Chapter 33: A Job

Alpha Drake POV

After pleasuring Isabella till she passed out, I couldn’t help but lay in bed next to her. I felt smug at how obedient Isabella was being, it was like I had her under my spell and she was willing to agree with anything I said. She was so high off pleasure she couldn’t even talk back to me with her defiant mouth, I felt pretty satisfied with myself.

I pulled her body tight to mine and bury my face in the crook of her neck. She smelt so good, it helped my body relax and before I knew it I had fallen asleep holding her in my arms.

I woke up in the morning before Isabella did. I didn’t want her to feel awkward when she woke up so I decided to get out of bed and head to my own room .

Before I left her room, I took one last look at Isabella while she slept. Goddess she’s perfect and she’s mine, I thought before walking out of her room, gently closing the door behind me.

I got into my room and stripped my clothes off before jumping in the shower. I was feeling pretty damn good, pleasuring her was satisfying enough for me. She tasted so damn sweet, I could eat her perfect little p***y everyday and be a happy man.

Once I was done in the shower I got dressed in a pair of jeans and a black T-shirt, I brushed my fingers through my hair slicking it back and I was ready for the day.

I made my way to my office with a permanently etched smile on my face, nothing could ruin my day after last night with Isabella.

Once I was in my office I tried to read over some paperwork, but my thoughts just kept going back to Isabella and how perfect she is. I was brought back to reality by a knock at the door. “Come in” I said.

Erik and Jared walked into my office and sat across from me.

“Wow boss, your smiling? That’s a first, who is she.” Erik asked with a smirk, I could tell by the look on his face that he already knew the answer to his own question.

“Shut up a*****e.” I replied.

“Am I missing something here?” Jared said while glancing between us with a confused look.

“What do you want?” I decided to change the subject.

“We need to talk about border security now that Isabella is back. We have to assume the rogue Alpha isn’t going to give up on her that easily.” Erik said with a serious tone this time.

I rubbed my hands over my face knowing that he’s right, it’s probably not the last time we hear from the rogue Alpha.

“Ya your right, let’s double up on patrol and increase training by an hour everyday. We need to be prepared for an attack.”

“I’m on it boss, what do we tell the warriors? They’re going to wonder why the sudden change.” Jared asked.

“Tell them it’s just a precaution from all the attacks that happened at the B***d moon pack.” I replied and he nodded his understanding. There was another knock at the door. “Come in” I said.

Isabella open the door and she looked beautiful. She was wearing ripped skinny jeans and an blue off the shoulder crop top that made her beautiful blue eyes pop.

When Erik and Jared saw who it was, they both stood.

“Well we are going to take care of patrol and training boss, call us if you need anything else.” Erik said before they headed for the door.

“Isabella, I hope you slept well.” Erik said to her with a knowing smirk on his face. I watched her face blush in embarrassment.

“I did, thank you.” She replied barely above a whisper.

Erik and Jared left the office and closed the door behind them.

“Have a seat Isabella, how can I help you?” I asked her curiously.

“Ummmm, I want a job.” She blurted out.

“What?” I asked confused.

“If I’m going to be staying here for a while I need to be useful, I want to work.” She said. I wasn’t even listening anymore, all I could think was that she’s not just staying here for a while, she staying with me forever!

“I could join patrol. I’m a strong warrior, plus I used to do patrol back home.” She said and my attention was back on what she was asking me.

“No, absolutely not.” I said with a stern tone and she let out a huff.

“Why not? It could take a little pressure of your warriors having someone else in on the rotation.” She argued with irritation in her voice.

“No Isabella, it’s not negotiable.” I said with finality and now she looks pissed.

“Your impossible you know that?” She spat at me and before I could reply she continued. “Then, I challenge you to a fight.” She said while crossing her arms over her chest. I raised one of my eyebrows. What exactly does she think she’s doing? I didn’t say anything and just waited for her to continue.

“If I win, I get to join patrol.” She said with confidence.

“And what do I get if I win?” I asked her with curiosity.

“What do you want?” She asked while frowning her eyesbrows. Goddess, she looks so cute. I leaned back in my chair and tilted my head to the side as I thought for a moment.

“I want you to be obedient for an entire week. I mean do everything I ask of you without question or attitude.” I replied with a smirk. She looked at me like I had just asked for the moon, It was pretty entertaining to be honest. I really don’t want her on patrol so maybe she won’t accept my terms.

