Chapter 31

Samanthas POV

I smile and wrap my arms around him. He positions himself at my entrance and doesn’t waste any time. I gasp out as he goes all the way in. He swallows my m***s with his mouth. Kasen wasted no time in moving his rod.

“You feel so good baby.” he breathes out. It feels so good. I never knew s*x could feel this good. I take my nails and scrape them down his back, and he g****s as I do. He reaches between us and rubs my sensitive nub while pistoning himself in and out. The combined feelings of pleasure have me building up close to my release. I feel it building and the tension growing in my belly.

“I’m close, Kasen!” I shout at him. His moves start getting sloppy, and his breaths quicken. His hand cups my cheek while the other squeezes my a*s. He leans his head down and bites into my mark. That sends me over the edge, and I replace my o****m. He comes shortly after with a m**n of his own resting his forehead on mine.

He carries me to the bathroom and runs me a bath. Dropping a bath bomb, some essential oils, and some rose petals, he lowers himself into the tub with me still attached to him. The warm water surrounds us and I rest myself against him.

“You know I love you, right?” I whisper as I trace designs on his muscular chest.

“Yes, I do. You know I love you as well, Woman.” He whispers as he k****s my forehead. I grab the loofah and cover it in his soap. I decide to take care of him and make him feel the intimacy that I feel. I take my time and rub the suds all over his body. His head rolls back and he sighs in relaxation.

“You deserve to be pampered as much as me. You do so much for this kingdom. It’s time someone does something for you.” I say as I climb behind him and Start massaging his back. His head leans on to me and I chuckle. His face looks so relaxed. I feel the tension leaving his body as the water grows colder.

“So, love, when do you want to have our mating ceremony and your coronation? I was thinking with everyone here, it would be perfect.” he asks me.

“That does sound good. How about on Friday? That gives us a week to prepare.” I say and he nods.

“I would like to take our moms, Gemma, Marcus’s Mate, and nay lunas who wish shopping. Just to get us out of the territory for a bit. I need a dress and could use some girl time.”

“That’s fine, but take some guards with you. Even Josh. I would feel more comfortable” I nod.

After getting out of the bath we made our way to the front of the castle to wait for the witches and Vampires to arrive. I felt so refreshed. “Do you personally know any of the Witches or Vampires that are coming?” he nods.

“Yes, some of the vampires that are coming are well over 400 years old. Have been working with my family for centuries.” It’s crazy to think someone has been alive that long. The first car arrives, and I pick up a scent that I’ve never personally smelled before. My nose twitches and Kasen laughs.

“That my dear mate would be a Vampire.” My mouth forms an O and he just chuckles. They step out of the car. The man looks to be about our age even though I know he’s not. The woman looks so sophisticated but has a smile that would brighten anyone’s day.

“Hello friends, it surely has been a while.” the Man says as he hugs Kasen. He takes my hand and k****s it.

“So, you must be the mate that finally got this sucker to settle down?” he asks, and I nod.

“My name is Samantha. It’s nice to meet you.” I say with a bow.

“Oh nonsense, none of that. Anyone who is mated with this youngster is family. This is my Beloved.” They truly are a beautiful couple.

After 10 more cars of Vampires and witches arrive, I feel exhausted. Something so new for me. I just shrug it off as me doing more work than it used to. We make our way to the training grounds and I see people have already started sparring.

“So, who am I sparring with today?” I ask Kasen. He smiles and eyes me.

“Me.” is all he says. Oh, this should be interested.

“Don’t take it easy on my love. Don’t hold your punches. You know I won’t hold mine.” I say with a chuckle. We take our positions in our circle and we size each other up.

“Wolf form or not?” I ask. He shrugs.

“Let’s not say and make it interesting. More of a realistic fight.”

Us two werewolves are meant to be the strongest in the kingdom. We are the leaders. This should be a pretty interesting matchup. We have gathered a crowd. A few of the Vampires, witches, and all of the Wolves that were training now have gathered to watch. Josh, Marcus, Jake, Andrew, my dad, Carson, and Alpha Aaron have front row seats.

“Who are you betting to win?” Jake asks everyone.

“You know if you want to bet, I’ll kick your a*s next.” I tell jake.

“You couldn’t even if you tried, little sister.”

“I’m younger by 2 minutes Jake. Don’t even try that.” During my banter with him, Kasen makes his move. He acts like he’s going to punch me in the face, but I go to block it and he gets my ribs. I have to get a feel for his strength, and his technique. Of course, my family knows what I’m doing. They trained me well. But holy hell, his hits hurt. He’s definitely not holding back.

I whimper and throw him off of me. I waste no time and charge at him. As I’m striking and dodging, I’m looking for weak spots, and or cues of his.

I notice he steps before every punch. I need to watch his footwork. He grabs my arm and twists and throws me over him and onto the ground. The air is knocked out of my lungs. He goes to pin me down, but I use my feet to throw him off of me. He growls and lunges again. I twist and sweep my leg and knock his out from under him.

This fight goes on for what feels like hours. We seem to be evenly matched. I have to come up with something to end this and end it now. I don’t want to lose this fight. ‘Whether we win or lose, we have stood our own against the King for this long.

‘We have earned everyone’s respect.’ Akira mentions to me. I have to agree.

I get up and spit out the b***d from my mouth onto the ground. He looks at me, and I hear him and Atlas whimper a bit. He knows he can’t take it easy on me, but he doesn’t want to see his mate hurt. I smile at him.

“It’s okay, love.” I link him so no one can hear. The tension eases off his face.

I go to charge him and manage to get my arms around his neck. I kick his knees out and bring him down. Just when I think I’ve got this in the bag, he heaves his whole-body weight forward and throws me over him and pins me to the ground.

