Chapter 74

ROSIE POV

It felt like my brain had frozen. I felt nothing but sparks everywhere and Sun wasn't helping matters also as she was screaming so loud causing me to have a headache.

I quickly punished him away with all the strength I had left because I felt so weak.

I wiped my lips in anger.

"Are you mad? How dare you kiss me?" I asked furiously.

He stood there just looking at me without answering my question. I tried to replace out what he was thinking about through his facial expression but I got nothing. He hid them so well.

"I asked you a question damnit answer me already." I shouted.

He still said nothing making me to get more frustrated than I already was. The next thing he did surprised me.

He freaking turned and walked away without saying a word to me. No matter how hard I try, I don't think I will ever be able to understand him.

I took deep breaths to calm down because I didn't want to lose it. I can't get angry here.

After some breathe in and out exercise, I was about to cool down a little. I walked to where others were gathering talking and having fun from what I can see. I looked round but didn't see a sigh of Evans. Where have he gone to now? Is he trying to avoid from me so I won't question him? His such a weakling.

The sweet aroma of food made my stomach grumble. I looked round to see if anyone heard the embarrassing sound but fortunately for me, no one was around so there's no way anyone would hear anything. I let out a small victorious smile then I walked to the table where the food was arranged. I carried a plates then I went straight for dessert. I cut a big piece of chocolate cake for myself.

I looked for an empty space where I could comfortable eat without being disturbed by another. I found one and start to walk there when someone blocked my path.

I looked up and was surprised to see a young girl who looks like she was my age mate standing in front of me smiling.

"Hello I'm Quinn from silver pack." she said.

"Hi I'm Rosie from evergreen pack." I introduced myself to.

"I can see you are mated to an Alpha. Well I couldn't help but notice you were standing alone so if you don't mind you can come join me and the girls over there. We are all mated to alpha's also. Since our mate's are busy, we all decided to have a little chat together." she said.

I looked to the direction she pointed earlier when she was talking about her friends. I saw three other girls sitting there and talking and laughing. I looked back to Quinn. I wanted to turn down her request but decided to go for it because I couldn't see Drew anyway and it would be nice to get to know new people than to be alone.

"Alright I don't mind joining you girls for a while." I gave her my answer.

"Awesome." she said as she lead the way to the girls.

When we got there, she cleared her throat to get their attention. They all turned to look at her.

"Girls meet Rosie from evergreen pack. Rosie meet Lia from crescent pack, Vanessa from Red moon pack and Ginny from waterfall pack." Quinn introduced.

"Hello nice to meet you girls." I said smiling at them. They smiled at me in return.

I noticed that Lia had a curly light brown hair. Vanessa dyed her hair to blue and the tips had a touch of white. Her hair was so straight. Finally Ginny black hair was on a short bob.

I sat down and started eating my cake slowly. The girls started talking to each other while I was busy with my delicious cake. I made sure I finished the cake before I had their time.

"I can see you love cakes so much." Lia said to me.

"Well who does like cake please?" I asked rolling my eyes smiling the whole time.

"She does have a point. Who actually doesn't like cake?" Ginny said grinning. "Actually my mate hates cake." Quinn said raising her hand up slowly.

"Oh that's so sad. His lost anyway." Ginny said.

"So tell us Rosie, who is your mate?" Vanessa asked looking at me in a weird way.

I could tell that she was the only one I would have problem with because all the other girls didn't seems to have any problem. They are all cool expect for Vanessa who I don't know know what's her deal exactly. "Well my mate is Evans." I answered her.

"Wow the moon goddess paired you with someone like Evans you sure are lucky." she said as she sat back looking at me.

"Haha you can say that again." I said to her.

"So tell me, are you the daughter to an alpha or beta or gamma?" Vanessa asked me with an eyebrow up.

"Vanessa what's with all this questions?" Lia asked her.

Exactly, I wonder what is her deal with me.

"Nothing just want to know. I mean there is nothing bad asking right?" she replied.

