Lynn’s POV:

“s**t, s**t, s**t this is bad this is really f*****g bad?” I said as I paced the floor to my room. I immediately came back here once I left the conference room after my talk with Dradon. I have been avoiding Montego like the plague. I had told Mina to get the girls and meet me in my room. I needed to talk to someone, and they are the only ones who could help me figure this s**t out. “What the hell is so urgent that I had to get up from my nap. I swear yall won’t let me sleep for s**t.

Don’t get mad at me if one of yall gets shot in the a*s because I fell asleep being the look out.” Shawna said as she came into my room and immediately laid down on my bed. She was so dramatic as a pregnant lady. She was already showing because she had three babies in there, so it took her a while to get comfortable. “I swear Lynn this better be good I’m already in a f****d-up a*s mood. Because Makahi just told me that he would also be trying to replace that b***h a*s Summer on this mission too.” Ji’lahni said, angrily.

“Damn that b***h still alive? How many episodes does this b***h have? She’s just like Shadow’s mate, these bitches don’t know how to die or stay gone like regular hoes. Shawna said sitting up as Ji’lahni and Mina came in. closing the door. “So, Lynn what’s up?” Ji’lahni asked sitting next to Shawna, I took the seat next to Mina on the couch. I took a deep breath. “When Dradon came to save Shawna, he made it clear that I would have to pay back the debt for saving Shawna. I agreed because I couldn’t let you die. I would have done anything to save you and our babies.” I said, as Shawna began to cry at what I had done to save her. Mina put her arms around me as a silent thank you and we got your back no matter what.

“Well today after my meeting with my grandmother. We stayed behind to talk I already knew whatever he wanted would be big, but I didn’t know how big it would be.” I said looking down trying to hold back my emotions that were threatening to take over. “Well, what is it he wants? Whatever it is we will help you you’re not doing this alone.” Shawna said confidently because she didn’t know what he has asked of me. “I’m afraid what he wants is a one-person job.” I said and they frowned slightly confused. I decided to just come out and say it. “Well, the golden dragons are almost extinct, every time they manage to imprint on a female she nor the baby ever survives the pregnancy or birth. So, they haven’t been able to procreate. Dradon wants me to allow the dragon I was connected to. The one I gave to my brother, to imprint on me. I’m sure that he thinks because we are connected by b***d that my chances of survival is greater than any other female.” I said as a tear fell from my eyes as I said it our loud for the first time since Dradon told me what my price for saving a life. Basically, a life for a life.

“WHAT? Hell no, Lynn you can’t do that s**t what about Montego? You know damn well Montego will kill anyone who tries to take you from him.” Shawna said getting up off the bed. “Facts! You not doing that s**t, he knows you and Montego are mates. Everybody has seen you two together to know you and Montego are together especially with how he is always watching or touching you. You have to tell him that he has to figure out another way you can repay the debt.”

Ji’lahni said, getting up pacing the floor. Shaking my head, “No, that’s not how this works, there is no negotiation when you make a deal with a dragon you have no choice you either do it willingly or they will either force you to comply or just kill you.” I said shrugging. “I swear this is some bull s**t! I real life need to replace out which one of us were serial killers in our past life to be dealt a f****d-up a*s hand in this life. Because there is no way we have to deal with all of this bull s**t in this life without our past selves being psychos.” Ji’lahni said, angrily as tears filled her eyes but I know she wouldn’t allow one of them to fall until she was alone. She thought we didn’t know about her little secret.

“We need to figure this out, because you are not mating or imprinting or whatever they want to call it with nobody but who you want..” Shawna said, absentmindedly rubbing her belly. “I really don’t know what we could do to get out of this. I just wanted to vent and get it off my chest. I am not going to say anything to Montego until after we get the girls back. One s**t storm at a time. So, we know their plans what is our plan?” I asked, changing the subject there was no need to dwell on something we can’t change. “Yall know they hate for us to do s**t outside of their plans. Yea, because they are used to she wolves who don’t and can’t take care of themselves let alone defend themselves. I don’t understand it, how can you solely depend on a man to protect you. Sometimes your man needs some help the least you could do is throw a punch to give your dude the upper hand or something.” Mina said, in disbelief. “Well, we need to come up with a way to not die on this mission. These dudes are trying to save dead bitches and psycho bitches and we’re going to make sure that we have our asses covered.” I said to them as I tried to think of a way to keep us all safe. “Well, I know you will need to get Rimmy fitted with a harness because I won’t be teaming up with Blaze anymore. His girlfriend has an issue with me. That might get her assed whipped if I continue teaming up with him.” Mina said which made us all stop and look at her.

“Oh, so we got another f*****g b***h to deal with. What happened and why didn’t you say anything?” Shawna asked. “It’s no big deal I put her a*s in her place. When I left the conference room earlier Hunter asked me how Shawna was doing. Blaze and his girlfriend was over there at the same table, so when I walked over I told him Shawna was good and that I was just in there to get some fruit or a sandwich. Then, Blaze’s girlfriend decided she wanted a consultation, she was apparently looking for someone to rearrange her face, and I basically told her my prices are too high, so she better go replace someone else to do it. She said that she had to massage Blaze’s back after we teamed up during the earlier attack.”Mina said, shrugging. “What! I know you lying. Why the f**k you didn’t say anything? You know what never mind I will see her.” I said angry as hell. “Well didn’t Blaze put her in her f*****g place?” Shawna asked. Mina shook her head no and just like that, he got added to the f*****g list. “Oh well f**k him too.” Ji’lahni said, crossing her arms under her breast. “Anyway, I told him he no longer has to worry about me, and I will get you to get Rimmy fitted for a vest harness. So, I need you to do that before we leave.” Mina said to me . I could see he had hurt her feelings when he didn’t say anything to defend her, but she also will be over it fast. That was just how she was.

“I can’t make one in time the only thing I could do is alter the one Blaze already has. I can’t go to the pack house because I know Montego is there.” “Don’t worry about it I will go and get it I want to talk to the omega Rose about what we will be bringing on this mission because the last time them dudes were not prepared for outside dining, and I don’t have time for the foolishness of cooking and eating food with no seasoning.” Mina said getting up and heading to the door. “Hey, do you want me to walk with you?” Shawna said getting up slowly. “Hell no, you need a nap I’m not trying to get my a*s shot because you done nodded off to sleep hell we already got to worry about you peeing and getting caught with your pants down.” Mina said and we all laughed. “Shut up, that s**t wasn’t funny I was scared as hell, who wants to die and wake up in heaven and have them angels laughing at me because I got killed peeing. I’m sure that would have been a first.” Shawna said and we laughed even harder. This is what I love about them. Even though we had all kinds of issues we always replace a reason to laugh.
