Lukyan’s teeth closed around the flesh and hot liquid filled his muzzle. A piercing howl invaded the expanse of the area so that everyone froze with their tails between their legs and ears down.

Ryan jerked trying to shake off the smaller wolf above and swung his head around grabbing it by the paw, burying his fangs into the thin skin, shattering the thin bones and tossing it aside. Lukyan landed a few feet away from it and sat up, spitting out in disgust a piece of flesh he had taken with him. The leg that had been bitten off rebuilt itself with incredible speed. Lucian’s b***d had given it the ability to regenerate and the strength in his body accelerated this process.

The wound he had left on Ryan’s neck did not close as the ones caused by Dante or Lucian had done. B***d spilled onto the ground in large quantities. The wolf growled loudly in indignation.

-Damn you,” he almost shouted in his mind but the voice came out almost slurred, “Damn you and your worthless son,” he shook his head in exasperation, “Get him out of my mind,” he felt something slowly seeping out.

Lukyan could hear laughter spreading to him.

-Come on wolf, don’t be so soft, give me more fight. You’re so boring,” his laughter this time turned weird.

The omega swallowed dryly. This was his son, but he was something different than he had imagined. He knew that the b***d he had consumed had caused his son’s consciousness to form even if his body was barely a pimple inside his body. He used the bridge he had created to move towards his greatest enemy.

The hair on the omega’s back stood on end. Still it was not enough. Its eyes were bloodshot. The scent of her husband’s crimson liquid wafted to her muzzle. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been so upset, and the sight of the dark wolf’s body made the rage rise to uncontrollable levels. Snarling, he angled the front of his body and gathering momentum he quickly lunged again. Ryan moved and faced him. Only a metre in front of him he leapt to the side and dodged the mouthful of teeth coming at him and leapt to the right. He propelled himself with his hind legs and opening his mouth he charged at the throat again.

Ryan moved just as fast and dodged it. It was getting harder and harder to attack him. Despite his strength, size was a liability. Lukyan turned to resume his attack when something fell on him and bit the back of his neck. He jerked hard and managed to break free to see a small wolf from the iron pack.

He felt Ryan’s laughter in his mind this time.

-Your son may be strong but he can do nothing when I control only a small number, my influence is far greater,” he said.

Lukyan looked for his son but could not make contact with him. He could feel the enemy pack around him beginning to thin the attack, so he was still doing his thing in there somewhere. Ryan no longer had control over them but instead had concentrated on one thing. On destroying him. He had realised that if he couldn’t have him, then he wouldn’t belong to anyone.

Lukyan ran backwards as he was attacked again this time by two larger wolves. Soon he was surrounded by six. Ryan just watched a few feet away as the scene unfolded. He no longer cared if he got Dante’s pack. He had defeated him, as well as Lucian. All that remained was to subjugate the wolf that was breaking his every plan and they would all bow to him, without protest.

The omega did not back down. It was much harder to fight them all than it was to fight Ryan. The reason, he knew how strong their bites were and that he could kill them too easily and he didn’t want that. He couldn’t access their minds either. Being so closed the other omega’s circle of concentration was like an impenetrable wall. She growled, but this only incited those around her and one of them jumped onto her back.

Lukyan turned to face him when a shadow passed over his head and slammed into the attacker, taking him with it. He was soon able to identify Falco. Another one charged at him, but was attacked by Kaiser. Following them came the rest of the wolves in charge of his guard allowing him to open the way. Once Lukyan was sure his wolves could handle the attackers he turned his attention to his target.

The wolf began to advance towards him lowering its head menacingly. Its eyes had lost their irises and its snout was bubbling. It was beyond annoying. Lukyan faced him and ran at him leaping and colliding their bodies. They both fell to the ground in a biting brawl where the sound of bones crushing, skin breaking and b***d spurting was all that could be heard. Even Kaiser had to pause to see the horrifying sight of him almost being bitten by the wolf beneath him who wouldn’t give up.

He wanted to go help him but he had strictly told them not to intervene. A bite from Ryan could be lethal and as those beasts fought he would only be a hindrance. Falco had tamed the small puppy leaving him unconscious and not too badly injured between his paws and he didn’t miss the scene either. He didn’t know where one wolf began and another began. His heart was pounding, not knowing what the outcome would be. Besides, worrying about his alpha was driving him crazy.

Ryan and Lukyan separated. The wolf’s body regenerating causing him pain. His condition was deplorable not unlike Ryan. They had done their best in the confrontation and their fur was covered in b***d and dirt. Still, the wolf with its huge size and full of wounds stood up to attack him again not caring that half of his body was full of wounds.

Suddenly a dark wolf landed on Ryan’s back and bit him deeply. Although it didn’t do much damage and the wound closed, at least it managed to knock him to the side. The wolf jumped up and landed next to Lukyan and licked him behind the ear. The omega’s heart beat with relief and he g*****d accordingly. Dante, her husband was relatively well, he was alive.

Lukyan quickly searched through his fur with his nose for wounds to replace them healing. That meant only one thing. On the other side of Ryan, Lucian walked towards them. He looked tired but willing to fight on. The omega staggered slightly in relief, but recovered instantly. He found a wound that was still open on Dante’s lower neck and licked it as he kept track of his foe who was already back on his feet.

Once she noticed that the wound was beginning to close more quickly she took a step forward, but Dante grabbed her hair at her side with his mouth pulling her back.

-I won’t let you fight alone.

-And I won’t risk losing you,” she said, “I won’t let myself see you again thinking you’re dead.

Dante said nothing for a few seconds and leaned down, licking the side of her face.

-You won’t lose me, but let me fight by your side,” he said.

-They could hear Lucian intruding on their conversation.

Lukyan turned his head to the front and nodded.

-Then cover me, let’s not stall this any longer.

And the three of them ran to Ryan.
