Fortunately, Kat was a girl who had this dauntless attitude and would really go for it in any situation.

Nodding at Frank, she gave Willy two audible swipes across the face, leaving all the key members of the Sorano family inhaling sharply.

Many of them turned toward Emilio, as the man was infamous for being overprotective of his son.

The two slaps were no different from slaps to his face!

However, while they all presumed that it was over with the slapping, the Soranos were left watching as Kat inhaled sharply. Then, charging her vigor, she started to clobber Willy even as he lay on the floor! She did not let up, even cursing as she kept hitting Willy, "I'll kill you, fucker! What, do you think bullying my dad makes you a man?! Well, I'll show you now!"

Emilio looked like a housefly flew down his throat as he watched Kat mercilessly thrash his son.

He wanted to stop it, but remembering his father's instructions, had no choice but to grit his teeth and turn away-out of sight, out of mind.

Through it all, Willy's screams resounded across the ward.

Inside, he was tormented by Frank's needle and was now being given a whooping by Kat outside.

He actually wanted to die just then!

Eventually, Kat stopped, huffing as he watched Willy lay limply on the floor, barely breathing.

And while she was busy with Willy, Frank had been watching Emilio's reaction closely.

The man could clearly see his own son being given the beating of his life but did not even breathe a word.

Talk about ruthless.

But while Frank was speechless, he was also wary-the Soranos had to be planning something big, or they would not have shown such restraint.

Turning toward Kat, he asked, "Satisfied?"

Kat nodded repeatedly, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "Yeah!"

"What about you?" Frank turned toward Nash, who was dumbstruck in shock.

He quickly nodded when he heard Frank. "Yes, yes, yes... Oh, Mr. Lawrence... You really didn't have to go that far..."

Since both Yegos had their satisfaction, Frank had no intention to keep messing with the Soranos either. They had been restraining themselves plenty anyway, and Frank did not want to go the distance-he had his own concerns just like them.

Turning to Emilio, he said, "Very well. I can see that you've been sincere, and this issue is settled."

"Phew..."

Seeing that Frank was letting up, Emilio sighed in relief and actually forced a smile. "In that case, the needle..."

Frank did not answer, instead walking right up to Willy and kicking him on the back, leaving a shoe print on his white shirt.

At the same time, a needle shot out from Willy's back into the air.

Frank caught it, and remained impassive as he said, "Go. He'll be alive and kicking in a couple weeks again."

However, his words only left the Soranos aggrieved, and it even felt like the shoe print on Willy's back was on his face instead.

They had certainly never suffered such indignation!

"Hmph!" The Sorano executive who spoke up earlier snorted and turned to leave.

Behind him, the others loaded the barely breathing Willy back on his stretcher and left as well.
