Chapter 282

Chapter 282

Meanwhile, Diana was at home. She happily opened the thick package containing the information thereporter had sent her.

‘You’re done for, Molly May!’ she thought.

Then, she look out a photo. She glanced at it and instantly froze.

‘None of the photos have Molly in them; they are all photos of myself!’ she thought. Diana felt her fingersgo cold. She quickly poured out the contents in the package and rummaged through them.

‘How’s this possible? Did I not tell him to investigate Molly? Why are all of these photos of me? This isn’tpossible! The May family had covered up all of these incidents back then. How could an ordinary reportermanage to dig up such information? What does he want?!” She quickly grabbed the phone and calledthe reporter. “What do you mean by all this?” she asked angrily. All of the information and photos wererelated to her scandals. Diana stared at the photo laid out in front of her.

Diana was currently a fashion designer. It did not take much investigation for one to know that she hadbeen accused of plagiarizing her roommate’s design draft back in college. Ultimately, her name wascleared after everyone learned it was a misunderstanding. However, the photo in front of her was not ofher being innocent! It was evidence of her plagiarizing. The truth was that she used her relationship withthe May family to clear her name. Nevertheless, she still felt worried, so she turned the matter aroundand accused her roommate of plagiarism instead. Additionally, that roommate was also wrongly accusedof framing others. In the end, Diana’s roommate got expelled from college and could no longer affect her.Diana did not bother replaceing out what happened after that.

Even so, she found a hospital certification in the stack of information!

This was when she learned that her housemate had fallen into depression after being expelled fromcollege. Since her housemate’s mental health was in a bad state, she practically had no chance of beingin the fashion design world.

“Ms. May, I should be the one asking you that question!” the reporter said.

The reporter loathed Diana.

‘This woman almost ended my career! The competition in the news industry has always been veryintense, so resources are incredibly precious. If I lose my job, my past efforts will go to waste! What’smore, if I had offended the Anderson family, who would I run to?’ he thought. He continued speakingangrily, “What do you mean? You framed me to offend people whom I shouldn’t offend! I’m advising you;you better stop now. Otherwise, I’ll reveal all of these. One

more thing, don’t think of defaming Molly May. I’ll still let the world know of your ‘kind acts’ if you do. Thisincludes how you shamelessly hogged other people’s parents and ignored your biological parents forbeing poor!” Then, he hung up.

Diana shook with rage. She furiously threw her phone onto the bed and flung the information onto theground.

Her face was distorted with anger. She was so angry that she looked like a raging beast. Nobody hadever had her in the palm of their hand before. ‘I never expected things to turn out this way. How did I endup in this situation?’ Diana thought. However, the reporter’s warning worked. Since Diana was somewhatknown in the fashion design world, such an exposé would destroy her career.
