Chapter 208

Chapter 208

“Don’t worry, the fever is gone now. I’m fine.” Molly consoled the triplets, but she still was not in the beststate as she still looked sick. Then, she explained to Sean defeatedly, “I didn’t expect that little amount ofrain would get me sick.”

Sean smiled faintly, and his eyes were bright. “Be careful next time.”

Though it were words of concern, Molly strangely felt like he was ordering her as her boss…

She was in a daze for a while before she continued, “Let’s go to the hospital tomorrow then.” She wasnot in good shape to do a complete check-up with Sean. “Don’t worry. We’ll go when you’re better.” Seanwas not in a rush either. At the same time, in the Nolan family.

Abigail was sitting in her room with a prideful look on her face. Her eyes were cold as she held up apiece of paper with her right hand while her left hand was placed on her right elbow. The content on thepaper was Molly’s information.

She had a laptop on her desk as well. The screen was filled with screenshots that were sent by herassistant.

They were all regarding Molly’s downfall a few years back. However, there was no news about Mollyafter she had gone abroad.

Abigail finished reading all of them and smiled delightfully, though her smile was cold.

“Oh, so Molly is the one with such a nasty scandal back then…’

‘I even thought she was someone special since she’s living in Terahis Grove.’

‘Having an affair and a one-night-stand, getting pregnant, and bringing down the May family. They evendisowned her!’ Abigail put down the paper and rested her fair arm on the desk as her smile slowly faded.

‘Does a filthy woman like Molly really think she could take Sean away from me?’

Abigail looked down on her, and she believed that Sean would never be interested in Molly as

well.

She completely treated Molly as nothing when she thought about this. ‘I thought she’s a tough rival, but itturns out she’s a filthy woman. I don’t even know how many men she had slept with. She probablydoesn’t even know the father of her children. Even if she was pretty, what’s the point?’

Abigail was finally relieved and did not see Molly as a threat anymore. She just laid back on her chair, relaxed.

Just like before, she was certain that she would be Sean’s wife.

On the other hand, Molly could not go to the hospital with Sean as she was taking a rest at home. So,she opened her small box in her room.

When the lid opened, a thick scent of bitter yet aromatic herbs filled the air, as opposed to

some usual pills. She took out a few herbs and started grinding them into powder in a mortar. She thenplaced it aside after putting it in a small teabag.

Then, she took out another handful of different herbs and cut them into pieces before boiling them in thekitchen with low heat. It took her half a day to finish boiling them.

Afterward, Molly poured the medicated water that she made into a bucket, along with a pack of ginger. She soaked her legs in it and had a cup of tea in her hands, which was made with water and the herbsthat she had ground previously.

Just like that, she soaked her legs twice a day and drank some of that medicated tea from time to time. She got better at an unusually fast speed, especially her energy level, which was gradually improving aswell. So, she woke up early in the morning the next day. Sean saw her at his door full of energy, unlikehow she was the day before. ‘I think she has recovered,’ he thought. However, he still asked her, “Howare you feeling?”

“Great. I’m not dizzy anymore; I’m fine now,” Molly answered.

“Let’s go then.” Molly made way for him as soon as he spoke.

Then, she got into the car after him and headed to the hospital. She was going to do a full check-up withSean.

There was some traffic on their way there, so car horns were occasionally blaring.
