Chapter 93

ROSIE POV

"I ASKED YOU A F*****G QUESTION WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO RAISE YOUR FILTHY HAND ON MY MATE? I NEED AN ANSWER RIGHT NOW." Evans growled.

The poor doctor looked so scared. He won't stop shaking and his trouser showed a sign that he peed on himself.

“I...IIII........mmmmmm.......sooorrrrrrryyyyyyyy.....IIIIIII.... swe......eearrrr... II..diiiiiddddnnnn'ttttttt.....kkkknnnowwwww.....shhhhheeeee.... iiissss.... youuuuuurrrrr....mmmmaaatteeeeee." he stammered. I almost didn't get a word of what he was saying. I couldn't help myself from taking pity on him although he deserves it for looking down on me.

"LIKE I WILL FUCKING ACCEPT THAT. YOU DARE RAISE YOUR DISGUSTING HAND ON MY MATE. I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE SURE YOU NEVER GET TO USE IT AGAIN."

"Please I'm sorry. Please I beg you I will never do it again. I will never lay a finger on her. I swear I will never do again. Please forgive me I beg you." he continued begging.

I didn't know what to do. I feared that Evans will actually do what he just promised to do. I can't bare to watch him hurt the poor doctor who is so scared.

I slowly walked to him and placed my shaking hand on his back. I felt him go stiff before he turned to look at me with his pitch black eyes.

"Evans if you can hear me please I will like for you to let him go please. I don't think you should be doing this in front of your mother. I don't think she will like that. Just let me go I'm sure he has learnt his lesson." I said gently as I wasn't trying to annoy him. He looked at me for a while as he kept breathing fast.

"ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT ME TO LET HIM GO AFTER HE JUST DISRESPECTED YOU AND TRIED TO HIT YOU?" he asked lowly.

"Yes please. I'm sure he has surely learnt his lesson. Right?" I asked the doctor who was still shaking in fear.

"Yes I swear I will never do it again." he said quickly.

"Good now you have heard him so please let him go already." I begged Evans.

"FINE. YOU BETTER BE THANKFUL TO HER. IF NOT FOR HER, I WOULD HAVE RIPPED YOUR HANDS OFF." Evans said as he let the doctor go.

"Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you sir. Thank you ma. Thank you." the doctor kept saying as he rushed to the door.

Now it's only me and Evans who still looked so wild.

"Evans are you okay?" I slowly asked him.

He shut his eyes for a bit before opening them. He walked to me and pulled me into his chest hugging me tightly as he sniffed on my neck. I let him be as I knew he was trying to calm down.

After he was done sniffing my neck, he kept holding me not letting me go. He laid his head on my neck. I raised my hand up and placed one on his back while the other went up to his hair. I slowly rubbed them. That was the only thing I could think of doing for him. We all stayed standing in each other arms without saying a word or attempting to pull away.

I felt something wet drop on my shoulder. I was surprised when I noticed it was Evans tears. He was crying.

What do I do now that he was crying? What should I say to him? I have never seen him cry so I didn't know how I was going to comfort him. I couldn't think of anything so I kept quiet and continued rubbing his back and hair as he continued to wet my shoulder with his tears.

After I think three minutes or so, I felt the tears stopped.

"Rosie I don't know what to do. She hasn't woken up yet. I can't help but feel worried sick." he said with his normal voice. He was back to his usual self. Finally.

"Don't worry she will definitely wake up. You just have to believe in her and have some faith that she will definitely wake up. She knows that there is no way she is going to ever leave you or your dad. She will fight to replace her way back to you both." I said to him. "I don't know what to do anymore." he said weakly.

"I think you need some rest. Some rest will be better." I said.

"I don't think I can rest when I know my mum is in this condition. I can't leave her. I want to be here and watch her wake up." he said.

"I totally understand. Alright let's do it this way, since you need some rest and you can't go home you can just rest here instead. And don't worry, I will wake you up when I notice she's waking up." I said hoping he agrees.

