Shelly was the first to see Joyce and she hurriedly nudged Jacqueline,"Mom, isn't that Joyce? Why did she come to the hospital?"Jacqueline had been having neck pain lately, which then gave her a lotof headache, and she had trouble sleeping at night.

She was scheduled to come to St. Maria Hospital today for her regularphysical therapy appointment.

Following the direction of Shelly's finger, Jacqueline saw Joycestanding in the middle of the hallway, glowering.

“It's bad luck, she's everywhere. She was kidnapped and survived. Shejust won't die, right?" Shelly pouted and complained. She naturallywanted Joyce dead. No matter who it was that killed Joyce, as long asshe was killed, the shares of R&S Group that Joyce inherited could bereturned to them.

Jacqueline naturally hoped that something would happen to Joyce, andafter learning that Joyce had been kidnapped, she was not worried atall and was even somewhat expecting it.

But to her surprise, Joyce actually came back alive.

Although she had already learned from the police department thatJoyce was still alive. But seeing Joyce alive in front of her with her owneyes, it was still hard for her to hide her disappointment andresentment.

Jacqueline quickened her paces and pulled Shelly with her to the frontof Joyce.

"What are you doing in the hospital?" Jacqueline gathered her coiffureand looked around, glaring suspiciously at Joyce.

The third floor was for obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, andphysical therapy only. What could Joyce have done when she camehere?

Joyce heard a familiar voice ringing in her ears.

She came back to her senses instantly. Hell, what was she doing?She hurriedly stuffed the ultrasound report into her carry-on satchel, notwanting Jacqueline and Shelly to know about her pregnancy."Gastroenteritis, just come here for some medicine." Joyce casuallylied. Fortunately the gastroenterology department was also on the thirdfloor, and at the very inside, otherwise she really couldn't think of anexcuse for a while - why she appeared in the corridor near theobstetrics and gynecology department.

Although, the fact that she was more than three months pregnant, shehad not been able to digest it herself.

"Gastroenteritis?" Shelly looked at Joyce with contempt, “I heard youwere kidnapped? Is that true? I see that you are in good shape? Itdoesn't look like you've been tortured at all. It's not as if you've beenleading your own show, is it?"

“I'm back alive, and I'm sorry to disappoint you. A show? You have agreat imagination. Should I give you a part in it too?"

Joyce returned a blank stare to Shelly.

She just knew they would never say any nice words.

"You!" Shelly gasped.

"How can you say something like that? Don't you think you need torespect me? Not even a greeting when you see me?" Jacquelineaccused with dissatisfaction.

Theoretically she had never been able to take advantage of Joyce butby virtue of her status as an elder.

"Oh, I'm sorry, elders are meant to respect and love their juniors, not topick a fight. I thought we were strangers, so there was no need for us tosay hello." Joyce smiled coldly, "If there's nothing else, I'll leave first.""You!" Joyce didn't even leave Jacqueline with a chance to speak."How dare you talk to my mother like that." Shelly shouted, and sheraised her hand to slap Joyce in the face.
