"Give us your blessings, moon priestess. We've accepted our mate bond, and thankfully, the prophecy can be reversed." Zayne smiled at Betty as he said to the moon priestess.

The moon priestess nodded her head, walked towards Betty and smiled.

"Betty, right?" She inquired, slowly grabbing Betty's injured leg and applied some whitish cream on it.

"Yes, moon priestess. I fell in love with Zayne at a glance, and I can say that I want to spend the rest of my life with him." Betty replied to the moon priestess who simply nodded her head without looking at her.

The moon priestess took a deep breath, and glanced at Zayne.

"It's done. Her leg should be perfectly healed in three days." She stated, packing her stuff back into the bag.

"Thank you moon priestess. It's our honor to have you here." Zayne responded, still smiling at Betty.

The moon priestess looked at Betty for a while, before a worried expression formed on her face.

She seemed to give off a mixture of auras, one seemed calm and relaxing, while the other one felt so alarming. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't wrap her head around the issue.

She sighed, raised her head at Zayne and said to him;

"Can I see you privately, my Alpha?" The moon priestess requested, causing Zayne and Betty to throw a glance at each other.

"Is anything the problem, honored one?" Zayne asked as curiosity and worry filled his face.

The moon priestess, who did not want to alarm Betty, simply smiled, and shook her head.

"I just want to discuss some trivial matters with you, it's not worth having a headache over." She replied to him.

"Alright then." Zayne concurred. He rested Betty on the bed, pecked her on the forehead and left the room after promising her to be back very soon.

"My Alpha. I understand that you need a mate before the next full moon which is next tomorrow. Don't you feel like we should verify the identity of that girl? I mean, we don't even know where she is from, the pack she belongs to. What if she is an enemy? Or someone sent to spy on us?" The moon priestess remarked immediately they arrived at a safe place where they could talk.

Zayne smiled, tapping his toes on the floor.

"It's that why you called me?" He asked casually, causing the moon priestess to raise her left eyebrow in surprise.

"Isn't it worth calling you for?" She sighed as she replied to him.

"I understand your concern, honored one. But she is the one meant for me, I could feel the mate bond, it was there." Zayne replied, clenching his hands into fists and pushing them forward as he explained to the moon priestess.

"I could feel my heart burning for her, I wanted her. I just want to..."

"What about Sara?" The moon priestess interrupted, which bridged the words from coming out of Zayne's mouth.

Zayne suddenly went silent, scratching his head as he couldn't replace a perfect reply for her.

"My Alpha?" The moon priestess called out after about thirty seconds of awkward silence.

"I am not giving up on her. I am never ending my feud with Killian. If he can have her, so can I. I want everything that he holds dear, including his pack." Zayne fumed, his eyes bulged wider and thick veins aligned on his neck.

"So what do you plan on using Sara for when you eventually get her?"

"My concubine. I will make her my concubine. Since I now have a mate, then everything needed is complete. I can have heaven's blessings, attack the blue moon pack, and eliminate everyone of them. Only then will the red moon pack be at peace, and Sara will eventually be mine." Zayne yelled, recalling the hatred that was deeply rooted between the two packs.

His personal beef with Killian started when Killian's father was accused of murdering Zayne's father so he could be the leader of all packs.

Even though Killian's father denied it, it was widely believed among many wolves.

Shockingly, Killian's father also disappeared a few days later.

"If you say so, my Alpha. I just want everyone to be safe. It won't be too bad if we take

the necessary precautions." The moon priestess said, bowed and walked away.

Zayne took a deep breath, calmed himself and walked back to the room.

"What took you so long?" Betty, who was already half naked, asked him.

Zayne stared at her beautiful body and licked his lips lustfully.

"I am so sorry for keeping you waiting." He immediately pulled off his robe, and joined Betty on the bed.

He kissed her softly as he unbuckled her bra from behind, before fumbling with her breasts. He caressed her body, rested his hand on her cleavage while soft moans escaped her.

He pulled the blanket over the two of them, swinging into action.

"I felt so great inside you." Zayne commented as he played with Betty's hair.

Betty smiled, placed her head on Zayne's chest and rubbed his muscular and athletic body.

"I just had the greatest time. By the way, I heard of how you became the Alpha of the pack. As your wife, I feel like I should know about your parents. I already heard of your father, how about your mother?" Betty asked casually, but Zayne's expression suddenly stiffened, and his eyes became reddened.

"My mother...she died in a great fire caused by the blue moon pack. My enmity with the blue moon pack is so deep, and I will avenge both of my parents' deaths." He stated fiercely, exuding a deadly aura.

"The blue moon pack?"

"Yes. Killian's father killed my father, and that same Killian set a fire into the bush during harmattan season. My mother and I were coming back from the market when we got caught up by the fire. To save me...she..." He paused as he struggled to get the words out of his mouth. Betty rose and pulled Zayne into her embrace.

"It's fine, I am here." She consoled him, rubbing his head gently.

"In order to save me, she used the forbidden spell of the red moon pack. She pleaded with the moon priestess to save me and transport me out of the burning bush, while she used herself as the sacrifice."

"I could hear her cries as the fire consumed her, but there was nothing I could do to save her, I was already being transported out of the forest." He said, wiping his eyes off the forming tears at the corners of his eyes.

"I am sorry you had to experience that." Betty said as she hugged him.

"I promise to help you with your revenge. The blue moon pack? I just saved a girl named Violet, and I have had her under my control by feeding her some potion. If she

wants to live, then she has to do my biddings." Betty said, while Zayne instantly raised his head, staring at Betty in confusion, while Betty simply smiled at him.

"You want Killian dead? Consider it done!"
