"Yeah." Vincent glanced at the elevators. "Has Tiffany gone?"

"She's already left." Kelly felt rather unhappy.

"Okay. I've already found a caretaker for Grandma. There are a lot of people in the hospital, so you can go home if you think it's too noisy," Vincent said politely.

"I don't replace it noisy. I'm just afraid that Mrs. Lewis Senior doesn't like having me around." Kelly lowered her eyes, sounding rather woeful.

Vincent frowned. "Grandma likes you now; don't overthink it."

"What about you, then?" Kelly looked up at him with a hopeful look in her eyes. "Do you like me?"

Vincent paused.

He didn't want to lie to Kelly when she was being so forthright, and he didn't think he needed to lie either. However, he was afraid that he would hurt her pride if he told the truth.

After all, he was the one who had made the mistake. He had brought her to live with them because he had wanted to compensate for his mistakes.

He had also thought that if he developed feelings, they could get to know each other more.

His feelings for her that night had been so strong, but unexpectedly, he hadn't had any such feelings for her since then. In fact, he felt much more strongly for Tiffany than he did for Kelly...

"I understand." Kelly looked disappointed, but she forced a smile. "Mr. Lewis, if you really dislike me that much, then there's no point for me to keep staying at the villa. I'll go home and pack up today, and then I'll move out."

"Kelly." Vincent called out to her. He hesitated for a moment before saying, "I'll spend time with you tonight."

No matter what, he still had to take responsibility, and he should give Kelly a chance.

Kelly turned in surprise, and the emotions in her eyes changed. She couldn't help smiling. "Really?"

"Yes." Vincent felt conflicted.

Kelly smiled sweetly. "I'll be waiting for you tonight."

"Okay." Vincent raised his wrist to look at his watch. "I'm going to the office. See you tonight."

"Bye." Kelly watched him take the

elevator down. She was delighted She would have to make sure to prepare well for tonight so that she could win him over!

After Tiffany left the hospital, she

called Teresa and told her that Anna was sick. She asked if Teresa had time to make a few appetizers.

Teresa agreed at once, and she asked after Anna's condition.

As they were talking, Eric's voice traveled over the phone. "Who's that at this early hour?"

"It's Tiff."

"I've got to go, Teri. I'll pick dinner up when you've made it."

"Alright."

After Teresa hung up, Eric said irritatedly, "Why was she calling?"

Eric paused, and his eyes

His attitude changed at once.' are you cooking? I'll go and buy the ingredients."

Teresa was silent.

Vincent drove out of the hospital, but he didn't see any sign of Tiffany on the road.

When he reached the office, he pushed the door open. There were two unwelcome guests sitting inside.

"Tiff asked me to help her cook dinner for someone who's sick. She's going to take it to the hospital tonight."

"Who's sick?" Eric asked casually.

"Her boss' grandmother."
