The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric)
Chapter 1999 Mrs. Ferguson Is Also Here

Nicole did not think too much and ran outside.

There was a huge Tibetan Mastiff at the entrance of the large manor. It was at least double her size.

Nicole was sullen for a while and took a step back in fear.

Angie was probably not afraid that Nicole would run because of this big dog.

The Tibetan Mastiff barked, and soon, a maid came over and took the dog away.

The maid did not even look at Nicole.

Nicole was stunned for a moment as she did not expect anyone else to be there.

This was an unfamiliar environment and

location.

Nicole was a little flustered.

Angie was nowhere to be seen.

It seemed that the maid and Nicole were the only ones left in the whole manor, as well as that dog.

Nicole felt hopeless for a while.

She went back and looked around, but could not replace a phone.

When it was time for dinner, the maid showed up again.

"Ms. Stanton, please come downstairs for dinner."

Nicole paused. "Is Angie here too?"

The maid turned around without answering her question.

Although Nicole did not have an appetite, it was in her best interest to understand her environment so that she could figure out the enemy.

She heard someone talking downstairs.

There was more than one voice.

Nicole quickened her pace.

When she went downstairs, she saw the people downstairs and was stunned for a moment.

"Angie, why is she here?"

The person sitting with Angie at the dinner table was Quinn.

Nicole's expression changed, and her mind was full of doubts.

Why was Quinn here?

Angie glanced at Nicole, then withdrew her gaze and said indifferently, "I invited Ms.

Stanton over.'

Nicole walked over and sat opposite them.

The food on the table looked like local Erethean food.

Nicole's heart sank a little. It looked like they were not in Mediania, but in Erethea.

Quinn, who was opposite her, sneered.

"I'm really unlucky to see you everywhere I go."

Nicole raised her eyes. Her voice was clear and cold.

"Mrs. Ferguson, I should be the one saying this."

Nicole's rude rebuttal made Angie glance at her with a glimmer in her eyes.

It was a meaningful gaze.

Nicole did not care about Quinn. She felt unlucky

Quinn threw down the fork and knife and said in a harsh tone, "I'm not in the mood to eat. I feel full after seeing her face!"

Nicole smiled, picked up a piece of bread, and took a bite.

Her laid-back look was even more irritating to Quinn.

Angie paused and glanced at Nicole. She was not a fool and could feel the tension between these two women.

She lowered her eyes and looked at Quinn with a smile.

"Mom, don't be upset. I'll get the maid to prepare your meal and send it to your room."

Nicole was shocked when she heard Angie addressing Quinn as "Mom".

She was very puzzled.

Quinn glanced at Nicole provokingly and stood up.

"Okay, I'll wait for my dinner. I don't want to eat with this woman."

Nicole completely ignored Quinn.

Quinn went upstairs by herself.

The kind of respect Angie showed Quinn did not seem to be forced.

Nicole's eyes flickered, and a thousand thoughts ran through her mind. "Is Ms. Ferguson here too?"

She was not sure if Angie would answer, but she still asked anyway.

Angie glanced at Nicole and lowered her eyes.

"Ingrid is not here. She's with my brother."

Nicole paused. This meant that Ingrid went to look for Tyler, and Quinn was with Angie.

Then, was Eric aware of all this?

This situation was so confusing that Nicole could not comprehend it.

What role did Angie play in this situation?

Nicole woke up the next morning. She could not sleep well at night because she could hear the sound of waves crashing against the rocks from time to time. Since Angie did not restrict her movements, Nicole walked up to the third floor.

She stood on the balcony of the third floor and looked into the distance, only to realize that the manor was surrounded by sea.

They were on an island.

The island was not big, and the manor was in the middle.

Nicole stood there in amazement. No wonder Angie did not need to lock her up.

Nicole would not be able to escape because she could not swim back to Mediania.

The most important thing now was to replace a way to contact Clayton.

The word "contact" flashed in Nicole's mind, and she immediately remembered that there was another person here.

Nicole ran out and saw Quinn sitting leisurely under the veranda, basking in the sun.

Quinn looked very comfortable.

Angie was not there.

Nicole walked over and thought about what to say.

However, Quinn felt someone approaching her and opened her eyes. She glanced at Nicole in disdain and left without saying a word.

Nicole pursed her lips and suddenly spoke.

"Eric has been looking for you and Ingrid everywhere, but I guess you two really know how to enjoy yourselves, huh? You're enjoying your retirement here while Ingrid fell in love with Tyler. Do you guys really think that this is heaven?"

Quinn paused in her footsteps. Her expression suddenly turned glum.

"What do you know?! If it weren't for you, Ingrid and I wouldn't end up here! You still have the guts to say that? Why didn't Falcon just kill you last time?"

Nicole raised her eyebrows in surprise and chuckled.

"So, you're locked up here too? I thought Angie really treated you as her mother-in-law since she kept calling you 'Mom'."

Quinn's face turned red, and she felt aggravated.

"That's still better than you! At least, she didn't hurt me and even gave me a grandson!"

Nicole paused. She looked a little surprised.

She knew about Angie's pregnancy.

It was just that no one ever mentioned that child again after that.

Eric also said that the child was not his. After that, the child was unheard of.

Nicole chuckled lightly and looked at

Quinn.

"Oh, it turns out that you like Angie so much. No wonder you're indifferent to your son being threatened."

Quinn's expression was complex and hesitant.

"I didn't wish for this to happen either. Angie said that we're in a special circumstance. If I expose myself, someone will use me to threaten Eric."

Quinn's face was dark. She was very sensitive and suspicious of Nicole's topic.

She looked at Nicole and sized her up.

"But why did you get caught? You probably offended a lot of people, huh? Serves you right!"

Nicole lowered her eyes and sighed calmly.

"Mrs. Ferguson, we're both hostages, so why are you looking down on me?"

Quinn was annoyed by Nicole's shameless attitude.

She rolled her eyes angrily.

Nicole raised her eyes. "You can't communicate with the outside world?"

Quinn took a deep breath and finally understood Nicole's intention.

She chuckled softly. Her tone was a little harsh.

"No. Just give up. The maid here doesn't have a phone either. I've already tried looking for everything you're looking for, so don't waste your energy. You might as well talk to that dog if you have the time." Quinn could not stand Nicole from the beginning. Nicole pretended to be obedient during those three years, but she completely changed in a blink of an eye.

What was wrong with Quinn wanting to train her daughter-in-law?

Nicole was wrong to conceal her identity as the heiress of Stanton Corporation.

Quinn did not have a good impression of Nicole. When Nicole was poor, Quinn looked down on her, but when Nicole was rich, Quinn felt that she could not compare to Nicole.

Thus, Quinn resented Nicole.
