I entered my room and grabbed a large jumper and leggings from my drawers. After heading into my bathroom, I carelessly threw off my clothes, and quite literally, jumped into the shower.
The water pelting down on my back worked as a massager, easing the ache and pain straight from my muscles. If it was even possible, my bruises seemed less noticeable now, despite the fact that I had just been thrown around a boxing ring for almost over four hours.
I felt something heavy on my arm, and my eyes widened when I realized that I had yet to take off my wrap and brace. I just had been so eager to shower, that I hadn't remembered.
I groaned and struggled to untie the brace from my wrist, but with one hand, it was nearly impossible. I regretted washing my body first, instead of my hair, because now I couldn't continue to shower with the brace still on. Shit, I thought to myself.
Climbing out of the shower, I managed to wrap a towel around my drenched body, and found myself walking out of my room, and across the hallways.
What if he wasn't there ?
Biting my lip anxiously, I knocked softly on the door, hoping that Sebastian would answer.
<< You know, I knew you were going to forget about the wrap. » My head snapped in the direction of his voice, and my eyes met his. He stood at the top of the staircase, an amused expression now replacing his annoyed one that I had seen only moments ago.
<< Can you just help me get this stupid brace off? >> I muttered, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
Sebastian chuckled, and motioned for me to go into my room. He followed behind me, guiding me through the room and back into my still steamy bathroom. I let out a gasp of surprise when he lifted me up and onto the counter, ignoring the way my hand frantically gripped at my towel, making sure I didn't reveal anything.
<< Bloody idiot, » Sebastian murmured, his fingers working to untie the knot that let me remind you, he tied earlier this morning
<< Don't call yourself that Sebastian! You're not an idiot, but merely someone who just dances on the verge of being one. >> This made Sebastian scowl, and work harder to untie the knot.
Once it was untied, a dull pain spread throughout my wrist, and I felt my hand twitch uncomfortably. He removed all the wet gauze, throwing it away before he examined my wrist.
<< I think it's sprained, but nothing too serious. You should wear this brace for the next couple of days and then you'll be fine. >> I nodded my head in agreement, my eyes trailing over my swollen and discolored wrist.
<< How am I going to wash my hair now ? >> I asked quietly, mostly to myself. I heard Sebastian sigh above me, and once again I found myself desperately clutching onto my towel, for Sebastian felt the need to pick me up again.
I remained silent as he set me on the ground, and gestured for me to go back into the shower. I simply stared back at him in confusion, unsure of what was going through his head.
<< I'll wash your hair for you. >> He explained, holding open the shower curtain.
<< But my towel, >> I said, still confused.
Sebastian smirked and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. << I mean, if you don't want it-<<
<< Shut up. >> I snapped, holding it closer that ever.

It surprised me, how Sebastian didn't even mind getting his clothes soaking wet, as he stood behind me and washed my hair. His fingers were gifts from God- Don't even think about them like that.
And I was completely relaxed. By the time he was finished, my towel was heavy with water, but I didn't care.
<< Why are you being like this? >> I asked after entering my room, now clothed in the outfit I had picked out before. Sebastian was leaning against the wall, his clothes dripping onto the hardwood floor. << What do you mean? >> He eyes met mine, smoldering me.
<< It just doesn't make sense. It doesn't go along with the pa-«< I cut myself off. I felt heat rise to my cheeks at the realization that I was about to tell him about the pattern I had discovered with him.
<< I'm sorry, what? >> Sebastian asked, not missing a beat.
<< Nothing. >> I said quickly, my fingers lightly combing through my hair as a distraction.
<< Evie, » he used a warning tone, << tell me. >>
My eyes darted to the floor, and I grew nervous. << I, um, the- the pattern. >>
<< Pattern? >> Sebastian asked, his expression now amused.
I nodded my head, my eyes now studying him, waiting for his reaction.
<< That's cute. >> He moved forward, his body coming closer and closer. I remained unmoving, and only stared as he stop inches away.
<< Does my sweet Evelyn Summers think she has me all figured out? >> Sebastian asked. Shivers ran down my body and I bit my lip instinctively..
<< Because, »> he took that final step forward, so that our bodies were now touching, << I can assure you, you don't. >>
My clothes were now damp and I shivered once more when Sebastian pulled away, his eyes glinting at me mischievously.
« Don't forget, »> he called over his shoulder, as he was about to exit, << you are meeting the rest of Kings later. >>
The second my door closed, an avalanche of emotions buried me, and I struggled to think straight.
I should have been thinking about the what was going to happen tonight, or even about Danny and the London's Eyes.
But no, my thoughts were haunted and consumed by four simple words.
My sweet Evelyn Summers.
