saw some of my friends present also. I slowly walked to them and sat down with them. I began to listen

"I'm sure that those rogues are here for something. It's very obvious because they have been leaving signs. We need to replace out exactly what they want." one of the alpha's said.

"I

I agree with him. The attacks that have been happening is quite different from the rest of the attacks. It's like they were actually looking for something" another said.

"Which pack was able to interrogate them and replace something like a link or something?" the Alpha of crescent pack asked.

Everyone was quiet for some minutes. The alpha wanted to speak when I saw my dad raise his hand. I was surprised when I saw his hand up. Did he replace out something and didn't tell me? I thought confused. "Yes Bryan."

"Well I wasn't the one who interrogated them but my son did. You see they almost attacked his mate so he captured some and interrogated them. I'm sure he has something to tell us." my dad said looking at me.

It escaped my mind that I actually did interrogate the rogues. Maybe it was because I didn't feel like talking that's was why I totally forgot about that. Now my dad has exposed me.

"Alright Evans can you please tell us everything you got from the rogue." someone asked.

I cleared my throat and sat up.

"Well I didn't get much but they informed me that they have a master who they have never seen but he passes information to their boss who seems to be the second in command. When I asked for the whereabouts of their second in command, they confessed they had no idea where he was." I said.

"Did they describe or give you a name of who their boss is?" one alpha who I can't remember which pack he was asked.

"No I couldn't. That's because they also have no idea." I replied.

"So what did you do to them after?" another alpha asked.

"I sent them free." I answered.

"You what?" two alpha's shouted at the same time.

My dad turned to look at me with surprise on his face. I couldn't tell him about it at home so he had no idea what I did.

"Why will you do that?" one alpha asked looking at me.

"To send a message to their boss and master." I answered.

"Can you explain better because we don't understand what you actually mean by that. What message is that?" the alpha of Yellowstone pack asked me.

"Well the reason why they came was because they wanted my mate. According to them they were sent to get my mate. So I sent a message to their master that he has no right to take my mate away from me." I told them. My dad let out a loud growl.

"How dare they come into my territory to take my son's mate?" he looks so angry that I knew he was so close to shifting. He sure loves Rosie for him to act this way because this is so unlike him.

"Bryan you need to calm down okay. Now Evans tell us is there something special about your mate that they are after?" someone asked.

I thought about it very hard. There was actually nothing so special about Rosie. She is just an ordinary Omega and I don't even think she can fight to protect herself. She was just she only. Nothing more nothing less. "There is nothing special about her." I answered.

"Are you sure? Is she a daughter of an Alpha that is far? Maybe they are after her because she has an Alpha blood running through her veins." The alpha of Yellowstone asked.

"No she isn't the daughter of any alpha. She is actually from my pack and she's an Omega." I said.

Everyone was quiet and they all looked at me.

I knew that this was coming the moment I said Rosie's status. Funny enough, when I said it, I didn't feel embarrassed or anything instead I felt a little pride in me which was very strange.

"You mean to say you were mated to an Omega?" someone asked looking at me like I had two heads.

"Yes he is mated to an Omega. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that so watch your words you all. I won't take it lightly if you talk bad about my pack member and son's mate." my dad warned them.

"Well we won't say anything about her being an Omega. Now back to the matter on ground, how do we stop the rogues from coming. Evans sending them back to their boss can cause a war to come because if truly your mate is special, they will fight for her. So I will advise you to bring her over so we can examine her and replace out if there is something you are missing." one alpha said.

"I can't let you pressure my mate for something she knows nothing about. She doesn't have any idea that they were actually after her and I plan to leave it that way. I don't want her to be bothered and troubled about her safety." I said to them.

"But we must replace out what's the reason so we can erase it immediately so the rogues can let us be." one alpha said.

"Well we can replace the reason some other way but I'm not going to bring my mate and let you use her as a lab rat for your experiment only because you want to examine her." I said to them with a frown on my face.

"You this boy, can't you respect your elders?" another shouted.

"Sorry if I sound disrespectful but my decision stands. I'm not going to present my mate to you all for examination. She is fine and the rogues master is mistaking her for some one." I said as calmly as I can sound. I was slowing loosing it and Axel was also adding to my anger as he was feeling like his mate is being threatened.

"Well we aren't asking you now, we are ordering you to bring her ov..."

Before the alpha could complete his statement, I shut him up with a growl.

"Don't you dare finish your statement. I'm not bringing my mate and that's final. And if you all try to take her away from me without my knowledge, just know I won't let it lay silently." I warned them and decided to leave to avoid loosing control and doing something I'm not supposed to do.

Before leaving I looked at my dad and saw he had a proud look on his face. That only means I did the right thing and he approves of my decision.

I left and decided to get out to get some air. I entered my car and started it. I was surprised when the door opened and Rosie scent filled the car calming me and Axel down immediately.

I decided to just drive. I didn't want to be around here. I just wanted to be alone with her at the moment.

I was happy when uttered out without thinking that she cared about me. It made me feel warm instead. I looked for somewhere and packed the car.

"Now can we talk." she asked me.

"Give me some time." I told her as I closed my eyes then sniffed in her delicious scent trying to calm myself down from all the drama. After two minutes, I was no longer angey anymore.

"We can talk now." I said to her opening my eyes to look at her.

"Why did you walk out like that? What did the alphas say to you? What happened in the meeting? Is the rogue attack that bad and can't be resolved? Is everything going to be okay." she asked looking worried.

"Your questions are so much that I can't remember some and don't know which one to answer." I said to her letting out a small smile.

"Ohh alright then let me ask this important one. Are you okay and what did the alpha's say about the attack?" she asked.

"I hope you are aware you actually said you will asked just one important question and you ended up asking two?" I raised my eyebrows up.

"Just answer the question already will you." she said sounding frustrated.

I let out a chuckle.

"Alright then I will answer your question. I'm fine now. I'm not longer upset. And for the meeting can we not talk about it right now. I don't want to remember what happened back there." I said to her. She looked at me without saying anything before she let out a long sigh.

"Alright if you say so. Now next question. Where are we and when do you plan on returning back?" She asked.

"I don't know where we are but I like the fact that it's quiet and I don't want to return anytime soon. I feel at peace just being with you right now." I said to her looking into her eyes.
