The Gamma’s Heart – Chapter 68

Clara could hear her speaking in her native tounge and it was angry because I’d broken through again. Marco suddenly appeared behind me as I felt my knees buckle.

“It’s okay, it’s just the potion you are feeling. Your dad and Ophiela are working on the spell now…” he whispered holding her against him so she wouldn’t fall.

“We need you to let her come back, she let you break out because this potion is to keep her in and eventually kill her for good. If you are the one who is here then it would harm you, that’s why you feel like she’s hurting the babies.” Landon said softly.

It took everything in Clara to nod and slowly let Amara take back control of her body, to where she sat in the cold dark areas of her own head.

Marco tightened his hold when she began hitting him, the hits weren’t very strong though. Almost as if her strength had left her whole being.

“Abeamus!” (Let me go!) Amara yelled at him, while trying to use all her power to get out of his hold on her. She knew what they were doing and she couldn’t let them do it.

“Sebastianus omnes te necabit!” (Sebastian will kill you all!) she told them all while pushing the other man away from her. She couldn’t let them do this to her. The Dark Lord promised her she would live.

“Modo da ei…perdidisti, Amara.” (Just give in to it..you lost, Amara.) Marco whispered into her ear as they slowly went to the ground.

When a cry escaped her every wolf here shifted back to their human form as they watched on, they didn’t understand what was happening.

“Sweetheart?” Wyatt called out but got no answer, he handed his daughter to his mother and walked closer, Noah right behind him.

When they got closer they heard the rambling of Amara, is it was a mix of English and Latin and they couldn’t quite tell who was who at that moment.

When Samuel and Ophelia finished their spell her eyes shot open, flashing between black, white and green. She was trying to stay within the body and not go back to where she was before.

Her body eventually gave in to the pull, going back down into the dark abyss forever. When she did finally stop fighting it, her breathing came to a stop.

“I thought this was supposed to bring her back!” Wyatt snapped at the witches. “She trusted you..”

“No it was meant to kill, Amara and get rid of her forever, it did that. Clara wasn’t supposed to be with her when it happened, it’s up to her to come back.” Landon said, he kept his fingers on her wrist so when she did return he could feel her heartbeat.

Noah’s eyes looked around at the wolves that were previously out cold and now waking up. The warriors that had died are even waking up, he could feel their tether coming to the pack returning.

The mark he carried on his neck even gave off that pleasurable feeling when your mate marks you as it returned. But as he looked back at his mate hers wasn’t there. Neither one of them.

“I can feel them coming back” Brandon said as he looked around aswell. Being an Alpha of the pack aswell he also felt the tether to his sister’s pack members returning.

“Sana eos omnes” (Heal them all) my eyes widened slightly when I realized that the reason they were all coming back was because of her. Her expanded powers were bringing them back to life, and healimg the injured members.

Landon breathed a sigh of relief when he felt her heartbeat returning. But it was so faint because she was using too much magic without realizing it.

“It’s okay, you’re okay…” Marco whispered rubbing a hand up and down her arm, providing some warmth to her cold body.

He seen the doctor that she healed rush over to check if she was alright. “We need to get her warm…or she will loose the baby!”

Landon nodded and held his arms out so his brother could hand her over “I can teleport you both to the hospital.” When Marco gave her over he noticed just how cold she felt. When the doctor took his hand they were gone.
