Episode 34

BROOKE

I slowly open my eyes, what the hell happened?

I’m on something soft.

I open my eyes slowly open and adjust to the light and even the sounds, I can hear people talking.

“She’s awake,” someone says.

I open my eyes and come face to face with bright pink hair and green eyes looking at me “You gave us a fright young lady” she says.

She pulls me up to make sure I was sitting up and hands me a glass of water, “Drink” she says.

She gets up and walks to the chair she has by a small table and sits on it. I feel a hand on my leg, I look up to see Joe with a worried expression on his face “Are you okay Brooke?” he says.

I stare at him; memories are flowing around in my head, even all the ones I hide away even the bad ones. But there are memories of Daisy which bring warmth to my heart, but there are at least three memories that I wish I never saw and remembered. Hudson knew who I was…….

“Brooke,” says Joe who is still looking at me with concern.

“I’m ok, all the memories come back in one hit” I signed. Sassy looks at me and smiles “I am so glad you can sign, you picked that up quick.”

I give a small smile as memories after memories come through.

My head is hurting.

I can sense Willow.

She is very tense.

Then suddenly the conversation we had before my memories came back.

“You knew what he did,” I said to her.

She doesn’t say anything back to me.

“Say something” I scream in my head.

After a few moments, Willow breathes out a small breath “I’m so sorry Brooke, I couldn’t tell you. You needed to remember as you vowed you would never see him again. He knew about you before, he knew and he never came to help you” she says but I have to block her. She knew she knew what he said, what happened, everything.

I look at Sassy who is giving a pitying look “She couldn’t tell you Brooke, you needed to replace your memories, you needed them all back but now I would give you one bit of advice, don’t go back yet until you figured everything out in our pretty head. Use this one” she says nudging her head towards Joe “He will help you.”

A tear slips down my face.

Joe looks between Sassy and me.

“What the hell is going on?” he asks Sassy.

“Some memories that came back have more hurt in them than she remembered, her mate is the key to some,” she said to him.

I look at Joe “Can we go home? Back to the Villa I mean” I mouth, I am a shaky mess after having my memories back.

He looks at Sassy for the go ahead to take me back to the Villa. She nods. Joe picks me up bridal style and I lean my head against him.

“I will come and see you tomorrow Brooke,” she says

I just look at her and give her a small smile.

Joe carries me back to the villa. I noticed a few pack members looking towards us but they don’t say anything. They must have heard me screaming. Some are the ones who introduced Sassy to Joe.

But Joe smiles and nods at them, giving them reassuring smiles.

Once back at the Villa, Adonis is looking on with worry in his eyes as we walk through the door. Joe has a blank expression on his face; they must have been mind linking each other.

Joe takes me to my room, with Adonis following behind. Once he opens the door, Daisy is packing her things. She looks up and has a worried look on her face “What the hell happened?” she says as Joe places me on my bed.

“Brooke,” she says softly.

I close my eyes.

My head is hurting a lot.

Suddenly “Tell them what happened,” says Willow quietly, “I will speak for you.” I must put the block down due to the pain I was in.

Everyone was quiet for a while; Daisy is still packing but is looking at me with worry in her eyes.

I know all 3 of them are worried about me, I can feel their emotions.

I can tell them what I saw, Daisy will want answers.

Joe places me down on the bed, as Adonis leans against the wall opposite me.

They are waiting for me to talk but I don’t know where to begin.
