Chapter 281

Chapter 281

Just as the two were dicussing, the door suddenly opened, they turned around and looked out

Molly was done taking a shower. Every night, she had the habit of taking a look at Alex and In twlore shewent to bed. When she opened the room and saw the two still on the computer, she could not help buturge them, “Why are the two of you still on the computer at this hour? Aren’t you worried that you mightdamage your eyes? Hurry up and take a shower.” Thry replied in unison, “Alright, mom.”

Alex immediately switched off the computer, and Ben followed suit. The two tacitly agreed to not bring upwhat they had discovered and went to shower obediently.

Once Molly had left, Alex reminded Ben, “Don’t tell mom yet.”

Ben agreed

The following morning, Molly had no intentions of leaving the house after breakfast. She intended to stayhome and spend time with her three children.

‘I have nothing to do anyway. After all, there’re too many rumors about me flying around, so going outisn’t a wise choice. I’ll stay home instead,’ Molly thought.

Furthermore, she did not care what others said about her. After all, the truth prevailed above all, so shedid not have to waste her breath explaining herself to others. Throughout the years, she couldconfidently say that she had never done anything against her morals, whether in her work or personallife.

Molly was not stupid; it was obvious that the incident was targeting her. For this reason, she did not feelanxious.

‘Those who are innocent will remain innocent until the end. The person behind this incident should be theone feeling anxious. Did they want me to lose my reputation the way I did years ago? Not this time,’ shethought.

Molly did not seem to be affected by the comments online. She stayed home and supervised her childrenstudying while reading a medical book.

Anderson Corporation.

Sean arrived early in the morning. Even though he rarely showed up at the office, his staff could feel himpaying attention to them recently; they were hard at work and did not dare to loaf on their jobs.

Sean was having an early morning meeting. He learned about the various department’s arrangementsand gave them reminders on several matters. Once the meeting was over, Tony came over.

“Boss, the reporter managed to get something out of Diana. Diana intends to defame Dr. May on a largescale online. She said that Dr. May was busy dating some man while her mother was suffering in thehospital.”

The conference room was empty other than the two of them. Sean’s expression darkened after he heardTony’s report. He had an icy look. This was the first time somebody dared to get up to do little tricksbehind his back; he felt as if she was challenging his position.

Tony was done reporting to Sean. He thought to himself, ‘Diana is asking for it. Defaming Dr. May wasn’tenough; she even defamed the boss. Not a single person in Northfolk ever dared to have such a thought. Is she tired of living, or is she not right in the head? She’s practically seeking death and doesn’t want tostay in Northfolk any longer! Tony continued speaking, “However, she certainly won’t act rashly right now. We’ve given her a warning.”

Sean turned to him with a questioning gaze. Tony quickly added, “I got someone to look her up. DianaMay is a wicked person. Since she managed to cause such a ruckus within a day, she must not be agood person. This also wouldn’t be her first few times committing such acts. As expected, we discoveredsomething. We continued digging, and hey! It wasn’t a small matter! After that, I got the reporter to mailher all of the information. I also got him to warn her to not think of doing anything bad.”

Tony reported all of his replaceings honestly. However, he realized that his boss seemed to be lost inthought.
