Chapter 30

Kasens POV

I nod and I and sam make our way to our seats at the head of the table. My dad Sits next to me and Sam sits on my Left. Josh and Jake stand behind us. Sam’s dad stands behind my dad and Rowan sits next to him. One by one the alphas file in and replace their seats with their Gammas standing behind them.

“Thank you all for joining us. There is water and refreshments here if needed. If anyone needs or wants something specific, please let me know and I will make it happen.” Sam says and then looks to me to start this meeting.

“As you were all made aware briefly, we are waging war on the Bear kingdom. What I didn’t mention was that we are also waging war on the Supernatural Council as well. I asked you to be discreet in coming here for this reason. I do ask that you hold all question until the end. You have a copy of this whole meeting in the pamphlets. I will try to keep it short and sweet, but there is a lot of information that this may take a while.” I saw. Samantha squeezes my hand for support. I look to her, raise her hand and k**s it.

“Shortly after my mate arrived here, she was fighting with a bear. It wasn’t just any bear. It was one of the Royal bear Shifters.” I said and I linked Duke to join us and bring Theo in. I wanted him brought in separately to show he is on our side. They stepped through the doors and I heard gasps.

“I am sure you are all aware of the rumors surrounding Prince Theo. But I am here to tell you they are false. False stories spread by the bear king and council because he decided to go against them. The bear kingdom has been attacking other supernatural kingdoms and royal families. Either wiping them out or forcing them into hiding. I gave him a lie detector test and truth serum. We also have the Goddesses Testament that he is an ally. After he was taken down for fighting my mate and we discovered he was no threat we continued questioning him. He informed us of the attacks and informed us that we were next. The bear king is planning to wipe out the werewolf population, and he is doing it with the Councils help. They are funding him, supplying troops, and giving out trade secrets and top-secret information. It was also brought to my attention that my Ex-Fiancé has a family member high up in the council ranks. She was feeding him information from me without my knowledge and was planning to kill me after she took the throne.” I said and I heard numerous growls.

“Luckily, circumstances happened, and the engagement was broken off years ago. She still stuck around and snuck as much information as she could. Our troops, our pack lands, how many packs are under our protection, where they’re located. Everyone in this room has a pack and family that is now in danger.” The growls got even louder.

“Settle down.” I command, and the room quietens. Sam takes a moment to speak up.

“This is why we asked for your support and help. We don’t want it to even come close to that. We want to attack while they think we are still in the dark. We want to bring the fight to them. The Faes were wipes out, and the witches and vampire numbers are dwindling. We have witches and vampire allies coming tonight. We will all work together. We all have a common enemy. The council and the Bear king.” She says and everyone nods.

“We are going to train, everyone together. All packs, All alphas, All Gammas, Everyone. Even the witches and Vampires will join in the training. We need to be a unified front. We need to work together. From the information we have and the steady flow of information we have coming from the bear kingdom allies we have they are planning to attack at the beginning of summer. That gives us four months to prepare and attack. We need to keep the council unaware of what were doing. Being inconspicuous is key here. As for the council after the bear kingdom, we plan to overthrow them all. Any questions?” A few hands go up. I nod to Alpha Carson and his dad Alpha Aaron.

“What are we going to do once we overthrow the council?” They ask. I look to sam.

“It was your idea, love. You take the lead here.” Everyone looks shocked. Most lunas stick to being a mother to the pack. But my mate is a warrior at heart. She is a warrior princess.

“We plan to implement an election system. Every Supernatural kingdom will hold elections for candidates and the people of that kingdom will vote for who they want representing them. We will limit terms for Council members to every 3 to 5 years and on the 5th year, we will host a new election. That way it is people that are chosen by the kingdoms to represent them and there is a fresh face every year. I feel that giving the people a voice to speak will help all the kingdoms live together peacefully. If anyone else has any ideas, they would be welcome.” she says.

Carson nods and speaks up. “I think that’s a great idea, but how do we go about picking candidates?”

Sam spoke up and said, “Well, after the war, we will send out kingdom wide notices of the upcoming elections. We will have people who want to run for our campaign and give the people reasons to vote for them. Much like the humans hold elections for their political systems.” I see nods around the room.

“I’m in favor. As for the Bear king, what are we going to do? Wipe them out or place a new monarchy?”

I look to Theo. “I think that should be left up to this Prince. Theo, what do you think? Rightfully it would be your kingdom.”

Samanthas POV

“I’d like some time to think about it. If that would be alright?” Theo asked. Kasen nodded his head.

