Triplets on Secret Mission -
Chapter 1335
Chapter 1335
Sean didn't reply immediately.
He had to admit that what Selon was offering was quite tempting.
Before, he had promised Molly to help Mr. Ballard to look for his family. Sean was able to replace some of the possible locations, but most of the people of the Ballard family were still not found.
Therefore, his men didn't dare to make a move.
What Sean didn't expect was that Selon would bring such good news.
The bargaining chip might be good, but Sean somehow still felt something was wrong.
He felt that Selon was being a little too honest.
Selon had played all his cards at the beginning. Had he given up and didn't want to resist anymore or was there something else?
Would a family that had helped the Martial Art Union for so long be so easily tamed?
Even if Selon was willing, what about Mr. Shepard Sr.? Was he willing as well? With that thought in mind, Sean squinted his eyes as he glared at Selon with a sharp gaze. His gaze was dark and unpredictable. It was as if he could see through anyone.
When Selon faced Sean, he felt he was under a ton of pressure.
Selon subconsciously looked away and looked down.
Amongst the crowd on the streets, there were a few figures which weren't very obvious but looked very sudden that were moving.
Selon said in surprise, 'Mr. Anderson, I've come today with sincerity, but you don't seem to treat me very friendly at all. Are these people here to keep an eye on me?"
Sean was a little surprised when he heard those words.
'Looks like Selon has very sharp senses.
Sean's men were all quite good at hiding themselves, but Selon was still able to spot them.
However, Sean quickly calmed down. He was just about to say something when he looked at Selon, who was sitting opposite him, flipping his collar.
Then, Sean saw a black object on the inside of Selon's clothes.
It seemed to be a bug.
Sean's eyes turned sharp as he looked at Selon.
Selon realized that Sean had noticed the bug and quickly dipped his fingers in water and wrote something on the table.
Moments later, a few words appeared on the table.
"We're being watched."
"They're in the building opposite us."
"Play along with me."
Sean frowned. Before he could react, Selon said, "Mr. Anderson, am I being sincere enough?"
Sean hesitated for a while and realized what was going on. The bug was probably installed by the Martial Art Union and told Selon to keep it on him.
This meant that what Selon had said was what the Martial Art Union told him to say.
If that was the case, then what was the Martial Art Union after?
With that thought in mind, Sean responded very quickly. "I have to admit, your second bargaining chip has moved me. I want to save the people of the Ballard family. This is my promise to Molly,"
Selon seemed to have breathed a sigh of relief. 'This means that we can work together, right?"
"That's right. However, how will I know that you're telling the truth?"
Sean's voice sounded like he still didn't fully trust Selon.
"That's easy. You can send your men to check. The Shepard family will always be based in the country. You can take care of us whenever you want. However, there's one thing that I need your help with, Mr. Anderson," said Selon.
"What is it?" asked Sean.
"About the Martial Art Union... You should know that my family and the Martial Art Union have been working together for a long time. They won't let us off that easily. To be honest with you, my sister, Beth, has been missing for two days. They called us and told us to pick her up at the South Port Pier tomorrow night... I think they'll try and threaten us with my sister and force us to cooperate with them. Therefore, I hope that Mr. Anderson can help us save her."
As Selon said those words, he pointed at the words on the table. 'They're going to ambush you."
Sean's eyes turned dark
'So the Martial Art Union wants to ambush me?' thought Sean.
