"My Alpha." Three guards bowed in front of Zayne, breathing hard as they stared at each other.

"What exactly happened? Just tell me." Zayne fired, as he brows furrowed in confusion. He leaned forward on his throne, his mind reeling for answers.

"It's about Sara, my Lord." One of the guards replied to him. Zayne jumped up from the throne as if the message had a stinging effect on his butt.

"What happened to her? Didn't I tell you to drop that corpse in front of the blue moon pack?" Zayne inquired as he marched towards the men. He grabbed one of them by the chin, his hot breath brushing the face of the guard.

"She...she has returned to Killian's side." The guard stuttered, bringing his head down as he avoided Zayne's fiery gaze.

Zayne staggered a few steps, he curled his fingers into a fist, clenching it so hard till his sharp fingers made a cut on his palm, causing blood to drip down his hand.

He bit his lower lip, turned around and slowly walked to the throne. He sat with his head buried in his arms.

"In what way am I inferior to you, Killian? Why would she choose you over me. Even when she lost her memories, I could still feel that she was missing someone. Just why? Why?" He thought to himself, gritting his teeth against another.

He was still immersed in the pain when a warm scent suddenly flowed through his nostrils. He immediately raised his head, scanned the whole area, but there was no one except for the vulgar, stone-hearted guards that stood in front of him, and it was very much impossible that one of them had given off such scent.

He sighed, thinking he was probably overthinking. He prepared to bury his head in his hands when the scent hit him again.

This time around, he stood up from the seat, and walked out of the throne room.

The scent seemed stronger with each step he took.

"You guys can leave." He ordered the guards, determined to replace the owner of the scent that lingered in the air.

The rain had suddenly stopped, so there was no hindrance to him looking for the person.

He dashed into a forest, and he did not only perceive the scent, he felt something pulling him, something drawing him into the deeper parts of the forest.

The pain he felt from the pull was so excruciating, that he held his chest tightly.

"Is this the mate pull?" He asked himself as he took what seemed to be his third detour.

Almost immediately, he heard a faint cry, and he raised his eyes sharply in that direction. He increased his pace as he hurried deep into the forest.

After about three minutes, he saw a beautiful young lady lying on the ground, with her ankle twisted backward.

He came into a sudden halt as the lady looked up at him. Her ocean blue eyes and her glowing skin that radiated under the sun captured Zayne's heart.

His mouth dropped and his heart crashed against his chest, beating rapidly than normal.

"Please...help me." The lady's soft voice traveled down Zayne's eardrums, causing his veins to pulsate.

He took some brief, yet steady steps towards the lady and slowly knelt beside her.

He couldn't help but sniff at her warm scent, it was exactly the one that had pulled him out of the throne room.

Zayne placed his hand on the lady's injured leg, while maintaining eye contact with her. The lady smiled faintly as she placed her finger on Zayne's face, running it down to his chest.

"Are you feeling it?" The lady whispered, revealing her captivating gap-tooth as she grinned widely.

Zayne smiled, held her hand warmly and placed it on his chest.

Leaning forward to the lady's ear, he whispered the word;

"Mate!"

"The Luna is back? Do you know what you are talk about?" One of the elders of the

blue moon pack asked, feeling startled and dumbstruck by the news.

"Yes, I saw it myself. She is on her way with the Alpha and an elder." The elders' assistant replied to him.

"That's surely good news. Tell the kitchen to prepare some exquisite meals to welcome back the Luna. We should throw a banquet for her tonight." The elder said happily, tapping his toes on the ground as he stared at the direction they would appear from. About five minutes later, Killian, Sara and the rest appeared at the pack's main gate. Everyone stared in utmost shock and disbelief as they laid their eyes on Sara.

Most of the pack members left their works and came to see their long-lost Luna whom they all thought was dead.

"The Luna isn't dead. Sara is alive." One of the members shouted in ecstasy.

Killian held Sara's hand, stared into her eyes and smiled.

He suddenly swept her off her feet, carried her in his arms and pressed a kiss on her forehead.

Everyone gasped in awe at what was happening. What shocked the guards even more was Violet. They had all seen her dead body in the prison house, and had thrown her into the bush to rot away.

"How come she is back to life?" One of Jared's surviving men asked himself, wrinkling his face into confusion.

Suddenly, the moon priestess walked into the crowd, bowed before Killian and smiled at Sara.

Sara beckoned Killian to place her down so she could greet the moon priestess. Killian did as she wanted, and Sara hurriedly bowed before the moon priestess. "Greetings, honored one. How have you been?" Sara asked, beaming with smiles and ecstasy.

"I am fine, my child. You've just walked the path that the heavens had prescribed for you, and I am glad you made it out alive." The moon priestess commended her, while Sara smiled.

"But Sara, a greater tribulation lurks around, and only you have the power to stop it from happening. Or if it eventually happens, only you can bring it to a halt. So, my child, prepare yourself for a fiercer battle." The moon priestess said, and turned around to leave.

Sara stared at Killian as she couldn't seem to understand a bit of the moon priestess message.

"Moon priestess. Can you tell me more about it?" Sara quickly asked. The moon priestess stopped, but didn't turn to face Sara as she revealed to her;

"With the advent of the war, all wolves will die, and the race of the Werewolves will come to a complete halt if you, Sara, do not take responsibility!"
