"Mommy?" Jenna blinked her big eyes, looking puzzled at Sherilyn.

"Yes, sweetie," Sherilyn chuckled, nodding as she explained to her daughter.

Pointing at Francis, she said, "Jenna, this is Uncle Frank..."

"Uncle Frank..." Jenna obediently repeated, realizing she not only had a younger uncle but an elder one too.

"You're such a good girl," Francis, who usually maintained a stoic expression, smiled warmly at Jenna.

Sherilyn then gestured towards James, "And this is big brother James."

Although the two kids were born in the same year, James was a few months older, making him the big brother, no doubt.

"Big brother James." Jenna said shyly, her large eyes slightly bewildered. She had a brother now!

James's face turned beet red, stumbling over his words, "Ju-, Jenna... little sister!"

Francis gave his son a sidelong glance, unimpressed.

Leaning down, he advised his son, "Now that you've met your little sister, make sure you get along well with her and take care of her, got it?"

James nodded vigorously, "Got it, Dad!" Sneaking peeks at Jenna, he knew as the big brother, taking care of his little sister was his duty!

...

Bursting out of the elevator, Rebecca White hurried towards the hospital ward, a bag in hand-a care package Sophia had asked her to deliver. "Sis! Sis!"

Hearing the shout, Rebecca White didn't initially realize it was aimed at her.

"Rebecca White!"

It wasn't until her full name was called out that she stopped in her tracks, turning around to see Francis and his son James not far behind. Surprised, she smiled, "Mr. Johnson?"

Her gaze shifted to James, "Hey there, James."

James pouted slightly, "You're ignoring me."

"Oh, I'm so sorry." Rebecca White crouched down to his level, apologizing sincerely. "I just didn't hear you, it wasn't on purpose. How could I ignore you, James?" "Teehee."

Easily appeased, James grinned, "What brings you to the hospital, Sis? Are you sick?"

"No..." Rebecca shook her head. "I'm here to visit someone."

Turning the question back on him, "What about you, James?"

"Dad brought me to see Aunt Jenna and my cousin."

Rebecca glanced at Francis, realizing they were here to visit Jenna.

"Sis."

James, trying to sound grown-up, said, "I'd like to take you out for a meal, when are you free?"

"A meal?" Rebecca was momentarily taken aback, "Why?"

James bit his lip, a little

embarrassed, "Last time I got lost, and you helped me replace my dad i haven't thanked you propert

"Oh, that..."

SUMS

Rebecca chuckled, ruffling his hair. Such a polite and thoughtful boy.

"But," she continued, "you've already thanked me, remember?"

Pulling out her phone, she showed him the screen displaying a

swho

g... one that James had made

of her.

"See, you made me look so pretty here? This is your thank you gift to me, and I love it."

Flattered by the praise, James's cheeks flushed pink, "You kept my drawing?"

"Of course."

Rebecca smiled, nodding, "I've

can'tceived your drawing,

you treat me to a meal."

Standing up, she added, "I have to go now, James, see you!"

She waved at James, gave Francis a nod, and walked away briskly.

"Sis..."

James pouted, looking disappointed.

"Come on," Francis glanced at his son, "Still don't want to leave? She's already gone." "Dad."

James looked up, "Can you promise me something?"
