The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric) -
Chapter 2016 Ingrid Showed Up
Only Clayton would have no scruples against anyone trying to hurt Nicole.
That was because Nicole was Clayton's bottom line.
Grant paused. "Send additional security personnel to protect the Stanton Mansion to avoid Tyler's counterattack. No one is allowed to approach." "Yes, sir."
Ferguson Corporation.
Eric was very annoyed when he received a call from Keith.
"Is something wrong?"
"Ferg, how long have you not come out for a drink? Come to the bar with us..."
Eric replied, "I'm busy."
Keith said, "I heard that your mom came back without your sister. But I just learned that Ingrid is back in Mediania. Come over!"
Eric frowned and immediately hung up.
He got up and went outside.
Eric only took a few steps out the door when he suddenly heard some staggering footsteps behind him.
He was stunned and looked back.
A fair and cute child who did not even reach the height of Eric's knees stood there, raised his head, and looked up at Eric. The kid stretched out his hand to tug on Eric's fingers while looking at him eagerly. Eric frowned and suddenly remembered what Mitchell told him.
That child...
Eric abruptly shook the child's hand off with a scornful expression.
"Who sent you here? Go back."
Eric still remembered the first time he saw this child. As a baby, the child had very dark skin, so Eric did not think that it was his son at first glance.
However, Eric was relieved to see that because it was better that the baby was not his.
He just did not expect that the boy standing in front of him at the moment would look so much like him.
Not only did this boy look like Eric, he also looked like Angie.
At once, Eric knew of the child's origin.
Eric did not expect Angie to really send her son to him.
Was Angie not locked up by Clayton?
Clayton was willing to let Angie go?
Eric's face was cold and stern. He was frustrated.
In the next second, the little boy took Eric's hand in trepidation and looked at Eric with caution and anticipation.
Eric was annoyed. Who knew if Angie found a child who resembled him just to fool him?
He shook off the child's h>h&>SLS< again, and said in a cold tone, "Wait here."
Eric went straight to Mitchell's office.
Seeing that it was Eric, Mitchell stood up immediately.
"Mr. Ferguson."
"Bring that child to do a paternity test."
Eric did not believe Angie.
Mitchell paused. "Yes, sir."
Eric turned around and left, and Mitchell quickly followed.
The child stood there quietly by himself, carrying a large school bag. He looked disappointed.
Mitchell followed Eric and said in a low voice, "Mr. Ferguson, he... He doesn't seem to be able to speak."
Eric paused.
His expression changed slightly.
Eric frowned when he looked at the child.
After a short pause, Eric walked out without saying anything or taking another look.
The child looked at Eric eagerly and tried to run after Eric with his two little legs, but he could not catch up at all.
His eyes turned red, and he looked like he was about to cry.
Mitchell picked him up from behind.
"Let's go."
The child put his arms around Mitchell's neck sensibly and held back his tears.
They went to a private hospital that was owned by Eric's friend. After the doctor drew their blood, the doctor looked at Eric and the child with a smile. "Congratulations..."
Eric pursed his lips and looked unhappy.
"It's too early to say that."
After that, Eric turned to leave, ignoring Mitchell and the child.
The doctor looked sideways at the child and raised his eyebrows.
"Is it? Mr. Ferguson's genes are so strong that the paternity test is quite unnecessary, right?"
Mitchell smiled sheepishly. After the doctor finished drawing blood from the child, Mitchell took the child away.
Keith and a few of Eric's friends already had too much to drink at the bar.
When they saw Eric walking in, everyone asked him to drink three glasses of wine as punishment.
Eric did not make any excuses either. He chugged three glasses of wine one after another and looked like he was trying to drink away his sorrows. Keith walked over and patted Eric's shoulder.
The music outside was deafening.
Fortunately, the soundproofing of the private room was good, so they could not hear the noises from outside.
"Ferg, I heard what happened some time ago. Do you need help?"
Eric did not speak and finished the wine in one gulp. His tone was cold as he said, "It's fine."
"I heard that your mother is back. Was she frightened?"
Eric's eyes flickered slightly, and his face sank a little.
"No."
Eric had arranged for Quinn to live in a secret location that no one knew about. He also strengthened the security around that place.
Quinn was also afraid and did not walk out of the door. She was also quieter now.
Keith clinked glasses with Eric and smiled.
"That's good."
"Have you seen Ingrid?"
Eric went straight to the point.
Keith finished his drink and said, "I saw her at the airport. She was with a little boy that looks to be around three years old. Also
"What?"
Eric frowned. His face was glum.
That three-year-old boy was most likely the child who appeared at Ferguson Corporation.
Was Ingrid the one who brought that child back?
Eric's chest felt more stuffy and extremely cold.
"Also, Ingrid has a pretty big belly, like she's four or five months pregnant. Do you know about it?"
Keith said in a low voice. After all, Ingrid was not married yet. If word got out, it would be a disgrace to the Ferguson family.
After Keith finished speaking, Eric was obviously livid.
Eric was enveloped in a layer of gloom and had such a cold vibe.
"She's pregnant?!"
He gritted his teeth and felt an uncontrollable anger in his heart.
Tyler...
Ingrid was such an idiot whose brain was eaten by the dogs to actually be pregnant with Tyler's child.
Eric was shaking with rage.
No wonder Ingrid did not go back to Ferguson Villa when she returned to Mediania.
Keith pursed his lips. "I'm sure of it. You'd better go and replace her because I think she's alone. I didn't see anyone else around her. I'm afraid that she might get into an accident." Eric closed his eyes. His whole body was shrouded in darkness.
He tried to move toward the light, but a hand was always pulling him into the abyss.
"Alright, thanks."
Eric put down his glass, stood up, and walked away.
Another buddy saw this and said, "Eerg, you're not drinking anymore?"
Eric did not answer and left without a word.
Keith smiled. "He's a busy man. It's not like we didn't know that."
Eric took out his phone as soon as he left the bar.
"Ingrid is back. She was the one who sent that child here, so she must be nearby.
Search for her now!"
Eric took a deep breath and lit a cigarette, trying to calm himself down.
Unfortunately, it did not work.
At midnight, Mitchell called and said, "Mr. Ferguson, I found Ms. Ferguson. She's staying at her small apartment."
"Alright. I'll go over there right now."
Eric got up from bed and changed his clothes. His face was gloomy when he pushed the door open and left.
When Ingrid heard a knock on the door, she wanted to ignore it, but the knocking was very persistent and loud.
It affected her rest.
Thus, Ingrid had no choice but to get up and open the door.
The moment she saw Eric, her expression changed. She subconsciously wanted to close the door, but the bodyguard behind Eric had already blocked the door.
'Brother...'
