The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric)
Chapter 2015 My Brother-In-Law

Clayton laughed when he heard this and kissed Nicole on the lips.

"Did you think that Angie and Tyler have some kind of deep family bond?"

He sighed.

Not all siblings were like the Stantons.

Most people valued their interests more than family.

Nicole was doubtful. "After all, they're siblings!"

They were in the same business and valued alliances the most, so how could they possibly kill each other?

Clayton smiled and explained, "Angie has never been a simple person. She was chosen by her father to inherit his position. Caleb and Tyler were not as good as her and were both abandoned by their father. Don't be deceived by her lack of presence. She's actually much smarter than Caleb and Tyler."

He reached out and stroked Nicole's hair.

Nicole did not continue to speak and was very confused.

She did not want to get involved in Angie's affairs, but she almost died at Angie's hands. Angie had too good of a deal if Clayton just let Angie go like that.

How nice would it be if Clayton handed Angie over to the police?

Clayton knew what Nicole was thinking and chuckled.

"It's okay. She's in a more dangerous situation with Tyler than the police. Them harming each other means that you'll get your revenge."

Nicole paused and did not continue this topic.

Forget it. She was fine now anyway. Clayton would take care of everything.

Nicole inexplicably trusted Clayton.

She nodded.

They led a relatively quiet life in Erethea. Clayton also did not deliberately tell Nicole about what went on in Mediania.

Other places were in chaos.

Tyler lost his territories and power one after another and suffered inexplicable blows numerous times.

He finally realized that someone was targeting him.

By then, Tyler already lost most of his territory, and what was most frustrating was that he could not replace out who did it.

The only thing he could be happy about was the money laundering project that went on very smoothly.

At first, Tyler tested the waters with small amounts. He then gradually increased his investment. Sitting back ;c*=UNY> gaining profits without doing anything turned out to be very addictive.

In the end, Tyler simply dumped all his money into the project.

When Eric got news of this, he just smiled faintly and felt relieved.

This was such an elaborate trap, so how could Tyler not be fooled?

At Ferguson Corporation, Eric sat in his office with a grim expression.

Mitchell raised his eyes and looked at him. Since he brought Eric back from abroad a week ago, Eric was not in a good mood.

Eric also did not mention what happened abroad.

Mitchell had a vague feeling that it had something to do with Nicole and Clayton, but he did not dare to mention it.

Eric said in a low voice, "Okay. You may leave."

Mitchell pursed his lips and stood there. He was hesitating if he should leave.

Eric saw that Mitchell was acting out of character, so he lifted his eyes and said in a cold voice, "Is there anything else?"

Mitchell said, "A young boy just came over and said that he's your son..."

After that, Eric's expressionless face became furious.

Eric looked at Mitchell coldly.

"What did you say?"

Mitchell quickly said, "The boy came alone. There was no one else around him. He stayed downstairs all morning and refused to leave. The receptionist saw that something was wrong, so she asked me to go over and take a look. Mr. Ferguson, that kid... Resembles you..."

Mitchell said the last few words with trepidation.

If not for the uncanny resemblance, Mitchell would not dare to take the risk and report it.

After Mitchell finished his sentence, Eric shot daggers at Mitchell, which made

Mitchell feel uncomfortable.

"Get out!"

Eric said coldly.

Mitchell paused, nodded, and then left quickly.

When Eric was away, Mitchell was the acting president.

However, Ferguson Corporation belonged to the Fergusons after all, and Eric would always be the true owner.

Mitchell left with a sad face.

A three-year-old boy with beautiful features sat there and looked at Mitchell with glistening eyes.

Mitchell did not open his mouth to let the boy in.

The child probably realized something. He lowered his eyes in disappointment and the light in his eyes dimmed.

At just three years old, this boy had already learned to observe people's expressions, and he could already understand some of the adults' reactions.

The boy sat there with his head down and quietly fiddled with his fingers. He looked very aggrieved, but he was also very silent.

Mitchell felt a little distressed, but he sorted out his emotions and walked over with a smile.

"Little boy, where are your parents? Do you remember their phone number? I can call someone to pick you up."

The child raised his head and clenched his little fists tightly.

He pointed in the direction of Eric's office and said nothing.

Mitchell frowned and patiently coaxed the kid.

"That's our boss. He's very busy and won't be able to see you. Tell me, who brought you here?"

The boy silently lowered his eyes and took out a notebook and a pen. He scribbled the word, "Mommy" crookedly.

Mitchell paused. "Then who's your mommy?"

The little guy's beautiful facial features were a bit scrunched up. He wrote, "Angie".

Mitchell saw this and his heart sank slightly.

This boy was truly Eric's and Angie's child.

In the beginning, Eric glanced at this child and said that he was not his son. However, this child's beautiful features and big watery eyes were an exact copy of Eric's.

If Eric said that this child was not his son, even an outsider like Mitchell would not believe it.

However, why did Angie send her son over?

More importantly, this poor child had a speech disability.

Mitchell's heart was really complicated.

He knew that Eric had no feelings for Angie at all. One could even say that Eric resented her.

However, the child was innocent no matter what.

It would be cruel to kick this child out and let him live on the streets.

Mitchell paused and said, "Wait here. I have no say in whether Mr. Ferguson wants to recognize you or not." The child retracted his hand sensitively, sat there, and stared at the door to Eric's office.

His eyes held both anticipation and fear.

Mitchell did not hesitate and went back to his office.

There was nothing he could do.

He just did not expect that Eric's first son had a speech disability.

Sigh...

Stanton Corporation.

When Grant came out of the meeting, Logan greeted him.

"Mr. Stanton, we can shut down the project with Ferguson Corporation soon, but the relevant departments may detect something if we act on it. Ferguson Corporation has already relayed the news to us that we can start short-selling."

This was a big deal, and Logan felt that something was not right, so he told Grant in time.

Grant paused and looked indifferent.

By now, he already knew Eric/s purpose.

Coupled with the assistance of Mr. Jensen, it was not without reason that Stanton Corporation won this project without a hitch.

Grant responded and looked out of the window with complicated eyes.

"What's going on in South Africa?"

Logan paused. "Mr. Stanton, someone started acting before us. Tyler's forces in South Africa have been destroyed, and there aren't many left. The reports and attacks were clearly aimed at Tyler. When you talked to Mr. Jensen, did he mention that he was acting ahead of time?"

Grant chuckled. "It's not him, and it wouldn't be Eric. The two of them will only take care of themselves. They won't take action if the situation did not hurt their own interests."

"Then who would it be?"

"My brother-in-law..."
