ROSIE

POV

Evans kept playing with my hair slowly as we stayed cuddled together on the bed. We didn't say a word to each other but the silence was satisfying. Just listening to him breath was relaxing. How I wish we could stay like this for a long time. I think I said that immediately because just after I thought that, His phone rang. He let out a loud groan as he held me tight. He refused to pick the call. The phone rang again. It seems to be an important call. "Evans why don't you just pick the call. It might be important." I said to him.

"I don't want to pick it because it might be needing my attention and I don't want to leave you." he sa

'Me too. I thought in my head.

"But what if it's very important, you don't know. Don't worry you can go and come back. We will continue before sleeping." I said smiling.

"Promise?" he pouted like a child making me to laugh at his cute face.

"Promise now pick the call already the noise is too much."

He carried his phone and answered the call. I looked at him as he was listening to whoever was talking on the other line. His face suddenly changed to angry and serious.

"I will be there soon." he said before he hanged up.

Whatever news the person told him must have been bad because he looked so pissed.

"Hey are you okay? Is everything alright? Did something happen?" I asked him.

He raised his head to look at me and tried to force a smile although I knew it was so fake.

"I'm fine Rosie. I'm sorry but I need to go somewhere right now." he said as he stood up.

I laid on the bed with my eyes on him as I watched him dress. He was ready and was about to leave the room when I called him back.

"Evans." I called out.

"Yes." he replied turning to look at me.

"Can you please come."

He walked to the side of the bed. I knelt on the bed and held his face as I gave him a quick kiss before hugging him. I felt him relax and he wrapped his hands on my waist "What was that for?" he asked softly.

"Well just trying to calm you down because I noticed you weren't fine as you said earlier." I replied.

He kissed my cheeks.

"Thank you. I feel calm now. If you are bored you can go see Mr Drew. I'm sure you miss him." he said before leaving.

I smiled as I watched him leave. I found it sweet when he mentioned that I could go and see Mr Drew. I missed going to the restaurant. It has been long.

I laid down when I sat up immediately.

"SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT DREW." I shouted.

I quickly jumped down from the bed and began to search for my school bag. I found it and quickly took the book he asked for. I quickly rushed outside with it. I searched around and sighed when I saw him standing behind a tree. I walked to him. "Drew I'm so sorry. Something came up that I forgot to bring the book. Please don't be angry." I apologized immediately I got to where he was standing.

He looked at me with a smile on his face. I wanted him to frown. I wanted him to be mad at me and not smiled at me.

"It's fine Rosie. Besides I totally understand why you kept me waiting. I mean I can smell it." he said sending me a wink. I couldn't stop myself from blushing as I understand what he meant.

"Really I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting. Here is the book you asked for." I said giving him the book.

"Thank you. Now I have to go will see you in school." he said before walking away.

I turned and walked back to the house. I was about to climb the staircase when my stomach let out a loud growl. It was trying to remind me that I haven't eaten yet. I didn't know if the alpha was still around or if he and his mate has left the kitchen already. My stomach grumbled again. It seems it was trying to tell me it didn't care about Alpha Bryan and Luna Isabella it only wants to be fed.

"Alright then. Let's take the risk and go to the kitchen." I said to it getting another sound for an answer.

I turned and headed to the kitchen. I first knocked and waited for a while. When I heard nothing, I opened the door and entered the kitchen. I did a triumph dance when I saw the kitchen was empty.

I rushed to look for food. I was so happy and relieved when I found some sandwiches on a plate. I didn't know who's sandwich it was and because I was hungry, I didn't have time to ask who has it. I made a hot glass of milk.

Then I sat down on a small chair in the kitchen as I started eating.

I was about to eat the last sandwich when Luna Isabella entered. I felt like I was caught committing a crime. I couldn't bite the sandwich. I quickly placed it on the plate and looked at her.

"Oh Rosie your here." she said smiling at me.

"Yes Luna good morning. I'm sorry for eating this sandwich. I was hungry and couldn't help myself that's why I ate it without asking you for permission." I said not waiting for her to ask about it.

