Amara kept her cool, not letting any anger or sadness seep into her voice. She hoped the issue would just blow over without any fuss.

But she hadn't anticipated Finnian's cold demeanor as he spoke, "Change that intimate scene. I don't want Liliana to be too exposed."

Amara's heart clenched. She knew she probably shouldn't ask, but the words slipped out anyway. "Why? You don't like seeing her with another man?"

"Yeah," Finnian admitted, his expression impassive.

Amara's lips lost some of their color, and her gaze dropped. She berated herself for asking such a question. Hadn't she already known the answer?

"I'll think about it."

She turned away to busy herself with the scripts on the table, hoping to hide her distress. Finnian glanced at her back, his eyes narrowing before he left the room.

The next morning, Liliana arrived at the set looking refreshed, her cheeks rosy as Finnian accompanied her. She graciously thanked everyone who had helped her the previous day.

They were set to reshoot the scene from yesterday. Cedric had received Finnian's orders to revise the script for Liliana, but after he relayed the message to Amara, the latter didn't respond. She wasn't answering her phone either, making Cedric increasingly anxious.

"Mr. Zade, is the new script ready?" Liliana asked with a smile after finishing her morning greetings.

Cedric wiped the sweat from his brow, forcing a smile. "It'll be ready soon, don't worry. I'll get it to you shortly."

He discreetly sent another text to Amara, [Where are you???? Get back here ASAP!!!! And don't forget to revise the script!!!!]

Finnian noticed Cedric texting and somehow sensed it was directed at Amara, who had yet to arrive. He stole a glance at the door.

Just then, the door swung open, and Amara entered with a woman who wasn't particularly striking in the face but had an impressive figure. All eyes turned to them.

Amara's expression remained unchanged as she led the woman over to Cedric and said, "Cedric, this is the stand-in I've found for Liliana. She can take over all the love scenes and kissing scenes. Sunny, turn around so Mr. Zade can see you."

Sunny turned around, and there was a collective gasp from the onlookers, marveling at her resemblance to Liliana; especially their back was eerily the same.

Cedric assessed Sunny. Honestly, he didn't want to change the script either, as directors and scriptwriters knew best how to convey the story's emotions. Changing it would dilute the impact.

But Finnian was their financial backer, and his wishes had to be honored. Now, with Amara replaceing a stand-in, they could keep the original scenes and still meet Finnian's demands. Cedric was thrilled.

However, Liliana approached, her beautiful face tinged with anger. "Is this my stand-in? Ms. Sullivan, I don't agree with this."

While using stand-ins was common, everyone knew a good actor rarely needed one. Only those whose skills were inferior would seek one.

Thus, Liliana reckoned Amara's bringing a stand-in was an insult to her.

"I'm doing this scene myself, Mr. Zade," she declared firmly. "I refuse to use a stand-in."