"Well she is right. There is nothing wrong in asking." Ginny said.

I decided to just give them an answer. After all there is nothing wrong with answering their questions.

"Alright I will answer you girls. I'm not an alpha's daughter neither am I related to any beta or gamma. I'm an Omega." I answered not ashamed of my status.

"WHAT?? YOU ARE A WHAT??" Vanessa screamed looking so shocked. I can't help but wonder what exactly is her deal. Why does she act so shocked like I said something I shouldn't have. I decided to answer her question again since it seems she didn't get me the first time. "Am an Omega." I repeated.

"You mean you are an Omega and Evans agreed for you to be his mate?" she asked in disbelief.

"Is there something wrong about being an Omega?" I asked her instead of answering her question.

"Well it's just that you are wea...." she didn't finish as last sentence as I noticed Quinn pinch her.

"Oh don't mind her. She doesn't know what she's saying." Quinn said laughing but I could tell that her laugh was so fake.

"Well now that you know about my status tell me about yours." I said to them.

"Well I'm a daughter to the alpha of Yellowstone pack. Quinn is the daughter to the gamma in her pack while Ginny and Lia are both daughters of betas." Vanessa said.

"Well that's great." I said not getting what is her point actually. Is she trying to rub it on my face that they are from high ranked families or what?

They continued talking and I noticed they didn't include me in their discussion. I guess they don't need me anymore so it's best if I just leave.

I stood up and excused myself to go use the restroom. As I was walking around, I noticed Luna Isabella standing alone. I decided to go to her. Her company was better than those other girls.

"Hello Luna Isabella. Why are you alone and not with Alpha Bryan?" I asked her as I stood close to her.

"Well his still in the meeting. Are you having fun?" she asked me.

"Well truth be told, I'm not having any fun here. I just can't wait to go home already." I complained to her.

She laughed at me.

"Don't worry I think they will soon finish from the meeting then we can leave immediately before it's becomes very late."

"Alright but we have to inform Evans when it's time to leave because I don't know where he is right now." I told her.

"Oh you don't have to worry about him. He is with his dad in the meeting. I saw him earlier on his way there and he said he wanted to be there too." she replied.

Oh I see. He decided to leave me after kissing me just to attend a meeting. Or maybe he was using the meeting as an excuse to avoid me. Just wow. How mature of you Evans.

We continued talking when we had a loud bang which startled us. I looked up and saw an angry looking Evans coming down from the stairs in a hurry.

I didn't understand why he looked so different and what happened to him. He didn't look like himself. It was like he was going to shift any moment from now. He didn't look at anymore as he rushed outside leaving everyone standing in surprise and confusion. "Rosie I think you should follow him so he doesn't cause any trouble by harming anyone. Remember this isn't our pack so we have to be careful. You are best to calm him down right now so please go after him and try to calm him down."

There was no way I could ever disobey her so I rushed outside. I looked around and saw him walking to where the cars where packed. I quickly ran after him. I was able to catch up with him just when he entered the car. I entered the car also. He had already started the car.

"Evans can you calm down and stop the car let's talk about what happened." I said to him calmly.

He didn't reply me. He released the brakes to the car and started driving. He was driving so fast that I had to hold something as I was scared for my life.

"Evans can you stop driving so fast and stop the car already. Where are you driving too?" I asked him but he didn't answer me. It was like he had zoned out and couldn't hear me at all.

I held his arms and shaked him. That was what got his attention. He turned to look at me.

"What are you doing here?" he asked frowning.

"I should be asking you where are you doing right?" I asked him back.

"I need to clear my head." he said.

"From what? Where were you angry earlier?" I asked him.

"Well it's nothing that is your business you let me be." he said rudely.

"You shouldn't be rude to someone who is trying to replace out what exactly is wrong with you. At least be thankful I care about you." I said to him.

Then I heard the words that came out from my mouth. And I couldn't help but ask myself.

Wait a minute, why should I care about him?
