ANGEL'S

POV

snacks around him with some can drink.

"Baby is that you?" I smiled as I heard my mate's voice the moment I entered our house. He knew I was the one but he still decided to ask again. I didn't answer him as I walked into the living room to see him sitting on the couch watching football. He had wraps of "Nate hope you know that after you are done here, you will arrange the whole place and keep it clean?" I asked him with my hands on my waist.

He stood up and walked to me with a smile on his handsome face. He pulled me to his shirtless chest hugging me tightly. I hugged him back as I was so exhausted to push him away.

"I missed you so much. You came home late this time, it's pass 6. What happened?" he asked as he pulled away. We sat on the couch. Immediately my b**t touched the soft couch, I let out a loud sigh. It was so relaxing. I had been standing all day as we had multiples of practical classes.

Nate bent to remove my shoes then he raised my legs and placed them on his laps. He began to massage them making me to close my eyes as I was enjoying the feeling of his hands relieving my day stress. "We had series of practicals today. It wasn't easy but I learnt alot." I answered his question which I left hanging for a while.

"So sorry about that my love. Tell me what do you want to eat I can get it for you right away. Also will you like to take a hot shower to wash away all the stress and hospital smell that's on you?" he asked. That's Nate. He was very caring and loving. He didn't care about his sports like other men instead his attention was on me.

"I will take my bath first but then you can order pizza and chicken that's all I want to have right now." I said to him.

"Alright then. Let's go upstairs." he said as he dropped my legs carefully off his laps. He stood up and lifted me up. He carried me in his arms.

"Nate what are you doing?" I asked him.

"Carrying my stressed out mate. I don't want you to use your legs it needs some rest already. So just let me take care of you and don't complain. Besides I know you like it." he said smiling.

"You know me better. Of course you know I love being treated like a queen." he said as he opened the door to our bedroom.

"Excuse me but you are wrong about one thing. I'm a queen already so it's necessary to be treated as one." I said as I dramatically flipped my hair.

He shaked his head and began to laugh. He dropped me on the bed.

"Whatever you say my queen. Now remove your clothes while I get you something to wear after your shower." he said before he walked to the wardrobe.

"So how's Luna Isabella doing right now?" I asked him since I knew he will definitely go to pay her a visit.

Because of school I haven't gotten a chance to see her after she was discharged from the hospital.

"She's getting stronger and better. Infact she walked out of the house today." I heard him say.

"That's good news. I'm happy to hear that really. How is Rosie doing? I haven't seen her ever since Luna Isabella was hospitalized. She has been busy." I asked after my best friend.

"Rosie is doing fine although she doesn't like to rest. She only does that when alpha Bryan force her too. She doesn't listen to Evans at all when he advice her to take a rest. She doesn't mind staying with Luna Isabella all the time."

"I can't blame her. Luna Isabella's attack must have shocked her because she actually likes her so much. She is comfortable with her and she doesn't know it but she unconsciously sees Luna Isabella as a mother figure. I feel sad for her honestly when I remember she has been an orphan for a long time."

He walked to the bed and dropped a light top and his shirt with my lace panties.

"At least she is doing fine and that's all that matters. Anyways you need to go and visit Luna Isabella because she has always been asking after you anytime I come around." he said.

"Alright I will pay her a visit when I have a free day. Time to take my bath. Thank you for my clothes." I said as I stood up and removed my clothes. I wore my towel and went to the bathroom.

As Nate said earlier, the hot bath did the trick. J felt so relaxed after my bath. I walked out of the bathroom. Nate wasn't anywhere to be found. I'm guessing he went down to get food. I dressed up and went to meet him.

I saw him clearing the living room he messed up. He actually took me seriously.

"Why didn't you leave it for later?" I asked him as I sat on the couch picking a bag of unfinished chips.

"No you need the place tidy. If I leave it the same you will not let me rest because you will disturb me about how your house looks unkept." he said.

"Well your right about that. Anyways what about my pizza?" I asked him.

"Don't worry it's on it's way. I have already ordered for it."

It was like the delivery man was waiting for him to finish talking before he rang the doorbell.

"I will go get it." I stood up hurriedly but Nate beat me to it.

"No stay back. There is no way I'm going to allow you go see a man in just shorts." he said as he walked to the door.

I heard him open the door and was surprised when I heard Evans voice instead. I decided to disobey Nate's order and I walked to the door only to see him and Rosie. Rosie was frowning. Did they fight or something? "Sure man you can spend some time here before going back home. Infact Angel just finished talking about you Rosie. She missed you and she's sad she has seen you for a while now. Come on in you guys." They entered and stopped when they saw me.

"Babe they will be staying for a while. I think the alpha decided to drive them out of his house." Nate said with a smirk on his face.

"Shut up Nate or I punch you. If not that smith went to see his parents, I would have stayed with him instead." Evans said glaring at my mate.

They all walked to the living and sat down. Nate had to stand up again when the bell rang again.

This time it was finally the delivery man who came with my pizza and chicken.

Evans came with three boxes of Pizza and two boxes of chicken.

"It's a good thing I ordered much or else you would have just watched as we eat alone." Nate said.

"Like I will allow you do that. Instead you will be the one watching instead." he replied rolling his eyes.

I turned to Rosie who hasn't uttered a single word.

"Hey Rosie are you okay? You have been quiet since you came in. Is everything okay?" I asked her.

"I'm fine Angel just that I didn't want to leave the house." she said.

"Don't worry to much. I'm sure the alpha sent you away because he wanted to spend some time with his mate. You know closeness with your mate is an important way in making someone heal quickly so I'm guessing he wanted to be alone. Cheer up." I said to her. "Also you need rest too Rosie. You haven't been going to school and have refused to leave the house. Its a good idea for us to come here so you can come out a bit." Evans added slowly.

She nodded her head.

We all eat the pizza and chicken together talking and laughing. Rosie slowly joined us. She was coming back to how she use to behave before. She began, interact and smile.

I told her stories of my new school and how I was struggling.

"I'm telling you Rosie it's not easy at all. I hardly have enough time for me to take care of my self. I missed shopping and also I missed spending moments with you and Maria."

I said feeling sad.

"No need to feel sad Angel. We are proud of you as you are working hard. I'm sure when you are done you will surely have enough time for us so don't think much about it only read your books and make us proud." she said smiling. I smiled back at her.

"Follow me." I stood up and took her to somewhere the boys won't hear what we were saying.

"So what's the update about you and Evans?" I asked them.

I knew they were getting closer and closer every day. It was very obvious. I needed her to tell me herself the answers I wanted to hear.

"Well nothing special has happened so far because of his mother's health. Also we have been busy with her than ourselves although he has been showing me that he has actually changed." she replied.

"So when are you going to accept him then since you said it yourself that he had changed?" I asked her.

"I don't know. We only need to focus on Luna Isabella health first then after that we can focus on every other thing. Now she needs someone beside her and I can't leave her." she said.

"Fine then but don't waste any more time okay. I can't wait for you both to have a happy ending." I said smiling.

"I also can't wait to have my happy ending. It's seems like it's taking forever to have one." she said letting out a sigh.

"Let's go back to the boys. I'm sure they have been waiting for us. We can't let them feel disturbed because of our absence." I said then we went to the living room.

We spent our night just talking and enjoying each others company.

I missed this and hope to do it again.
