Sherman took a puff of a cigarette and narrowed his eyes. Was George not with Suzy? Had he switched partners? With a cynical smile on his handsome, cartoon-like face, he said, "How beautiful could she possibly be that you're even

drooling?"

Zeke Yorks was sitting on Cameron's left-hand side, and he leaned over to pour a drink for Sherman. He said with a smile, "I've seen her before. She truly is gorgeous, and those eyes of hers are amazing! But George has made it clear that no one is allowed to touch that little girl, so we can only look at her!"

Sherman sneered. "George made it clear, you say? Are his words an imperial decree?".

Only Sherman would dare to say these words out loud, but no one else dared to agree with him. His words were merely followed by scornful laughter all around.

At this moment, a server came into the room to deliver some drinks. In order to prove that he was telling the truth, Zeke immediately pointed to the person who came in. "If you don't believe me, Sher, you can go ahead and ask her whether or not I'm telling the truth."

The person who came in was Winter. She was kneeling down on one knee and placing the beverages on the table. Upon hearing this, she shot a coquettish glance at Sherman before asking Zeke with a smile, "What'd you say just now, Mr. Yorks? I didn't hear you clearly."

Zeke said, "You have a new girl on the eighth floor. She's incredibly gorgeous and is solely responsible for Room 8809. Could you tell Sher here that it's the truth?"

Winter showed a somewhat stunned expression and said gently, "Mr. Yorks is right. It's true."

She glanced over at Sherman carefully, sighed, and said with a smile, "As soon as she came to Kelsen, she was assigned to the eighth floor. Luna was completely defeated by her on her first day, so us girls think that she's truly not a simple person. Sure enough, it became clear within two days that she's Mr. Laine's person."

Sherman's thin lips curled up into a sneer. "Call her in here and let me have a look at her!" Winter seemed to have been placed in a difficult predicament. "It's not that I don't want to help you, Mr. Miller, but I simply don't dare to! She's someone who's being protected by Mr. Laine, and even Cassidy doesn't dare to bother her. Usually, no matter how busy we are, we won't dare to ask her to help out. Or else, if she were to get unhappy, we'd probably lose our jobs!"

Sherman narrowed his eyes and smiled. His tone was getting colder, "Is she truly that rampant?"

Winter pouted. She nodded and continued, "Frankly speaking, she's even more rampant than what I just described. In any case, she doesn't bat an eyelid toward anyone here. If I tell her that Mr. Miller is looking for her, she probably won't give you the time of day! We can't do anything about it since her bankroller is Mr. George Laine himself!"

The alcohol Zeke had drunk was hitting him now. He sneered, "What? She won't give Sher the time of day? Who does she think she is? If George truly treasures her so much, he should just hide her under his covers all day. Why'd he let her out?"

Sherman leaned on the back of the sofa and played with a lighter in his hand. He casually asked, "What's her name?" Winter said, "Suzy Shirley."

Sherman paused, slowly raised his head, and asked again, "What's her name?" "Suzy Shirley," said Winter again.

Cameron's expression changed as soon as he heard the name. He turned to look at Sherman, and sure enough, there was something amiss with his expression.

In order to curry favor with Sherman, Zeke's words became harsher. "Judging by her name, she doesn't even sound fun to play with. She's just ab*tch who serves George Laine, but the girl truly started to think that she's been inlaid with gold or something!"

Winter responded in agreement, "She truly is inlaid with gold now. Or else, how could she have managed to seduce Mr. Laine?"

Cameron was usually on good terms with Zeke, so he hurriedly shot a meaningful glance toward him. However, Zeke assumed that Cameron was asking him to be even more ruthless, so he continued to scorn Suzy. "Some women out there are blatantly cheap and stupid. She thinks she can do whatever she wants with George supporting her. What? She won't bat an eyelid toward Sher? Well, let her little master come instead. Let's see if he's willing to give Sher the time of day!" Cameron shot a glare at him, and Zeke grew somewhat confused. The expression on Sherman's face grew somewhat distorted. He placed the cigarette in his hand into the ashtray, turned to Zeke, and said, "You go over and ask her to come here. Tell her that I'm looking for her!" Zeke got up immediately. "Yes! Just wait here, Sher. I'll bring her here even if I have to tie her up to do it."

"Do you think I'm some kind of mobster? Tie her up, you say?" Sherman's lips were curled up as he said half-jokingly.
