The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric) -
Chapter 2014 Spell Trouble for the Future
Clayton was not surprised, as if he had expected Angie's response.
This was Angie's last bargaining chip. She handed over her power for a chance of survival.
Angie looked at Clayton nervously, and the fingerprint marks on her neck were especially frightening.
At this point, Angie could not care less about anything.
Clayton laughed lightly and looked particularly glum in the dimly lit room.
He said in a relaxed and deep voice, "Fine. I'll give you a chance. Deliver your brother to me to show your sincerity."
Angie clenched her fists tightly and closed her eyes.
"My brother doesn't stand a chance anymore. The forces at home and abroad are all eyeing him. He thinks he's like a duck in water, but disaster is imminent."
Clayton's eyes flickered. He knew what she meant and withdrew his gaze.
Surprisingly, Angie had much better foresight than Tyler.
Heh...
Tyler was not at a loss to die at the hands of his sister.
After a pause, Clayton turned to leave.
Angie heaved a sigh of relief.
She was dripping with cold sweat.
She managed to survive.
Clayton went out and glanced at Nicole gently. He saw that Nicole was talking to Shane.
Shane leaned down and was very close to Nicole.
Clayton narrowed his eyes, walked over, put his hands behind Nicole, and said in a warm voice, "What are you talking about?"
Nicole paused and turned to look at Clayton with a smile.
"We were talking about what kind of job suits him."
Clayton swept a glance at Shane, who stood up nervously. Shane's eyes flickered.
He turned the wheelchair around and laughed.
"Then did you figure it out?"
Clayton said while pushing Nicole away.
Nicole replied, "Public Relations Department."
Clayton got on the elevator and raised his eyebrows. That was unexpected.
"Why?"
Nicole glanced at Shane, then at Clayton. She said in a low voice, "He's so goodlooking. His handsome face can solve a lot of problems." Clayton was speechless.
Heh...
Clayton smiled as if nothing was wrong and did not continue the topic.
Once they were back in the room, Nicole opened her arms ?e+
Clayton nodded, bent down, and picked her up easily. He pinched her waist and said," You've lost weight."
He was distressed by this, but Nicole's eyes lit up.
"Really?"
Clayton almost forgot that Nicole liked to reward herself for every pound she lost.
Nicole swung her legs and hugged his neck as she smiled.
"That's great! I heard from Third Brother that there will be a jewelry auction in Mediania in two weeks. Let's attend it!"
Clayton lowered his head to kiss her lips before letting go of her and agreeing without a second thought.
"Okay.
He put her gently on the bed but did not let go of her waist.
Leaning down, Clayton unbuttoned his collar to reveal his well-defined collarbones.
His kiss gradually traveled downward and ended up lingering intimately by the side of her ear as he knew that it was her most sensitive part.
Sure enough, Nicole originally wanted to push him away. But in the next second, she shrank in his arms like a clingy cat.
His eyes darkened, and the corners of his mouth curled into a gentle arc.
"Shall we continue?"
He teased her and made her groggy, yet he was still politely asking her if she wanted to continue?
Nicole got angry and kissed his beautiful collarbone, which made his body stiffen.
Taking this opportunity, Nicole gently bit his collarbone.
He winced in pain and said in a low and husky voice, "Are you trying to murder your husband?"
Nicole laughed and released her hands. Her face was so charming that he could not take his eyes off her.
"I was trying to wake you up and remind you that I'm still a patient!"
Nicole was about to back away as she spoke.
As a result, Clayton grabbed her calf.
The next second, she was back underneath him.
Clayton did not ask her politely again and just smiled.
"Don't worry, I've already asked the doctor. As long as you don't move too much, it won't affect your wound."
Nicole's face flushed red.
He actually asked the doctor?
Was he serious?
Later that night, Nicole knew that her physical strength was not as good as a healthy man after all.
The two tossed around in bed until the middle of the night before Clayton took her to the bathroom to wash up.
Nicole muttered in displeasure. "Mr. Sloan, to be honest, I always thought that you were quite abstinent. Turns out, I was wrong."
She was wrong about Clayton.
Clayton laughed and kissed her on the forehead.
"Don't say that about yourself, because I'm only like this to you, baby."
He carried her back to the bed and said in a very soft voice beside her ear, "Only you can get me hooked."
Nicole was in a daze and did not hear him clearly. She fell asleep as soon as she lay down.
Clayton woke up the next morning.
He was afraid that the sunlight would disturb Nicole's rest, so he immediately got out of bed and closed the blackout curtains. He gently went back and tucked Nicole under the quilt. Clayton sat there for a few seconds and did not feel sleepy at all.
He opened the door and walked out. Shane was dozing off with his eyes closed on the chair. Shane stood up immediately when he saw Clayton coming out.
His face was flushed since the ward was not soundproofed.
Shane knew exactly what happened between Nicole and Clayton last night.
He was still too young, so he felt embarrassed.
Clayton still had some marks that Nicole left on his neck last night when she lost control. He did not hide it, and the marks were exposed.
"Send Angie away."
Shane looked serious as he raised his eyes.
"Send her to Tyler."
"Yes, sir."
Shane replied and did not question Clayton.
Clayton turned to go back inside. He suddenly remembered something and glanced at Shane.
"You can go to Mediania first. I'll get Roland to contact you."
Shane pursed his lips and was hesitant to speak, but he nodded anyway.
He could have gone back to Mediania with Clayton and Nicole.
Why did Clayton suddenly let Shane leave first?
Nicole got up, washed up, and started to eat breakfast.
After the video call with Chatty, she put down her phone and suddenly felt homesick.
Floyd always thought that they were on vacation, so he only said a few words as he did not want to disturb their time together.
After breakfast, Clayton packed up.
Nicole looked at the house-husband who never complained about all the work he did and shook her head.
Clayton was so different from the god of hell that he was last night.
Fortunately, they did not become rivals.
Nicole touched her neck, smiled, and looked at Clayton.
"Honey, will you ever hit me?"
Clayton paused, rolled up his sleeves to reveal his well-defined forearms, and pursed his lips.
"Of course I won't."
Nicole asked, "But if I hit you, will you fight back?"
Clayton looked at her with complicated eyes and wondered what her little mind was thinking about.
"I won't either."
Nicole raised her eyebrows. "Thank goodness! We surely won't hit each other. When will we go home?"
Clayton asked, "Are you homesick?"
Nicole nodded.
Clayton's eyes darkened.
"Just wait a little longer. We'll go back once Tyler is arrested." "Arrested?" Clayton nodded. "Mr Ferguson is back, so the plan would go on as usual. Also, I've released Angie, which will only accelerate Tyler's failure, so it'll all end soon."
He said in a warm voice, and every word had deep meaning.
He was different from just now.
Nicole pursed her lips and was a little surprised.
"You released Angie? Won't that spell trouble for the future?"