“Fine.” She said and I couldn’t figure out if I felt excited about this challenge or not. On one hand I absolutely don’t want Isabella on patrol, but on the other, having her obey me for an entire week is enticing.

“Tomorrow morning during our training session we will have our match.” I tell her, my smirk still plastered on my face.

“Alpha, I’m going to wipe that cocky smirk right off your face tomorrow.” She said with her own smirk.

“I’m looking forward to it.” I playfully threw back at her. Her confidence and determination are a huge turn on. I’m going to have to stay focused tomorrow, I hope she wears a baggy full body suit so I’m not distracted by her sexy body. Damn her and her perfect curves. I should of made the full bodysuit part of the deal.

She stood from her chair. “Well then, I’ll see you tomorrow, Alpha.” She said with a seductive smile before she turn to leave my office, her h**s swayed from side to side as she walked out, I could tell she was doing it on purpose. Damn it my c**k twitched in my pants at her sexy body, that little minx is going to be the death of me.

So much for me working, I need a cold shower now.

Isabella POV

When I woke up, I was alone in bed. Alpha Drake’s scent was still strong in the room, so he must of just left.

My whole body ached, specially my core. I blushed just at the thought of the pleasure he gave me.

I rolled out of bed and hoped in the shower. Today I was determined to speak with Alpha Drake and get myself a job.

Once I was done in the shower I got dressed and headed straight for his office. I knocked on the door and waited until I heard him say “come in.”

Erik and Jared were there when I opened the door, but they seemed to have been just finishing their conversation as they stood to leave when they saw me.

Erik took a jab at me on his way out by asking me if I slept well. I could tell by the smirk on his face that his question wasn’t as innocent as it sounded. Luckily Jared looked clueless to it. They both left the office and closed the door behind them.

Once I was alone with Alpha Drake my heart started beating fast, I felt almost nervous being around him now but I worked up the courage and asked him for a job.

When I suggested I join patrol he flat out denied me. What the hell is his problem? He should know by now that I am a strong warrior, it would be stupid for him not to use my skills.

I was pissed off and as usual spoke before thinking by challenging him to a fight. What the heck was I thinking? Like seriously I can’t lose this fight, I would die having to obey him for a whole week. This is not good, I really should of thought it through before I challenged him. Well there’s no backing down now, I better get training.

I left his office and headed back to my room, I’m going to have to give it my all tomorrow if I want to win this fight. I got dressed in a pair of spandex shorts and a blue sports bra.

As I made my down to the main floor of the pack house I came across Clair.

“Hey girl, where you off to?” She asked me.

“Umm, I gotta get some training in. You interested in a little sparing?” I asked her.

“Sure, let me go change, I’ll be right down.” She said before taking off up the stairs.

I stood on the main floor waiting for Clair when Erik walked in to the pack house. When he saw me a huge smile turned on his face.

“Isabella, where you off to?” He asked.

“Going to do a little training with Clair. I decided to speak without thinking again and I accidentally challenged Alpha Drake to a fight.” I said with a sigh and he chuckled. It’s not like Erik wasn’t going to replace out, the fight was during training tomorrow so everyone would know I challenged the Alpha.

“I’m sorry what? You challenge Alpha Drake?” He said laughing hysterically.

“Ya he won’t let me join patrol, it was a bit of a rash move on my part, but if I win he has to let me join.” I said and Erik just shook his head while still laughing.

“When is this fight? I certainly don’t want to miss it.” He asked, still chuckling like this was the best thing he ever heard.

“Tomorrow during training.” I told him with a sigh.

“Well good luck with that, I’ll be there with popcorn.” He said as he walked away from me still chuckling. Damn it, why did I have to challenge him, I hope I don’t make an a*s of myself tomorrow.

Clair showed up a few minutes later and we headed out to the training grounds.

“So why the afternoon training session?” She asked and I told her everything. She had a shocked look on her face at first until it sunk in and then her reaction was the same as Erik’s, a lot of laughing.

“Oh girl you really need to learn how to control that tongue or yours.” She said while shaking her head.

“Ya, I’m starting to agree with you.” I replied with a sigh.

Damn it, this is bad, everyone’s going to be watching our fight.
