Chapter 85

ROSIE POV

After we got back from school, I tried to avoid Evans at all cause. I didn't like the fact that my heart was beating so fast whenever he was in front of me or beside me. I decided that the only way to be normal is if I avoided him and that's what I did all day. I was grateful he didn't also bother me or look for me.

It was getting dark already. I was watching a movie in the sitting room when he entered making me to become stiff on the couch. He looked hot in his outfit and I could tell he was about to leave the house.

"I will be going out to see someone. If I don't come back on time, you can sleep without waiting up for me." he said.

Although my assumptions were correct, I didn't like the idea of him leaving the house although I didn't want to see him all the same. I didn't want to stay alone in this big house all by myself. You know what screw avoiding him, I can't let him leave me alone. He has to take me with him.

"Wait a minute Evans. But I don't know if I can follow you. You see I can't stay here alone. I'm not used to this big house." I said to him.

He looked at me without saying a word. My heart began to beat fast this time it wasn't about because of the effects he had on me but it was beating in anticipation to hear his answer. I didn't know if he will want to take me with him or he would decide my presence was a nuisance to him.

"Okay. Get dress and meet me outside." he said before he turned to leave.

I don't think I heard him well.

"WAIT." I shouted making him to stop walking and turn back to look at me.

"Yes?" he asked calmly.

"Did you really agree that I can come with you?" I asked him.

"Do you want me to repeat myself twice?" he asked me.

I didn't wait for that because he has answered my question already although with another question but I don't mind at all for I now know the answer.

I rushed leaving him in the sitting room as I ran to his bedroom to get dressed as he had said. I wore my baggy pants and a big top at least a little something that could keep me warm enough. It was late so no need to add extra efforts in dressing. I brushed my hair and packed it up before I grabbed my phone and left the room. I rushed outside and he was there waiting for me with his power bike.

I never expected him to go out with it in the night but anyway I was excited to ride on it again. I collected a helmet from him and put it on before climbing the bike. Without being told, I quickly wrapped my hands around his waist.

He turned on the bike and began to drive. He drove while I on the other hand was enjoying the wind as it hit my body. The feeling was so calming.

After driving for sometime, he stop the bike. I raised my head and was surprised to see he took me to a freaking club.

"Evans why are we here?" I asked him.

"Well this is where I was coming to." he answered as he removed his gloves.

"So you mean you were coming here all by yourself? To see who if I may ask? And did you bring me here to rub it on my face?" I asked feeling so irritated and angry that I came here with him.

"I don't understand what you are saying but just you know I didn't bring you here to rub anything in anywhere. I actually came here for business." he said with seriousness in his voice. He actually meant what he said.

"Alright I have heard your explanation. Well I think I will have to wait for you outside so you can finish your work." I said to him as I turned to look for where I can sit.

"No fucking way am I going to let you stay outside. You are coming with me but you must stay by myself and not lose me at all cost." he warned.

I felt relieved when he said that. I actually didn't like the idea of staying outside alone waiting for him who knows what could happen in his absence?

"Alright got it." I answered him.

He held my hand taking me off guard. Before I could I say a word to him, he started moving pulling me alone with him. We entered the club and as usual it was loud with music coming out from the speakers. The dancefloor was full of people dancing. Some looked drunk already.

Evans began to walk upstairs. As he reached, I saw it was a big space with sofas. In this place, the music wasn't heard. It was some sort of VIP room or spot.

Some men were already seated. Evans walked to them and sat on a sofa making me sit right next to him.

"Evans I see you made it." I heard someone say.

The voice sounded familiar. I looked hard at his face and I immediately recognize him. He was one of the alphas I met during that party.

If his here does that mean he wasn't alone and the others were also there? I thought feeling curious. I turned to look at the rest and I was correct, they were all here.

"I see you didn't come alone. Hello once again Evans mate. The last time we weren't able to introduce each other sorry about that but I don't think it's too late right?" the person that talked first said.

"Of course I doubt if it's too late. It's pretty replace." Evans answered.

"Well I'm Xander from crescent pack." the talkative said smiling.

I quickly remember he must be Lia's mate.

"Nice to meet you." I said to him.

"I'm Derick alpha of waterfall." yup this was Ginny's boyfriend.

"I am Jake from silver pack." another said. I finally got to see the guy who doesn't eat cake.

"And I'm Angelo from red moon pack." the last said. From his voice I could hear he sounded not interested. He was just like his mate, Vanessa. Two pairs matched so perfectly with their attitude.

"So yeah we were talking the last time but we were interrupted. So of you don't mind, we didn't get to know what your status." Jake asked.

I looked at Evans and Evans didn't even look at me. I wanted him to give the go signal whether to tell them or not.

Just when I was about to speak, Angelo beat me to it.

"She doesn't have to tell us because it's quite embarrassing. She is an Omega you guys." he said.

No one said a word not even Evans. I was actually expecting him to fight for me or something but he was silent. I decided to stand up for myself instead.

I turned to Angelo.

"If I may ask, what's wrong with being an Omega? I didn't commit a crime to be one so why are you all making it big deal?" I asked him looking at him coldly.

"You are nothing but weak that's your offence." he answered.

"Well you got the wrong impression about me. Yes I might be an Omega but that doesn't mean am weak. Who ever made you think we Omegas are weaklings? Infact we are the opposite. We are fighting hard to survive in this state so it's not easy but it still shows our strength which you failed to noticed." I said proudly.

No one said a word after I was done. I turned to look at Evans to see if he was angry that I spoke what I wasn't supposed to say. I was surprised when he was already looking at me with a smile on his face.

"I must say you really got me with your words. You sure didn't sound like someone who was weak at all. Maybe we were given the wrong ideas about Omegas in the academy." Jake said smiling at me also. "What were you taught in the academy?" I couldn't help but ask. I wanted to know what was the main reason Evans didn't want me in the first place.

"Well we were taught that we should have mates who are born from higher status that way we can be respected and strong. Our teacher then said that if we had an Omega as a mate, we should never have anything to do with her or else we are going to be weak a*s alpha's. According to him all Omegas are weak and depend on others in other to survive. Without other people, they won't do well on their own." he explained.

I let out a growl. This was an insult to us Omegas. I was boiling in anger and so was Sun. She also felt insulted on my behalf. Her anger was more than mine that I couldn't fight her back when she wanted to take control.

"Can you please tell me the name of the bastard who taught you that. I need to meet him and make him chew his words. He has no right to say such a thing. Only if he knows how much damage his words has caused to some people's lives. He needs to be taught a lesson and I will be the teacher." Sun said growling low.

"Woah Evans what's wrong with your mate? Calm her down already. She looks like she's ready to kill someone. Look at her eyes. They are no longer green." Derick said.

I was surprised when he spoke. I thought he didn't like to talk always. Maybe he was scared of Sun's anger.

"Well I think I will take my leave instead. We can catch up some other time. Now I need to calm my mate down so she won't kill anyone as you have said." Evans said as he stood up.

Only hearing his voice made Sun calm down immediately. She gave me back control just when Evans stretched his hand for me to take.

I slowly held his hand and he let me out of the club. We walked to where the bike was packed before he stopped walking and then he turned to look at me.

"Rosie I owe you an apology." he said.

"An apology? What did you do wrong?" I asked looking confused.

"Well I'm deeply sorry for what happened between us in the past. I'm sorry for following my teacher's advice and hurting you in the process. I'm sorry for rejecting you. I'm sorry for bullying you. I'm sorry for neglecting you. I'm also sorry for apologizing this late when I should have done that since. I'm truly sorry Rosie please forgive me."
