Since Frank kept boasting that he had walked into Sorano Estate unimpeded and forced Willy into apologizing, Matis did not mind letting him the chance to prove himself! Leveling a slightly fearful glance at Emilio in the center of the group, Matis then told Lobo, "I did, but he didn't seem to care. He's really looking down on us." "What?!" Lobo was incensed right then but quickly restrained himself since he came for another reason.

Clapping Matis on the shoulder, Lobo said, "Look, the big shots have something important to deal with here, but don't worry-I'll call in my boys once they're done." Matis was delighted with his assurance and thanked him profusely.

"Just hang in there," Lobo told him. "Once we're finished, I'll bring my men!"

"Alright! Thank you so much, Lobo!"

Watching as the Sorano procession left, Mel hurried to her son and asked tentatively, "So? What did Lobo say?"

"Hehe..." Matis smiled gleefully. "Don't worry-I told him everything, and he promised to help, but only after the Soranos are done with their business."

"Business..."

Somehow, Mel frowned-she had a bad feeling since she remembered the man on the stretcher. "Did you ask Lobo why the Soranos came here in full force?"

"Nope." Matis scratched his head in embarrassment. "But come on, Mom-Lobo himself is at best a fringe character in the family, let alone me. It's not in my place to ask..."

Then, he added in a hushed tone, "Still, it has to be something important. Didn't you see that man at the center? That's Emilio Sorano himself! He's going to be the next head of the Sorano family!"

Mel was silent for a while but eventually asked with considerable difficulty, "D-Do you think what Frank Lawrence said might be true? That the Soranos have come here as he told them to?" "What?" Matis was taken aback but soon laughed out loud. "Mom, are you getting senile? You're killing me here! Don't you know how important these people are, especially Emilio Sorano? And you think that they'd apologize to Nash?"

Mel cleared her throat awkwardly in response-Matis was right, there was basically no chance of anything Frank said to be true.

However, she just had this bad feeling.

Frowning, she said, "Why don't we follow them and look? I just feel a little worried."

"Sure." Matis caved in to her instance, "Lobo will be helping us out later anyway. Who knows, Lobo might do it earlier if he's passing by Nash's room. I can't wait to see the look on Frank's face when the real Soranos show up..."

He laughed wildly at his own imagination. "It'd be hilarious."