She laughed as she shaked her head.

"You don't need to worry Rosie. Actually I made that sandwich for you. Evans told me you caught Bryan and I in the kitchen and I figured you were hungry that's why you entered the kitchen in the first place. So I decided to make it up to you by making you a sandwich. I am here to actually check if you have eaten them already. I'm glad you are already eating it." she said.

I blushed when I remembered the incident I saw earlier. No matter how I try to forget about it, I just can't get it off my mind.

"I am sorry for intruding you both privacy. I didn't know you both were in the kitchen I would have maybe knocked or leave without entering." I apologized.

"No dear you don't need to apologize for anything. Besides this isn't our bedroom so we should have known better. Anyway I have to go see someone quickly will be back soon. But I guess when I'm back you won't be here."

I got confused when she said the last sentence.

"Sorry what do you mean I won't be here if you are return?" I asked her curiously.

"Oh Evans already told me you might be going to Mr Drew's restaurant to see him so I thought I won't see you when I return."

I didn't know Evans had already told her that I will be going out.

"Alright. Bye Luna." I said. She smiled before leaving the kitchen. I ate the last sandwich and drank all the milk before I washed my plates. I went upstairs to change into something presentable.

After I changed into my old big clothes, I left the house and walked to Mr Drew's restaurant. I entered and smiled as I took in the scent of the dishes that are either on the oven or stove. I missed this familiar feeling. As usual the place was crowded with customers. I walked to the counter to see Mr Drew and Steph walking everywhere. I noticed two girls with them too. I guess he has finally decided to hire more workers.

"Hello, how is everyone doing?"

Mr Drew raised his head first to look at me before the others followed.

"ROSIE." he said smiling as he walked close to the counter.

"It been ages since I last saw you." he added.

"Mr Drew it hasn't been up to a year already so can you stop exaggerating it." I said to him smiling.

"Well it felt like ages to me. I must say you really look so good. I don't have to ask how you are doing because I can see you are doing just fine." he said.

"I can also see your doing well too and business is booming so well."

"Look who is here again. You only come once in a while then you disappear for days without even checking up on us." Steph said with a frown on his face.

"Awwn did someone miss me?" I teased him.

I heard a low growl making me to look at one of the new employees. She was openly glaring at me which made me wonder what her problem was with me because I don't know her.

I kept looking at her when I noticed Steph moved to her and whispered something into her ears. Whatever he said to her made her change her facial expression. That was when it occurred to me that she was Steph's mate.

"It's a lie. Steph you have found your mate?" I exclaimed.

He smiled and began to scratch the back of his head.

"Well yes I have. Rosie meet Amber. Love this is Rosie, our future Luna."

"Steph really you just had to say that. That wasn't necessary you know. Just introducing me as Rosie was better." I said rolling my eyes.

"Like I care about that. I have to brag that I'm friends with the future Luna." he said pushing his chest out.

"Weirdo.. anyways nice to meet you Amber. You look beautiful by the way and sorry if you got the wrong impression about me earlier. I'm just Steph friend and that's all. His all yours I assure you." I said to his mate making her blush.

"Alright since your here Rosie go replace somewhere to sit. Nikki here will get you something to eat. I won't allow you to work so don't even think of it. Your a guest here and I will treat you as one so hold on." Mr Drew said.

I couldn't argue with him because I knew he won't listen so I looked for an empty table and sat on the chair. The other girl who I guess is Nikki came with a tray and served me with cake, burger and chips. I thanked her and began to eat as I kept looking at everything that was happening in the restaurant.

I was still eating when five huge men entered the restaurant. They walked straight to where I was sitting down.

"Excuse us but you have to come with us." one said.

"To where? Also I don't know you so why should I go with you?" I asked them.

"Sorry but you can't ask questions. Now follow us quietly or else."

I looked at Mr Drew who looked worried. I didn't trust the man's last statement 'or else.' I didn't know what they could do and I can't let them hurt anyone here. I decided to follow then. I gave Mr Drew a smile to reassure him that everything was fine before I stood up. "Lead the way." I said to them.
