Unexpected Encounter with my Boss (Vincent and Tiffany) -
Chapter 102
"Vince," Mandy said sweetly the moment she saw him. She got up and walked over, as if she wanted to give him a hug.
Vincent pushed her aside expressionlessly. His gaze swept over to Tiffany's workstation, which was empty. She hadn't arrived yet.
He walked over to his chair, sat down, and adjusted his cuffs before looking at Charles. "You're here early. Is there something you wanted to see me about?"
Charles raised his eyebrows. He pointed to, Mandy, as if cueing her to begin her performance.
Mandy walked over to Vincent's desk and pointed to Tiffany's seat. "Vince, did you leave that seat specially for me?"
"No!" Vincent answered shortly.
Mandy pouted. "I don't believe you!"
This wasn't the first time she had been to Vincent's office. In all these years, Alex was the only assistant who had won Vincent's approval. If the seat wasn't for Mandy, then whose was it? At that moment, the door to the office was pushed open, and Tiffany walked in.
The moment she entered, three pairs of eyes swung toward her. Startled, she greeted them politely. "Hello Mr. Lewis, Mr. Stewart, and Ms. Stewart."
"Well, if it isn't Mimosa!" Charles laughed. His eyes flicked toward Vincent. Although Vincent looked perfectly calm, Charles could tell from his slightly lifted eyebrows that he was happy. "Mimosa?" Mandy laughed. "Who would ever have such a strange name?"
Tiffany bit her lip and said, "My name is Tiffany, not Mimosa. Stop making fun of me, Mr. Stewart."
Charles grinned and said nothing.
Mandy watched Tiffany walk over to that special office desk and sit down. She immediately protested, "Vince, are all your staff so arrogant? How could she speak to a client this way? It's so rude!" Vincent ignored her and answered Charles impassively, "Get to the point. If there isn't anything you want to say, we're going to start work."
"There is something." Charles did not beat around the bush. "I heard that the assistant who came two days ago has been fired? Mandy wants to try. Do you think—"
"You can go to the HR department for matters pertaining to employment. I'm not in charge of that."
"Can't you decide on her acceptance with just a single word?" Charles had been pestered relentlessly by Mandy, and he rubbed his forehead tiredly.
"If you agree, I'll sign that
tion you mentioned the tast s that?" Content belon 40%.
get 60%, and I'll
Vincent didn't answer immediately. He tapped his finger on the edge of his desk, as if he were considering the matter.
"Charlie!" Mandy was anxious.
Charles gritted his teeth. "Fine, 30% for me, 70% for you! Is that good enough?"
Vincent stopped tapping and looked up blankly. "20-80."
Charles' eyes bulged out of his head. "What?"
"20-80." Vincent repeated himself.
"No!" Charles refused at once. "30-70 is my limit."
Vincent smiled slightly. "30-70 is the contractual limit, not yours."
"Come on, Vincent. Are you really going to do this to me?"
Vincent did not waste any time. He called out to Tiffany. "Tiffany, see Mr. Stewart out."
"Just give him the 20-80!" Mandy said petulantly. "You can just earn less, Charlie."
"This isn't about earning less, silly woman! Do you know how much 'a little' is? It's 100 million dollars!"
That wasn't a small amount!
"It's just 100 million dollars! That's nothing compared to your sister's happiness."
Charles was defeated by her
