Back at the castle

Unknown’s POV:

I have been here for months. I don’t know where I am. All I know is that this monster has been feeding off me for months, It always leaves me barely alive only to repeat the process over and over again. Hearing footsteps I ball myself up in the corner knowing it will not hide me from the monster that comes for me every night. The door opens up and someone is pushed inside but not chained like me. “I swear to god if you so much as lay one finger on my grand pups, I will rip you to shreds.” The strange man said to the guards that threw him in here. He was banging on the door causing my head to ache. I am still recovering from the last time the monster fed from me. “Can you please stop with the banging it will only make them come back and beat you senseless and you will still be in here. So please just stop, I suggest you rest and keep your strength up because you’re gonna need it. Banging on that door is useless” I said crawling onto my cot. He looked at me and his eyes showed sympathy, I didn’t need his sympathy I just needed to sleep. “Damn it son how long have you been here?” The man asked I took a deep breath because I really didn’t feel like talking. But it seems he was not going to do as I suggested. “I don’t know how long it has been as you can see there is no windows to let sunlight in to tell how many days has past. If I had to guess it has been maybe 4 or 5 months.” I said closing my eyes holding in my emotions I was done crying and hoping my family was looking for me. I didn’t want to talk about me anymore.

There was nothing to do about my situation so why dwell on it. “How did you end up here?” I asked the strange man. He sighed and turned to look in my direction. “That is a long story son.” “Well, I have nothing but time and from the looks of it you have just as much time as I have now.” I said with a shrug. He shook his head in denial. I had no energy to argue with him or break his spirits with the truth. To be honest I was just as determined as he is right now when I first came to this place, but as the days pass, I realize that I would more than likely die here. Coming to that conclusion on my own was a hard pill to swallow, so I could only imagine how it would feel if I broke that news to him.

“I was kidnapped from my pack along with my grand pups by the witch Urrale she wants me to be her mate, but I would die before I mate anyone other then my other half mate. She has some sort of plan to use my grand pups in some sick twisted sacrifice, but I can’t let her kill my grand pups, so even if you doubt me I have to replace a way out here to save those pups. I have lost the most precious person in my life besides my son and his pups are all that matters now.” He said his voice full of emotions. For some odd reason I also felt his emotions and it surprised me because I had long since let go of emotions they have no place here. “How old are your grand pups?” “Almost four months they are so beautiful, smart, and tiny. They were born early and less than ten pounds combine. They don’t even look like they are almost four months, but they are very powerful, which is why Urrale wants to sacrifice them for their power.” He said and banged on the cell doors.

“When does she plan to sacrifice them?” I asked suddenly interested in his story. I don’t know why but I feel like I am supposed to help him. I can’t explain it maybe because of the babies no one should harm babies for any reason. “She plans to sacrifice them at midnight. Which is why I need to get out of here now. There isn’t much time left. I can’t let my grand pups down I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I can’t save them or keep them alive and safe until my son gets here.” He said pacing in anger I could feel the power he holds, and he is very powerful. “How sure are you that your son will be able to get here in time to save them?” “My son will stop at nothing to get to his pups he is the strongest Alpha in the region. He also has a smart mate who is their girls mother along with her family they definitely will turn this entire planet and the next looking for those girls.” “I thought you said your son was an alpha, from what I know about werewolves the alpha wolves only have male wolves.” I said thinking about everything I was taught about the different shifters. He nodded and then smiled.

“We have discovered that werewolves could mate humans. The pups mother is a human and it was determined that because humans are so different from shifters that somehow it allows for alphas to birth alpha girls as well. This is very new, so we don’t know much, only what we have witnessed. Now that they are here and are so powerful we have people like this witch who wants to take their power away from them.” He said and once again banged on the cell door and this time he shook the entire rock wall so hard that pieces of the rocks surrounding the door cracked and broke off. Yea he is one powerful son of a b***h. “Son, how is it you know so much about shifters? Your not a shifter but your not quite human either.” I smiled at him recognizing I wasn’t all the way human. “I’m a dragon rider, or rather I was. My grandmother made sure me, and my siblings knew everything there was about shifters and how to identify one when we see one. She as also very special and powerful she knew everything there was to know about all shifters.” I said, as a tear fell from my eyes thinking about my grandmother. The shifter stopped to stare at me strangely. “Son what is your name?” He asked, looking deeply at me.

“I am Cannon Lou Chan of the Chan Clan the protectors of the ancient Golden Dragons.”

Urrale’s POV:

The Dark one’s Den:

“Father why must I take the she wolf back to the castle. She is useless and can’t be trusted.” I said to Father, he summoned me here to take the pregnant she wolf back to the castle. Somehow she is suppose to help me when the alpha and his warriors come for my mate and the pups. But I don’t need her I am not the least bit worried about the young alpha. I’m still not convince that they will be able to replace my realm. Alpha Zane may have killed him by now if he was worth anything. Or at the very least weaken them, to the point that they may not even be able to replace me even if they tried. “Did I asked for your opinion do I need to remind you who your talking to. I didn’t ask you for your advice, how dare you question me.” Father said as an invisible force grabbed me by my throat and lift me up I was clawing at the invisible cord. I could see the stupid she wolf smiling evilly. She doesn’t even look like she was a prisoner anymore. She looks like she’s been pampered. Just what the hell has been going on down here? Has she somehow gotten to father? I didn’t have time to figure it out right now I was slowly losing consciousness. Just before I passed out he let me go. I fell to the floor gasping for breath.

“Now that we have an understanding, as I said you will take the she wolf back to the castle and make sure she is somewhere easily found should the alpha make his way to your castle. She has her own mission that I need her to complete. You provide her with what she needs until the alpha comes for his father and pups. By the way is everything still on track are you prepared for the full moon?” Father asked, and I physically cough again in shock. I pray he doesn’t know that my mate escape the castle with the pups. If he replaces out he will surely not hesitate to kill me. I needed to get out of here so I can get back on the hunt for my mate and those damn pups.

“Yes. Yes father everything is going according to plan my guards have already set up the alter and the pillars and the chefs has prepared the Yin and Ying fish.” I said, with as much confidence as I could, hoping he couldn’t see through the lies I told. I let out the breath I was holding when he dismissed me. I hurried out of the den, with the pregnant she wolf on my heels. “Can you slow down a little bit I am pregnant you know.” The she wolf said behind me. I rolled my eyes and walked faster. I have no time to waste. I needed to replace my mate and those damn pups. If I can’t replace them in time nothing else will matter because we will all be dead.
