Chapter 98

ROSIE POV

I was surprised to see the car I was in packing in front of Alpha Bryan's house. Here I thought they were bad people.

They climbed down from the car and I followed suit. I entered the house with them walking behind. I knew that something was going on. I could just feel it.

I walked inside the living room. Immediately I entered, Evans quickly stood up and rushed to hug me.

I was taken aback to his reaction. I looked over him shoulder to see Alpha Bryan holding Luna Isabella who looked worried. I wonder what was going on and why the atmosphere was to intense. "What's going on?" I asked them.

Evans slowly released me. He held my hand and pulled me to a couch making me to sit down before he sat right next to me.

"Are you okay Rosie? Did you see anything strange or did you see anyone strange?" Luna Isabella asked.

I was confused about her question. Something definitely happened.

"I'm fine Luna. And no I didn't see anything strange or any body who looked strange. I went straight to Mr Drew's restaurant." I answered her.

"Are you sure Rosie? Think if you remembered someone following you and watching you behind." Alpha Bryan said.

I thought hard trying to remember if I saw someone following me but I just couldn't remember seeing anyone who was following me.

"No alpha. No one was following me behind. What is happening? I'm getting scared."

Evans placed his hands on mine holding me tight as his own way of calming me down.

"Rosie we need to talk about something so important and also come up with an agreement although I think you won't like it but please you have to just accept it." Alpha Bryan said looking so serious.

I nodded my head as I didn't know what to say to him.

"So Rosie, there has been something happening for a while now and we didn't tell you because we thought not to scare you or make you feel uncomfortable. But now it's getting out of hand and we want you to be careful also so we have no other choice but to tell you." he started.

I didn't know what he was going to say next but I could tell it wasn't good news. It must be really serious for them to decide to tell me.

"The thing is remember the last rogue attack that happened?" he asked me.

"Uhmm are you referring to the one that happened to the Luna?" I asked.

"No not that one but we found out recently that it was actually linked. I'm referring to the attack that happened when you went for sleep over." he said.

It rang a bell. I remembered the scary incident that happened. How I was almost attacked. I shake my head trying to remove the bad memory from my head.

"Yes I remember that incident." I said to him.

"Good. Evans interrogated the rogue we captured and he found something from them."

I turned to Evans whose eyes were fixed on his father. He had a frown on his face. I could tell what he found was bad news.

It seems he felt me looking at him because he turned his face to me and gave me a warm smile. I guess he was trying to calm me down because I knew he could tell I looked so troubled about the whole thing.

"Evans found out the reason for them attacking you and the girls that night. Their main target was actually you." Alpha Bryan said.

I turned to look at him with a surprised look on my face.

"Me? Why me? What do they have against me? I don't know any rogue so why do they want to harm me when I have never harmed any of them?" I asked them as I was feeling scared and troubled.

"Calm down Rosie. Don't worry I won't let them harm you. I promise." Evans said as he rubbed my hands.

"But Evans I don't get how they know me in the first place. I can't remember talking to any rogue so why me? Why does it have to be me?" I asked him.

"Rosie I need you to calm down. It's true you have never seen them before but we heard something from them." Alpha Bryan said.

I took some quick breaths as I was trying to calm down so I could hear what more is there to hear.

"From what they said, their master wants you to be his bride."

"HIS WHAT?" I couldn't hold myself anymore. I shouted out in shock and surprise.

"Hey calm down." Evans said.

"How do you expect me to calm down Evans when I just heard that a rogue master wants me to be his bride when I know nothing about who the hell he is or what he looks like? I can't calm down. I just can't. The thoughts alone scares me. So because he wanted me be attacked me and also hurt Luna Isabella? What more harm has he caused or will he cause again just to take me with him? I can't get married to him. I can't be taken by him please." I begged as I was scared for my life.

Evans pulled me to his chest and rubbed my back as he was trying to calm me down for I was a mess.

"Listen nothing will happen to you I promise you. I will never let any fucking bastard take you away from me because you are mine and mine alone. I'm not going to share you with someone else. I rather die than to watch you become someone else bride. Never." he said

I raised my head to look at his eyes.

"Are you sure?"

"I am very sure Rosie. Trust me. I won't allow anyone take you away from me." he said with full confidence.

His words calmed me down as he gave me assurance. I would believe him.

"So now Rosie, we have been receiving threats messages and pictures of you. We believe that he has an insider and we need to replace whoever it is before it's too late. The person has been following your every move and taking pictures of you. You need to be safe so as much as I'm sure you won't like this idea, I think you need to stay at home from now hence forth. You shouldn't be going to school for the meantime. You can't go anywhere. The house will be under 24 hours protection. Those men who fetched you earlier will be part of your guards. Try and understand we are doing this for your safety. " Alpha Bryan said to me.

I didn't like the idea of being confided in the house but I had no other choice because it was for my safety.

"Alright I will stay at home but please try to replace out who the person in charge of all this is so I can be free again." I said.

"Don't worry we will surely replace who the bastard is. He needs to be punished for trying to hurt you and also for hurting my mate. I haven't forgiven him for that." Alpha Bryan said.

"Rosie I'm sure Bryan and Evans will do their best to get whoever is trying to get you. So I need you to relax but also be watchful also. If you notice any strange moment let us know. It's better if we know no matter how little it is. It's better to be safe than sorry. Okay." Luna Isabella said with a warm smile on her face. I could feel she was trying to calm me down since she was my Luna and it's her duty to care for her people.

I smiled at her and nodded my head.

"Lets go upstairs I'm sure you must be tired." Evans said to me. I felt grateful to him for speaking because it was like he actually read my mind. I was so tired from everything. The news alone is energy draining.

"Yes son take her upstairs so she can rest. Also sorry Rosie for interrupting your visit to Mr Drew's place. When everything is over you are free to go there." Luna Isabella said.

"Alright. Excuse me now I need to go upstairs to rest." I said as I stood up. Evans stood up with me too and together we went upstairs to his room. When we entered, he made me lay on the bed and he covered me with blanket. He sat beside me and held my hand. "I would love to stay beside you but I'm sorry Rosie I have to go downstairs to join my dad as we talk on how to replace a solution." he said looking sad.

"I understand. You don't need to worry about me I will be fine and I will be here waiting for you." I replied.

"If you need anything don't forget or hesitate to call me and I will get whatever you want okay?" he asked.

"Evans I will be fine. Just concentrate on whatever you want to do and don't think too much about me. If anything happens I will let you know. And I will be safe so don't worry." I said to him trying to reassure him.

"I know you will be fine but I can't stop being worried. I don't want that freaking bastard to try anything to take you away from me. Heck I don't know who to trust so I can't tell what his next moves will be. I need to ensure you will really be safe even though I'm not going to be around." he said rubbing his hair.

"If it will make you feel better, I will lock myself in here. I won't open the door to anyone except if it's you or your mom. Are you okay with that?" I asked.

"Yes that will be okay. Please don't forget to call me if anything happens okay?" he said.

"Yes noted." I replied.

He kissed my forehead and walked to the door. Before he opened it he turned to look at me with a worried look on his face. I gave him a small smile to pass him the message that I was fine. He gave me a small smile too before opening the door. He left the room shutting the door behind.

I got down from the bed and locked the door. Now that I was alone, I began to think about what I just heard today and I tried to think who the master of these rogues are.