"Are you sure you will wake me up?" he asked.

"Certainly." I answered him.

He slowly lifted his head and looked at me. I looked back at him and all I could see was how weak he looked. His eyes lost it's life. It looked completely dead to me.

I held his hand and guided him to the couch that there in the room. I sat on the couch and made him sit down too. I slowly pulled his head to my laps then I began to play with his hair slowly.

I didn't know what I was doing but I just wanted him to feel relaxed and rest.

His eyes kept looking at his mother. After some time, I noticed it was slowly closing. He would close it then open it back like he was fighting the sleep. But finally he shut his eyes surrendering himself to sleep. I smiled as I watched him sleep.

The door opened and Alpha Bryan entered. He looked at us before walking to where he mate was. He sat down and held her hand. He didn't say a word and I was scared to say a word also to him.

"What happened to him?" he spoke making me raise my head to him. His eyes were still on Luna Isabella.

"He is taking a rest." I answered him.

"I heard he had a clash with the doctor earlier. What was it about?" he asked looking at me this time.

"Erm actually the doctor came in earlier to look for you. I informed him that you were not around but I could deliver your message but he ignored me and said I should leave because I didn't belong here. I tried to explain to him that you were the one who said I should stay behind but he refused to listen to me. He raised his hand to slap me when Evans entered. He was very angry but it was a good thing I was able to beg him to let the doctor go." I explained to him.

"I see. But I was hoping he didn't let the doctor go."

I was shocked by his statement.

"I mean how dare he tries to hit a woman, you for that matter. He has to be punished for attempting to do that. And I will make sure of it." he said before his eyes gazed off. He was mind linking someone.

I tried to think of what punishment he was going to be given. I couldn't think of anything. I didn't know if his hand will be cut off as Evans said or maybe alpha Bryan will decide to give him another punishment that was worst than that. Anyways I was happy that at least the doctor gets to be punished but not in front of me or Luna Isabella. I don't think I can be able to watch.

I looked at the alpha and his eyes were fixed only on Luna Isabella. I decided to ask him the question that had been bothering me.

"Sorry but can I ask you a question sir?" I asked him.

He turned to me and nodded.

"Sure what is it?"

"What really happened to the Luna? How did she get attacked?" I asked him.

He took a deep breath before letting out a sigh.

"Well we just had breakfast and she left the house that she wanted to see a neighbor. I was waiting for her to return when I heard her panicked voice through our mind link. The only thing she said was rogues before I felt a sharp pain. That was when I knew something bad had happened to her. I rushed out of the house only to see her on the floor with blood gushing out of her body. My Bella was right in front of me struggling to breathe." he voice sounded pained.

"I am sorry." I actually didn't know why I was apologizing. I just felt the need to apologize.

"There is no need to be sorry Rosie. Those bastards have been punished. I made sure to replace them and kill them all. Evans also got his own share of revenge. They weren't so wise to leave like how they entered so we caught them in no time."

I let out a sigh when I heard those who hurt Luna Isabella were all dead. I don't think they deserve any mercy or forgiveness for what they did.

"Rosie why do you wake Evans up and you both should return back home. I will be fine looking at my Bella." he said.

"I'm sorry but I can't leave. I promised Evans that we will both wait for Luna Isabella to wake up before we can leave. I don't think I will rest when without seeing her wake up so please let us stay with you." I begged him.

He didn't say a word he just turned to look at his mate. I will take that as his way of saying we can stay.

I sat down for long. My legs were already feeling numb because of Evans weight but I said nothing. He was still sleeping soundly. I looked up to see Alpha Bryan was also sleeping too. I guess he was also feeling tired. Everyone was asleep except me.

I had nothing to do so I began to play with Evans hair and face hoping he doesn't wake up. I kept playing with him when I raised my head to look at Luna Isabella to see if she was awake. My eyes caught some movement. I quickly looked at her hand closely trying to be sure of what I just saw. Then it happened again.

Her finger moved.
