Chapter 12

A loud knock sprang the two of them up simultaneously. Killian stared through the curtains, the sun shone brightly which hinted the dawn of another day. The knock persisted once again.

Killian walked down the bed, and yanked the door open.

"Why must you disturb me in the early mornings?"

A guard stood in front of Killian, his head slightly bowed.

"Good morning, my Alpha. I was told to inform you that you have an urgent meeting with the silver bird pack." The guard replied.

Killian sighed. The silver bird pack had been their business partner over the years.

"I will be there in a minute." Killian responded and slammed the door shut.

Sara's lips wore a bright smile as Killian turned to her,

"Hope all is well?" She asked him.

"Of course. I just have a business meeting to attend to, and it's very urgent."

Killian wore his clothes, and striped his belt around him.

"Danger lurks around, so don't go anywhere. Wait for me to come back." Killian said, as he walked out of the room.

Sara nodded. She placed her hand on her chest as memories of the previous night filled her brain.

The way Killian had kissed and romanticized her was heavenly. She could remember vividly how he interlocked his tongue with her's, and playfully fumbled with her tities. Somehow, she longed for more.

"You belong to me, and can only be mine." Killian's sharp and thick voice rang in her ear.

Suddenly, a huge knock banged on the door, which forced Sara out of her thoughts. "Who is that?" She asked curiously.

"My lady, it's me." Violet replied. She creaked the door open, and walked in.

Sara placed her hand on her thudding chest, her heart racing with a great speed. She coughed slightly as she patted her own chest.

"You scared me."

"The moon priestess wants to see you." Violet said to her.

"What? The moon priestess?" A confused Sara asked.

She couldn't help but reason why the moon priestess sought her attention.

"Yes, my lady. She requests for your presence right now." Violet said with a bow. "Alright, I will join her in a moment." Sara responded, while Violet left the room. She sighed. She clearly remembered Killian's warning.

"Danger lurks around, don't go anywhere." His voice rang in her ears. But this was the moon priestess that called for her.

"I really have no choice." She said with a sigh.

She hurried into the bathroom and took her shower, humming softly as she poured the water on her soft body.

Midway into the shower, a man walked into the apartment, and headed towards the bathroom.

Unknown to Sara, who was fully naked, the man was approaching her as fast as he could.

The sound of water drops didn't stop the man's urge to see Sara's nakedness as he flung the door open immediately.

Sara stood electrified to the ground, her eyes bulged wide, and her mouth dropped. She stared in shock at the man, who ran his lustful eyes all over her. It was Leon.

Sara stood up slowly from the bed, she was dripping wet.

"What am I thinking?" She shook her head, and wore her clothes hurriedly.

"Let's go." She said to Violet as she appeared in the compound.

It was a few minutes walk down to the moon priestess' exquisite building. Her mansion was second to Killian's palace.

"Greetings, the wise one. You called for me." Sara greeted the old woman that sat in the middle of a large room, with two big windows responsible for the huge light that entered into the room.

The moon priestess flung her eyes at Sara, and chanted some words which seemed inaudible to Sara.

"You are a hybrid, a part-witch descent." The moon priestess said, as she locked her eyes with Sara's.

"Your presence around Killian would only bring nothing but harm to him as your powers opposed each other." The moon priestess continued.

A shocking expression was written all over Sara's face.

"What?"

"You heard me right." The moon priestess replied sharply.

Sara's eyes twitched as she cleared her throat.

"So what's the solution?" She asked fearfully. The moon priestess gave her a smirk, and said some words to her which made her eyes open wide. The bag she was holding fell off her hands immediately.

Three men ran towards Sara as she walked absentmindedly back to her palace. Her mind was clouded with thoughts, the moon priestess' words rang in her mind every second, that she never saw the men approaching her.

She felt a huge force lift her up from the ground, and she was being rushed away. "Here is she, master." One of the men said as they dropped Sara. "Welldone." A thick voice said, which was followed by a huge laughter. The voice felt familiar to Sara. She raised her head slowly to get a clear view of who the person was.

"Jared!" She screamed in shock, as he smiled mischievously at her, roaring with an evil laughter.