“Do you concede?” he asks me. I struggle and wiggle to get out of his grasp and he tightens his hold on me. There’s no getting out of this.

“There is no shame in tapping out. You did well, love.” he Links me. I nod my head and tap the ground 3 times. He releases me and helps me up. Checking my body for any serious injuries and takes my face in both his hands and k****s my lips and then my nose, my cheeks, and finishes with my forehead. I hug him in thanks.

“Thank you for sparring with me, Kasen. I guess you are the king for a reason. That was the toughest fight I’ve ever had.” He smiles and wraps his arm around me. Jake, Carson, Dad, Andrew, and Alpha Aaron approach us.

“Nice job, sis. Kasen, you are a hell of a fighter.” Jake says shaking Kasen’s hand. My dad pats my shoulder. He doesn’t have to say anything.

“You truly are remarkable, Samantha. No one has held their own that long against my son except me in so long.” Andrew says. Alpha Aaron smiles at me and pats my back. He was always fun to spar with. Carson nods in respect and bows his respect. Josh, and Marcus come over and chat with us for a while. My uncle joins us.

“You take after your father.” he says.

“He trained me well. How are you and your pack settling in?”

He smiles. “We are doing just fine. Everyone here has been great.” We chat for a little while longer before my mom links us that dinner is served.

We decided to go shopping today. All in all, we had about 20 people with us that wanted to take a break from the Palace and pack grounds. Some decided to walk around the mall, but My mom, Rosaline, Gemma, and Marcus’s Mate are all going around dress shopping for my Mating Ceremony and Coronation.

I am not Nervous about my mating Ceremony, but when it comes to legally becoming the queen, I am petrified. I guess it must be written all over my face because Rosaline comes up to talk with me.

“You know, when I was going to be crowned queen, I almost got cold feet.” I looked at her in shock. She was rumored to be the best queen yet for this kingdom. That, and she and Andrew were so completely in love.

“Don’t get me wrong, I love my mate with all of my heart and my family, but it was intimidating to think I was going to be running a kingdom at 18. I had just shifted for the first time and met Andrew. I of course knew who he was, but that didn’t matter to me. But I was so nervous. What if I messed up? What if I did something wrong? I was my biggest critic.” She mentioned.

“How did you overcome all of those thoughts? I can’t help but think I’m too young, that ill mess this up, I’m not feminine enough, I’m too tough, that I’m not good enough.” she grabbed my hand and squeezed.

“I listened to my heart, my wolf, and my mate. I knew that I would make mistakes. Everyone does. Even Andrew and Kasen make mistakes. But it’s how you overcome them and correct them that counts. You are good enough; you are the right one for the job. I’ve been observing you, Samantha. You are already acting like a true and noble queen. Being feminine has nothing to do with it. Being tough as nails though, that’s a good thing. Kasen needs the tough as nails type. So does this kingdom. Every time there was a conflict or a dispute, I was always fighting side by side with Andrew, as will you. I couldn’t have asked for a more kind, beautiful, thoughtful, more perfect mate for my son. Just know that you will make mistakes, and that’s okay, you will get confused or need help, that’s okay. Andrew and I will always be here for guidance as well. So will your parents. You are not alone darling.”

I couldn’t stop the tear or two that escaped from my eyes. We were in the process of a hug when my mom came up holding a dress.

“She’s right, you know. We are all here for you. We have decided not to go back to the Blue Ridge Mountain pack. We would like to stay with you and your brother if that is okay.” My mom said. I jumped up and wrapped her in my arms.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way, momma! Now let me see this dress.” I said. She held it up and it was gorgeous. It was a soft Mint Green dress. It was a trumpet style dress with sheer lace covering the chest and for sleeves. It had a slight shimmer to it.

“I thought it would bring out your eyes, and the Shimmer reminds me of Akiras coat.” she said.

“It’s absolutely gorgeous, mom!” She gave it to me to try on while Gemma came running up to show me the heels she picked me out.

“You know I will break my neck in these, right?” I asked and she just squinted her eyes at me. I’m not getting out of wearing them, I guess. I took them and stuck my tongue out at her. I tried on the dress and it fit like a glove. I had my long brown hair draped down my back and decided to step out to show them. Everyone gasped and just looked in awe.

“That’s the one. You look Stunning.” everyone said.

“Oh, I found this. I think it would go perfectly, It matches your shoes too.” Marcus’ mate said as she draped a pendant over my neck. She was a nice girl, shy but super nice. I have a feeling wed become really close!

‘They’re right, little one. We look amazing. Kasen and Atlas won’t be able to keep their paws off of us.’ I smirked at her.

After paying for the dress, we decided to get some lunch at a local Bakery. It was family owned and absolutely delicious. As soon as we started eating a thought popped in my head.

“I just thought of something. It’s big, and I don’t know what to do or think about it.” Everyone looked at me. “So we are waging war on the Council, right? Well, I am being crowned as queen in 3 days. Doesn’t the council have to be here for that? What will they say when they replace so many people on our territory for training? It will be a dead giveaway.”

Everyone pauses and looks deep in thought. I decide to link Kasen. Normally we cant link if we’re too far away, but this mall is right outside the pack’s territory.

“Love, we need to talk when I get home. It’s important.”

He wastes no time in replying. “Everything okay, love? It’s never a good thing to lead a conversation off like that.”

I chuckled. “It’s not anything you did wrong but something major. Something that could potentially be bad.” He agreed to let it wait until we got home but said we needed to hurry back to discuss it.

As we were leaving the Bakery, the wind blew towards us, and I picked up on a scent. I stiffened which caused the girls and the warriors with us to look at me in question.

“Don’t you all smell that?” they raised their noses and took everything in. The guards eyes widened in realization.

“Move, NOW!” they said as they ushered us to the car.
