Thunder continued, "Most importantly, they are planning something. It's about a land lot that Lanecorp recently acquired, and the Bearson Group tried but repeatedly failed to buy it off their hands, so..."

At that point, Frank vaguely realized that Kilian Lionheart must want the same thing as Silverbell.

Turning toward her with a frown, he asked, "What's this about the spiritron vein over the phone?"

"Spiritron vein?"

Thunder and Bolt were immediately at attention, while Silverbell immediately fidgeted and appeared anxious.

"Silverbell?"

Frank had to say her name again to bring her to her senses, but she said, "I'm sorry, I think we should stay away from the Bearsons for now."

While Frank was surprised that Silverbell was immediately asking him to give up, he asked, "Why?"

"Kilian Lionheart." Silverbell sighed, her eyes flashing coldly. "That man is trouble-he's one of Volsung Sect's best and the elder of their Order of Talons. Moreover, he advanced well into Ascendant rank, and we'd never win in a direct confrontation. It seems that we need to retreat for now and think about this."

"No, we don't." Frank smiled confidently despite Silverbell's suggestion. "So what if he's that strong? He won't stand a chance against me even if he's reached the peak of Ascendant rank."

"What? Does that mean..."

Silverbell glanced at Frank in surprise before she sighed in relief and realization. "Well, if you're not worried, then I have no reason to argue."

"You didn't answer my question. What's a spiritron vein?" "Spiritron vein..."

Silverbell glanced at Thunder and Bolt up front but decided not to worry after some thought. "It's the channels where the spiritual energies in the country flow. I heard from my father that the one who takes control over all eight will become King Dragon, and no one will oppose his rule"

"King Dragon?"

Frank rubbed his chin in thought.

Silverbell sighed and leveled a troubled look at Frank. "Four spiritron veins have been found in Draconia, but their existence is kept secret. Each of the Four Families of Morhen control one."

Frank did not seem to get it, however, as he was quickly doing the math. "The land we recently acquired, but Lanecorp refused to sell despite the Bearsons' offers..."

Whipping out his phone right then, Frank dialed a number. "I have a question, Helen."

"Yeah?" Helen appeared calmer, seemingly relieved that her brother was safe.

"Have the Bearsons made offers to buy one of our land lots?"

"The Bearsons?"

Helen did a double take and replied confidently, "Yes, and I remember it well, because they were asking to buy that land you bought from Zomber Group, and on more than one occasion."