“Alright if there are no other questions, I would like to go over some schedules. We usually run training in the mornings before breakfast, and in the evenings before dinner. If that doesn’t work with anyone let me know. The training grounds, gym, and all equipment are available for everyone to use. Also, I would like to schedule times with half of every fighter here to work together. Half work in the am and half in the PM and switch it up every few days so everyone can get used to all possible fighting styles. I am inviting other kingdoms to train with us as well. Witches, Vamps, and as much as I know some will protest this, we will be having the allied bear shifters here as well.”

There were murmurs and people getting worked up. I decided to say something.

“Hush, everyone. This will be a good thing. The bear shifters will give us insight on how to fight them, their weaknesses, and their strengths, it will be like an inside edition on fighting them. The allied bear shifters will be screened before coming into the territory. Everyone we allow in, the goddess has sent to us personally.”

One of the Gammas spoke up. “I beg your pardon your grace, but how do you know the Goddess sent them to us?” he asked.

“Because I met with the goddess.” Some were whispering how, why, doubts. “I have come to realize that I am a direct descendant of the goddess. My b***d line comes from the Silver Star pack. I am also not of Beta b***d like we thought. I am of alpha b***d. My uncle is sitting next to you. He is the Alpha of the Rogues and was the previous alpha of the Silver Star pack before it was wiped out. My being of Royal b***d is probably why I was Mated to the King. Selene works in mysterious ways. The goddess told me that everyone who makes their way to our pack was sent by her, that I would have a way to tell who our ally is truthfully and who isn’t.” I said.

Carson and Alpha Aaron spoke next. “If you are of alpha b***d why were your father and your brother our betas previously?”

My dad spoke for me. “I decided to omit the fact that I am of Alpha B***d. My mate hailed from your pack. I wanted to stay with my mate. Both Jake, and Samantha were unaware of our family’s lineage. They didn’t replace out until yesterday themselves.” They all nodded.

“Also, I am starting a camp for the Lunas and those who do not wish to fight to start training for either medical or hospitality. I will be fighting, any lunas who wish to fight are welcome as well. But those who are unable and do not want to fight will have ways to contribute.” There were nods.

“Alright, I think that is enough for now. If you have any questions later, you know where to replace me. We will be breaking for now to have lunch. Throughout the day the witches and vampires will arrive. Training this evening will be at 5PM.”

Kasen and I decided to take a break from all of the war preparations and spend some one on one time together. “So, my King. What would you like to do? No Paperwork, no preparations, no duties, just me and you?” I say while rubbing his shoulders.

“I could think of a few ways we could spend that time.” he said with a smirk. I ran my fingers through his black hair and leaned down to k**s his cheeks. He turned his head, and I was staring into his icy blue eyes.

“What do you say we run a bath, and take the afternoon to relax?” He mentions.

“That actually sounds perfect.” Before I know it, he has scooped me up and is carrying me bridal style through the castle to our apartment. As soon as we walked in, I was met with Rose petals everywhere and candles lit.

“How did you do this?” he just shrugged and smiled.

“I may have had some help from a certain sister. She knew I wanted to do this and helped while we were in the meeting.” I didn’t say anything. I just smiled and leaned in for a k**s. It started slow, and passionate. That was until I decided to take his bottom l*p in between my teeth. We are werewolves, we crave intimacy, and s*x. It’s who we are.

He g*****d as soon as I bit into his l*p. He carried me to the bedroom and tossed me onto the bed. He grabbed me by my ankles and pulled me towards him.

“I think, you are wearing too much, my queen.” He whispers as he k****s my ankle. I unbutton my pants and slide them down and he pulls them off. Once he sees I am wearing a mint green lacy thong his eyes darken. He is a sucker for lace.

He slowly and torturously k****s up my leg. Nipping at my skin as he goes. A trail of heat, sparks, and goosebumps follow his path.

“Stop teasing me mate.” I say breathlessly. He smirks and bites his l*p.

“I plan to tease you and so much more.” He climbs on top of me and I wrap my legs around his waist. His lips connect with mine and his hand reaches under my blouse and gropes my breast. I sit up and pull it off.

“Now my king, I think it is you who is wearing too much” he gets off of me and slowly pulls his shirt off. I prop myself up on my elbows and watch his little show. I shouldn’t say little there is nothing little about this man.

‘You got that right little one.’ Akira says. He gives me a personal strip tease.

“You’re making me want to jump your bones.” he chuckles but doesn’t move to get closer. I’m tired of waiting. I walk up to him and jump into his arms. Wrapping my legs around his waist as he walks over and presses me to the wall. He cups the side of my face.

“You are beautiful.” When he looks at me like that, I believe everything he says. He truly does make me feel beautiful. His touch, his words, his voice, everything about this man drives me crazy.

He knocks me out of my thoughts as he starts grinding on me. “There you are, little one. You got lost on me there.”
