A Fallen Heir’s Redemption By ( Lucian and Freya ) -
Chapter 64
Chapter 64 Unstoppable
At that moment, Carlos revealed his true colors and made it clear that he wanted to take down
Lucian.
Lucian was being held down by four security guards, but he remained calm and asked with a smile, “Carlos, do you really think that a knife and a group of guards are enough to take me down?”
“No, no, no. I think I’m enough to take down a little piece of garbage like you,” Carlos replied with a cold sneer as he brandished his knife.
Without further ado, Carlos charged toward Lucian with his knife raised high.
The strike was brutal, aimed directly at Lucian’s forehead. Lucian’s face darkened in an instant, realizing that this was no longer just an attempt to take him down, but a clear attempt on his life. If the strike connected, it would have killed him instantly.
He had initially thought that Joe had some shred of decency, but it appeared that Carlos was even more ruthless than Horatio.
Lucian couldn’t help but laugh bitterly at the situation.
“Get out of my way,” Lucian growled, his expression turning dark. With a slight wave of his hands, the four security guards who were restraining him were sent flying like balls, crashing into the wall and falling to the ground unconscious.
Without hesitation, Lucian kicked Carlos who was charging towards him with a knife.
Carlos didn’t even have time to react before he was sent flying over three meters away by Lucian’s powerful kick, knocking down the group of guards behind him. He clutched his broken chest in agony and roared, “Get him! Kill this bastard!”
The
group of guards immediately rushed towards Lucian, weapons in hand.
“You little punk, let’s see how tough you really are,” Carlos sneered, watching the guards charge toward Lucian. In his mind, even if Lucian was skilled, he would never be able to take on a group of guards. Today, Lucian was doomed to die, even if Heavenly Father himself came, he wouldn’t be able to save this worthless piece of garbage.
“Ahhhhhh!”
In the next moment, screams echoed through the private room.
Before Carlos could react, he saw his subordinates writhing on the ground like dying dogs, with broken arms and limbs, a truly gruesome sight.
What in the world just happened?
Carlos was dumbfounded by what he saw, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief. He thought Lucian was a worthless piece of trash, but he had no idea how strong his combat power truly was.
In just a minute, more than twenty security guards were taken down.
“Don’t come any closer!!” Carlos lay on the ground, clutching his chest and shouting in desperation.
Lucian’s face darkened as he approached Carlos, placing his foot on Carlos’s left leg and looking down at him from above. “If I, Lucian, want to leave, do you think you and your
bunch of lackeys
can stop me?”
“What do you want?” Carlos trembled, his face pale as he saw Lucian’s cold and merciless gaze.
“Tell Joe for me,” Lucian said, “if he doesn’t want the chance to soar to success, then he better get ready to become a beggar. I, Lucian, will stop at nothing to take him down.”
With those words, Lucian raised his right foot and crippled both of Carlos’s legs.
“Ah!”
Carlos let out a pained scream as he fell to the ground, unconscious.
Lucian sneered at the sight of the fallen security guards and strode out of the Radianz Business and Entertainment Club. He knew Joe was still inside, but he wasn’t in a rush to confront him just
yet.
He preferred to gather all the dogs in one place before settling accounts.
Ten minutes later, the bald–headed Joe arrived at the private room and was met with the sight of Carlos’s mangled legs. His face turned pale and he immediately poured a bottle of water on Carlos’s head to wake him up.
“What the hell happened? Where’s that worthless punk, Lucian?” Joe demanded, looking down on Carlos from above.
Carlos had a pained expression as he spoke, “Mr. Workman, that kid is just too good at fighting. We were no match for him, and he wanted me to tell you that if you don’t take the opportunity to succeed, then be prepared to become a beggar. And he also wants to have a feud with you that will not end until one of you is dead.”
“What?!”
Joe was so angry that he was losing his rationality. His fists clenched tightly, and he cursed, “He thinks he can make me a beggar? This little punk? Well, let the world know that Joe and Lucian
2/4
are mortal enemies, starting from tomorrow!”
Lucian had returned to the hotel, where Liam was already waiting for him. Sitting on the sofa, Lucian lit a cigarette and asked, “What about the three companies from out of town?”
Liam’s face was filled with anger as he spoke, “It’s not looking good. All three of them are ungrateful scumbags. Uncle Alexander helped them in the past, but now they’ve turned on him. Not only are they not willing to help you, but they also curse you to die soon. And…”
“And what?”
Lucian was curious to know what the leaders of the other three companies had to say, especially after seeing the attitudes of Horatio and Joe.
Liam took a deep breath and said, “They said that when your father was alive, you were the high and mighty Mr. Gray. But now that your father is dead, you’re just an abandoned kid who doesn’t deserve their help. They even said they’re prepared with a knife to make you publicly commit suicide. It’s truly infuriating.”
Lucian chuckled darkly in response to these words.
“Mr. War God, with just a word from you, we can make them disappear from Vandergrift.”
Liam couldn’t accept this and asked, “Why bother inviting them to help if it’s not necessary?”
Lucian put out his cigarette and said calmly, “They were once my father’s closest friends, and I don’t want to harm them. But now that I’ve seen their attitude, I won’t hold back. Go investigate all five of those companies from top to bottom. Even if it’s just one penny of tax evasion, make sure it’s exposed. If they choose to take the path to heaven, they won’t be stopped. But if they dare to barge into hell, then so be it.”
In the blink of an eye, two days had passed and it was the big day for the Gray family to go public!
The three major companies from outside the city had all gathered in Sioux, and Henry led the entire Gray Group to greet them with grandeur.
This caused a sensation in Sioux.
The Big Five, consisting of Arctiq Group from Qruusford, Zeustime Group from Hutol, Tigerwood Group from Yiric, Hope Group, and Radianz Group from Sioux, gathered at the Imperial Sioux Hotel to show their strong support for the Gray Group’s IPO.
Meanwhile, a piece of bombshell news broke out. It was known that Lucian had only one enemy, the Gray family, but now The Big Five declared him an unrelenting foe. Sources revealed that Lucian had sought their help but ended up threatening them instead.
People couldn’t help but laugh at the sheer stupidity of his actions. Lucian thought he could take
on the Gray family alone, but in seeking help, he had also managed to make enemies with The Big Five. They had seen their fair share of fools, but never one as colossal as Lucian.

The news of Lucian’s foolish move and the Big Five’s declaration of war against him spread like wildfire, and of course, Freya and her family learned about it too.
Freya was furious when she found out. She thought Lucian had left Sioux days ago and given up on his revenge, but apparently, he was still there, and he went as far as to seek help from the Big Five, which made them his enemy as well.
“Is he crazy or what?” Freya burst into tears as she vented her frustration to Annie. “He’s making things worse for himself!”
Annie was also angry but tried to calm Freya down. “I know, Fay, but Lucian is a hothead. He has no idea what he’s doing. Let’s just leave him be.”
“No, I can’t just sit here and watch him get killed,” Freya wiped her tears and showed determination. “He’s my man, and I have to do something to help him.”
With no other options, Freya turned to Jared, her old schoolmate, for help. She knew she had no connections or resources of her own, but Jared might be able to assist her. So she left the villa in tears and headed for Jared’s place to ask for his help.
