Trevor had put in time and effort into building the farm resort, contributing greatly for the launch.

He even poured in resources from his company Trevor International, bringing in over a dozen subcontractor teams to work simultaneously.

Fortunately, Clark and Gable did not manage to burn down the villas they built, or Trevor would be coming after them himself.

Either way, he was breathing a sigh of catharsis when Frank told him that those responsible were dealt with.

Frank said nothing after hanging up and continued driving toward Laneville.

As soon as he arrived, he found Mark, Gavin, and other key members of the Lane family waiting at the gates.

Even Gavin's sons, Jon and Roth, were there with Fleur and Jade Zahn.

Frank could understand why they were there-Helen had called them before they arrived.

Among them, Jade was fidgeting restlessly. What would she do if her dear daughter got hurt?

As Frank stopped the car in front of the Lanes, he said nothing as he dragged Gable out of the car, and then Luna out of the car trunk.

"Frank Lawrence!" Jade went crazy at the sight, leaping up to push him out of the way and glaring at him. "How could you do this to my daughter?!"

She then felt the bump on Luna's head and the streak of blood left on her neck by Gable's dagger, and she howled, "You did this, didn't you?! I'll kill you! You hear me?! Kill me if you want, and kill Gavin too! Hell, why stop there?! You can kill everyone here!"

"Buzz off!" Frank snapped, pushing her to the floor just as it dawned on him where Luna had inherited her stupidity from.

Walking up to Mark, he said, "Mr. Lane, this whole thing—"

"It's alright, Mr. Lawrence." Mark sighed heavily. "Helen told us everything on the phone."

It was only then that Frank realized he was leaning into his cane, his usual liveliness gone as he seemed to have aged two decades.

He shook his head miserably even as he looked down at Gable, who was on his knees begging. "I thought those two would show sentiment even if they behaved like animals. But now, it seems..." "Calm down, Dad," Gavin reasoned.

"Yeah, what if you ruin your health?" Roth added.

"It's alright. I know myself better than the rest of you." Mark sighed and beckoned at Helen.

As she arrived, she sighed again. "I'm so sorry, Helen. It's my fault. How can I face Henry if those two..."

He was ready to kneel, but Helen quickly stopped him, even forcing a smile. "Please, Granduncle. I'm fine, see? I'm standing right here."

"Hah! You all really bought her lies, huh?!" Jade suddenly snapped as she leapt off the ground, glaring at Frank and Helen.
