Chapter 86

ROSIE POV

I woke up feeling so happy. I quickly took my bath and after dressing I rushed to the kitchen to prepare a fast breakfast.

I was in a good mood this morning and it's all because of what happened last night. I can't still believe Evans actually apologized to me. I was happy and in disbelief at the same time. He was really changing and I can tell that he really was. Now I have to wait to see if our present state was going to go to another level where he will finally accept me and we will be in love and maybe mark each other and mate then we will bear children.

Hold up Rosie keep it together. Your thoughts are going so far. You need to calm down and wait let everything go slowly. You shouldn't rush things.

My inner self warned me. I decided to listen to her. It was better to take things slowly.

I was placing the plates on the dinning table when I heard a knock on the door. I wasn't expecting anyone so it came as a surprise. I walked to the door to see who it was. Maybe Evans was expecting a guest but isn't it too early?

I opened the door and surprising I found no one outside. Or maybe I didn't hear well. But I'm very sure someone knocked the door. I was about to turn and enter the house when my eyes caught a glance of something on the floor. I turned to look at it again. It was a little parcel. I picked it up and checked for any note but found nothing. It didn't have any information about who sent it and who it was for.

I entered the house with it and walked to the dinning table. I dropped the parcel on the table as I waited for Evans to come down so I could give it to him. I continued with my work.

I went upstairs after I was done to get Evans. The moment I entered the room, I stopped walking. Right in front of me was Evans wearing just a towel on his waist. I totally forgot to knock before entering.

From the water that was still on his sexy chest I could tell he just finished having his birth. His hair were so wet and they made him look more sexy than he already looked before. His abs and muscles were a sight to cause my mouth to water. Sun on the other hand was purring and sending me unholy images. She just had to make things worse for me to control.

"Rosie I don't mind you looking at me all you want but sorry I have to stop you because we have to go to school." his voice interrupted my thoughts.

I shaked my head trying to regain my sanity.

"Oh I'm sorry. I will just go and change into something." I said as I turned to walk out of the room.

"Where are you going to? I thought your clothes and the bathroom is right here." he called out behind me.

Why do I have to act like a fool right in front of him. This is definitely not good. Rosie wake up damnit.

I turned and gave him an embarrassed chuckle before I rushed to pick my clothes. I entered the bathroom and sat on the floor as I held my chest. My heart won't stop beating so fast.

It took me some time to relax before I started dressing. I picked a jean trouser with a beautiful crop top. I brushed my hair and did a light makeup this time.

After I was done, I walked out of the bathroom. I noticed Evans was gone. I picked my bag and rushed downstairs to catch up with him.

I entered the dinning room and saw him sitting there. He was holding the parcel looking so confused.

"Rosie what is this?" he asked as he looked at me.

"I also don't know. I was just arranging the dinning table when I heard a knock on the door. I went to open it and when I did I didn't see anyone other. I only saw this parcel so I thought to take it in maybe it was for you or your parents. Although I'm surprised why it didn't have a note attached to it to state who the sender is." I explained to him.

"So you didn't see anyone other or feel something weird outside?" he asked me.

"No I didn't. What's wrong Evans? Why are you asking such questions?" I asked him not understanding what was wrong.

"Well don't mind me. Is just that this parcel is giving me some wrong feelings and the smell coming from it seems off." he answered.

"So are you going to open it right now?" I asked him.

"No we will wait for my dad to return back. While you were dressing, he sent me a message that they are on the way. When we come back from school we will definitely see them at home. Only then can we open this parcel. Maybe it's his who knows." he said. I nodded my head.

"That's a good idea. Also I'm happy your mother is finally coming back. I missed her." I said with a smile on my face.

"Of course I know you did since she was your gossip partner. Anyway sit down let's eat fast so we can leave already." he said as he looked at him waist watch.

I sat down and together we eat in the silence but it was a calming silence.

After we were done eating, we stood up and left for school.

I noticed that Evans was acting so weird. Like he always wanted to be beside me. After he dropped me off from the car, he followed me to class. Infact he made sure to enter the classroom with me and it was after I was seated that he left. I didn't know what his problem is but I could tell he has been on the edge ever since we left the house.

The bell for lunch rang after some few classes. The teacher left the classroom giving us the freedom to move.

I was placing the books I used inside my bag when I felt someone's presence behind me.

I turned to see who it was and I honestly wasn't expecting Evans.

"What are you doing here?" I couldn't stop myself from asking him.

"I came to walk with you to the cafeteria." he answered.

"But I can go there myself. I have been doing that ever since." I said to him.

"Well today it's different so please just accept my offer and let's go together." he replied.

I decided to just let him be. I took my bag and stood up. We walked out of the class together with Maria behind. We left drew behind as he was still busy.

We had lunch together and it was the usual. It was filled with laugher and gists.

We talked about Angel who would be leaving us soon. Nate looked sad when we were talking about it but he cheered up when she whispered to his ears making him smile immediately.

After lunch, Evans walked with me back to my class. But this time Smith was with him as he was with Maria. The audience we were getting were much now because he was doing something that he had never done before. I could hear their side talks but I decided to ignore them. He stayed in my classroom until my teacher entered before he left to his class.

"Is just me or really Evans is getting so attached to you that he can't let go of you? You lucky girl." Maria whispered to me.

"Well I think it's nothing serious. His just being like this because he seems to be on the edge. Something is bothering him but I don't know what it is." I said to her.

"Well I hope he continues like this. It's nice to watch him act all loving and caring towards you." she said.

I didn't say any word to her again as we began to listen to our teacher.

After the last teacher left the class, Evans entered my class again. It was like he was waiting for the teacher to leave immediately before he entered.

"Pack your stuffs let's go home." he said to me.

I started packing when someone joined us.

"Hey Evans. It's good to see you even though it has been quite long." I turned to see Juliet say to him. I thought she had given up on him and has stopped talking to him? So why is she here.

"Hi Juliet." Evans answered in voice that could clearly tell that he wasn't interested with whatever she wanted to say.

"I noticed you are becoming close to Rosie. That's good. You both look like amazing coupl...."

Evans interrupted her by talking to me.

"Rosie if you are done, let's be going home. My mum and dad must be waiting for us." he said to me.

I stood up and we left the classroom.

"What was that?" I asked him.

"What was what?" he asked me back.

"Why did you ignore Juliet when she was trying to talk to you earlier?" I asked him.

"Well nothing. I just didn't feel like talking to her. Besides I have no business to do with her." he answered.

I decided to let the matter slide. If he doesn't want to talk to her, I have no problem with that.

He drove us home.

Just when we both were walking in, Luna Isabella ran to us with her hands wide open. I thought she was running to her son but you my greatest surprise she was running towards me. She hugged me tightly.

"Rosie I missed you so much. How have you been?" she asked me with a smile on her face.

"I have fine thank you."

"My Bella allow her to rest before you jumped on her already." I heard alpha Bryan said.

I turned to see him standing next to Evans.

"Welcome back Alpha."

"Thank you Rosie. Hope you are doing well?" he asked me.

I was about to answer when Evans spoke before I started.

"You two really. I'm your son yet you ignored me like I didn't exist." he said frowning.

"Can you stop complaining and come give your mother a hug." Luna Isabella said.

He walked to her and hugged his mother. The sight alone melted my heart.

After the hug, Alpha Bryan cleared his throat and turned to him. The look on his face was very serious.

"So son about what you said on the phone, I checked it and you were right. We need to be extra careful starting from now." he said to Evans.

From the way Evans face hardened, I knew it wasn't a good news.

I wonder what was going on and what do we need to be careful about?
